Ship was perfect. Crew excellent. What made the trip were the 3 Naturalists split between 27 people. Small groups to tour, very flexible.

Could not have been better

This trip was something I had wanted to do for 20 years ever since I studied Darwin in school. We did the southern route because we were concerned about seasickness and thought this route had less sailing than the northern route. There were two nights that we had some motion in the boat at night while sailing but they worked out ok and the other nights were no issue.
The guides, Roberto and Hernon, were excellent. They were friendly, knowledgable and fun. All the excursions were well planned and very interesting. The stargazing at night was also spectacular.
The only drawback to our trip was that several people got upset stomachs. However, the cruise director, Ariana, was most helpful to those of us who got sick.
There was enough activity that most of us were happy to go to our cabins after dinner and read a book or go to sleep.
It was a week that I will never forget and hope to repeat.

We had a wonderful week with Quasar. The guides were all very informative and helpful, the food was excellent and the staff were all great. The boat was clean and well equipped. Couldn't have been better.

All Quasar staff members attend to any detail that one might encounter when traveling.Upon arrival of our flights, there was always someone to meet us at the arrivals gate with resources and staff to get us to our hotel. Drivers were all very personable, knowledgeable, and prompt. Tour guides were very prompt, professional and knowledgeable. Food provided was excellent. Accommodations booked by Quasar staff were excellent. We really appreciated the expertise of all Quasar did for us as we journeyed through Peru, the Amazon, and the Galapagos. It was a very memorable trip of a lifetime. We would truly welcome the opportunity to travel with Quasar again to any of their destinations.

My trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos was amazing.
From land to sea the excursions to discover the terrain and wildlife was well planned and well guided by Quasar and the crew of the Evolution.
The crew was exceptional. The Evolution was comfortable and felt like home for the week.
All the naturalist and guides were so knowledgeable, professional and kindhearted.
This was a trip of a lifetime.
I would recommend Quasar and the Evolution to everyone.

Outstanding Galapagos Islands cruise on the 16 room Evolution exploration yacht!
Our 7 night cruise started Feb 1, 2020. Everything was fantastic. Hard to explain how the entire vacation seemed to work seamlessly. It appealed to my husband and I because it was The Galapagos, an active vacation with daily activities including snorkeling, kayaking and hiking.
This was a second time for me aboard Evolution. I had done the Eastern itinerary in 2019, and was so impressed that I just had to book the Western itinerary for this year.
The consistency in outstanding activities, naturalist guides, crew members and meals was impressive.
I felt well cared for with the bonus of learning about and experiencing the wildlife and sea life of the Galapagos Islands first-hand.
There is nothing I can suggest that Quasar can do to improve their product. They have achieved something that my husband and I found to be perfect for our expectations!

The entire trip was perfect, best we've ever had. Quasar gave us all the information we needed, helped us with our stay in Guayaquil, got us on the very best yacht (M/Y Grace) and had the best guides, naturalists, crew and conditions. We never wanted for a thing and felt extremely well taken care of.

Quasar is amazing. They really thought through every single detail. The trip was perfect and the service was incredible. There is no other way to do the Galapagos!

We traveled to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands with Quasar Expeditions in January 2020. They handled every aspect of the trip from our land experiences in Ecuador, the flights to and from the Galapagos Islands and aboard the M/V Evolution. Every aspect of the trip from our initial inquiry, through the booking and the trip itself met or exceeded our expectations. The ship was well appointed. The crew was professional. The daily hikes and snorkeling excursions led by biologists, not just guides, were informative and eye opening. Just amazing how close you get to all the animals on the surface and underwater. Great value for the money. We would highly recommend Quasar Expeditions. Thank you Diane & Paul for a very memorable experience.

We did have the trip of a lifetime in Ecuador, and the week in the
Galapagos on The Grace was the jewell in the crown! It was truly
extraordinary to be there. The boat was exceptional, as was the food,
the crew, and the guides. They all really looked after us every minute
of the day. The snorkelling and island walks were always different and amazing.
And the people we met in the cruise were really fun to spend time with and get to know. We had lots of laughs and learned a lot about the Galapagos on our adventure there.

The mainland Ecuador travel was fantastic as well. We enjoyed our guide in Quito. The jungle was also a highlight and well worth visiting. I got to see many many hummingbirds at the Hacienda - I am so glad you suggested we stay there, so relaxing.

You helped us every step of the way and there are many steps!! Thankyou so much Paul for always answering my questions and making suggestions, I very much appreciate your input on this holiday. It was a very special family trip that we agreed was our best family holiday yet!

Everything about our trip was perfect. Qusar coordinated literally everything including having some wine shipped post trip!
I'd HIGHLY recomend.

We found everything to be excellent--the crew, the food, the itinerary and especially the guides. We're hoping to do it again in the not too distant future with even more family.

One thing that would be nice is a list of passenger names (just first names would work) and maybe where they are from. If the passengers would be agreeable, it would really help in learning the 25+ names in shorter time. Sometimes we could remember one of the couple's names but not the other. Or we might remember where they were from but couldn't remember the names. (This is what happens when you are transporting mostly older people with shorter memories).

Quasar trips are well organized and well run. Attention is paid to the details. The staffing was excellent. I would definitely go on another trip run by quasar

I spend quite a lot of time to write down my review. Where was it lost or why was it not saved or submitted? When I followed all the prompts?

Quasar was exceptional on all fronts. One specific note was that the food services were excellent and they impeccably took care of my vegan diet.

From the first contacts with Diane and Paul through Quito then the Galapagos we had first rate care and fun! Our ship crew, food and cabin folks and especially the naturalist were focused on our comfort and education. This is the way to see the Galapagos.

We had an absolutely amazing trip-of-a-lifetime aboard the Grace! And Gloria was a fabulous guide for our mainland tours. We highly recommend Quasar Expeditions.

Every detail of the trip was considered. It was interesting, well thought out, with absolutely lovely accommodations. Perhaps the best trip we have ever taken. Thank you for making both Patagonia by jeep and a week on the M/V Evolution such a great experience.
