I did the DEA course with Quidos, I just want to say 'Thankyou for all your support!!'
For the customer service, for the training and for all the help you guys gave me while completing all the tasks'

I had no experience, didn't know anything!!It took me over a month to complete the course and get my qualifications!!I have had serious health conditions,Quidos really helped me through it, helped me in every aspect!were very kind and understanding in regards to my condition.Whenever I called or emailed!
They responded with care, due and attention!!
I am not tech savy, you guys were really patient with me.. I would recommend to all!!
A special thanks to my trainer Hassan, for all his patience with me! And not forgetting Lorna, thankyou for understanding and helping navigate through everything.. All the best...😊

Great on-boarding experience

Fast, Simple and Efficient company to join and become Accredited. I recently applied for DEA accreditation with Quidos and the on-boarding process and communication has been exemplary. Nick in the Accreditations team has been extremely helpful and informative. I look forward to working with Quidos with my business going forward.

I'm Sticking with Quidos

I was accredited with Northgate until it was sold to Elmhurst and briefly accredited with Elmhurst to which I didn't enjoy at all. I've been with Quidos now for over 8 years and have had a great experience and found the iQ-Energy software a perfect tool for completing my EPC surveys. The supporting evidence upload process has become simple and more user friendly which saves time.
The technical support has been great, when needed, and all of the team I have dealt with have been helpful, informative and friendly. Billy, Shay, Arnold and Catherine have been great over the years and I will continue to stick with Quidos as long as I lodge EPCs.

In my humble option,

the new RdSAP software is a significant improvement over the old version. It is incredibly straightforward to use, making it much easier to navigate through the process of generating EPCs.

The layout is clean and intuitive, with functionality that's much more streamlined and efficient. I have already used it to run several EPCs, and it has worked flawlessly every time.

The applications are well-designed, and the enhanced user interface makes the whole experience smoother.

While I don't usually give high ratings easily, I would confidently rate this software a 9 out of 10. Overall, I'm very pleased with it.

I am a contractor working for the training department

I am a contractor, the Quidos staff are pleasant on the phone and will always give an answer to your questions. I do enjoy my time marking students course work.
The only criticism I have is the manager will never phone you up and ask how are you doing have you got any issues etc.
The only communication is via email.

Pure rubbish!

Pure rubbish!! Experience around 2017.
Still bugs me to my core SO HAD TO SHARE IT. BETTER LATE THAN NEVER!! Used to be accredited with Quidos but their lack of professionalism and support is award winning. Could not resolve a simple customer complaint and led me to lose my accreditation by their mistake. Had to hire solicitor to whack them and threaten their existence for this ti be resolved. Total nightmare. They prefer to protect a lying customer than their fee paying assessors. Got them shaken not stirred like martini to get my life and accreditation back. THIS ACCREDITATION IS TO BE AVOIDED AT ALL COST. NOT WORTH THE SLIGHT LODGEMENT SAVING. VVV POOR. RATING OF MINUS 100 ON A SCALE OF 1 TO 10. 😂

Ultimately our customer service extends beyond our duty to you (as our customer) but to your customers too. If we receive a complaint against you, the fact you pay us fees is irrelevant. We do not operate a “customer is always right” policy, and consider all cases by their individual merits. Obviously should you ever wish to reconsider joining Quidos, then the feeling would be mutual.

VERY POOR DEA COURSE SERVICE

VERY POOR SERVICE
Booked onto the 5 day DEA course 17/12/23 and deposited my coursework for grading on 7/1/24. It has taken from then until now (9/4/24 over 3 months) for my certificate to come through! WHAT A JOKE!! I have been in constant contact asking why it is taking so long for my certificate as I could not start work without it (unemployed at that point). Many poor excuses were provided. The fact is, the internal assessor could not be bothered to check my work in time for the external examiner's visit, which was around the start of FEB and so missed that slot. On top of that, I had questions relevant to my coursework but the assessor chose only to answer 50% of them despite frequent requests. This indicates the tuition quality, as questions from students is part of the learning process. This course cost me £1260.00 in total but cost me even more in lost earnings due to the certificate delay.
In brief, VERY POOR SHOW INDEED QUIDOS!!

Dear Marc, thank you for your review, and I am as frustrated as you are with the delays in receiving your qualification.
As you are aware your portfolio did need revision, and our auditors did work with you to enable that. Whilst the speed of the review may not have been in line with your timetable, we had to meet the requirements of the awarding body (ABBE). We are pleased that you are now qualified and working as a DEA.
However, we do agree with you that the service you received was below our usual high standards, and for that I apologise. We have learnt from our mistakes, and have implemented procedures to ensure a more efficient system is in place now.

Avoid Quidos like the plague.

I enrolled on an energy assessor coarse. For two weeks now (since 6th dec 2023) I have been unabe to uload my assignments for marking so that I could gain energy assessor qualification.

There has been a long running technical issue. Quidos failed to reply to my earlier messages. I felt that I needed to provoke a response and threatened legal action.

I got a response 1 weekago and still that issue hasn't been fixed.

I have tries complaining to ABBE (Quidos are a registered trainer with them) UNfortunately, I have to wait until Quidos finish investigating my complaint.

I have walked away from the curse and feel angry because I have invested a lot of time in trying to get an energy assessr qualification.

Don`t do it

Don`t do it. I had to sign up to a 12 month contract, I see why they do that as I would have left them after 2 months.
Constant Audits, rude, crap software and really unhelpful.

Thank you Andrew for your comments, we take all criticism as constructive. Auditing is standardised across all Accreditation Schemes, and hence when an assessor fails 15 out of 15 audits over 10 month period, it is likely they will experience a disproportionate rate of auditing.

They need to get rid of the Audit team


They need to get rid of the Audit team and they would have twice as many assessors. They a rude , arrogant and unhelpful.
There are more user friendly schemes out there.

Choosing and using EPC auditors

I am an Energy Performance Certificate examiner and carry out Energy Performance Certificates on homes. My accreditors are QUIDOS who examine my work. I have now stopped doing EPC,s as a result of the lack of support from QUIDOS. When auditing my work they chose to ignore my personal notes to help fill gaps or provide additional information, chose to ignore my local knowledge of properties, chose to dismiss evidence from the local authority proving the level of insulation for a particular property I was examining which impacts on approximately 2000 properties in an area where I live potentially pushing them down from a C to D group. When the company were asked what percentage of appeals against there inspections were successfull they refused to provide it. They carry out their own reviews of their. On a positive note when I have contacted them for advice or clarification they have been helpful in the past. You have a choice who does your EPC and if you do EPC,s you have a choice who audits them. As I said my experience with QUIDOS has lead me to stop doing EPC,s.

Dear Robert - As we have discussed on email with you recently, we had genuine and valid reasons for the reason to fail this audit. We obviously take into account an assessors notes and evidence, however if that evidence is not sufficient to support the decision the energy assessor has made, then we cannot justify these data entries. We appreciate that this can be the cause of frustration to you, and whilst we do attempt to avoid the "computer says no" response, we do have rules to follow. All accreditation schemes are obliged to follow the same rules.
In relation to appeal statistics, of the 58 audit appeals in 2020, 9 have been upheld.

EXCELLENT SERVICE

Great customer care service and very professional and helpful technical team. They carried out a quality audit on an EPC certificate and thanks to them I have now an accurate certificate that properly reflects the correct energy rating for my property.
