Thank you for your feedback.

To address your concern, the Pokémon TCG Celebrations Ultra Premium Collection Box was short printed for release. The official release date in Australia for this particular item is 26 November 2021. We were only able to offer this item to a few customer orders, and not to all pre-orders that we received. We removed orders that we could not fulfil, and have not requested payment for orders that we cannot complete.

To further reiterate the above, we were only offered a limited amount of the Ultra Premium, to which we have already allocated to customer orders, and will not request further payment from customers in reflection of secondary market prices. Customers will receive their Ultra Premium Collection Box for the listed price of $240 AUD.

We understand by your example, that you may have seen some Ultra Premium Boxes selling for $800 on the secondary market. It is disappointing and disheartening to see that you have given us a negative review under this assumption that the reason why we could not fulfil your order, was in favour of making more money, rather than the fact that we simply did not have enough product available.

We recommend adding this item to your wishlist to be notified by email if we are able to restock it again in the near future. Keep in mind, the listed price for the Ultra Premium Box will, and has always been $240 AUD.

We sincerely apologise for the handling of our recent pre-orders in relation to the Pokémon TCG Celebrations release.

We understand that we had high expectations for this set release and gave that impression to our customers through pre-ordering on our website. We note that a lot of customers trusted us with their pre-orders, and in most cases, we were not able to fulfil every order we received. We also understand many customers missed the opportunity to order elsewhere through no fault of their own.

Moving forward, we have taken onboard recent feedback with regards to pre-ordering and are in the process of revising and improving our system to prevent such an issue from occurring again.

We realise that our pre-order method was not appropriate for the products we were offering and are making some changes. For example, reduce the pre-order timeframe on new release products and only offer what we are allocated at the time of advertising, charge customers at checkout to guarantee orders, and improve email communications with orders.

We're a bit confused with your review, as we have not taken any upfront payments for pre-orders since March 2021. If your review is in relation to the Pokémon TCG Battle Styles, we publicly apologised on 13 March as soon as we were notified that our allocated amount changed on us last minute (full post here: https://www.facebook.com/rarecandycollectables/posts/1175422799527652). We also issued refunds to customers immediately and did not delay its process, so our customers could order it elsewhere before Battle Styles became harder to get. Moreover, we changed our approach to pre-ordering by not taking payments or deposits, and only charge customers when we have stock.

If your review is in response to the new Pokémon TCG set Celebrations, we have not taken any payments for orders we cannot fulfil on release. However, we realised our no upfront payment or deposit pre-ordering was not appropriate for the products we were offering. Therefore, we sincerely apologise for the handling of this set release.

We understand that we had high expectations for Celebrations and gave that impression to our customers through pre-ordering on our website. We note that a lot of customers trusted us with their pre-orders, and in most cases, we were not able to fulfil every order we received. We replied to your email today outside of business hours explaining that we did not have enough stock to invoice you for Celebrations. We would also recommend that you check your junk/spam folder as our cancellation email had a message attached explaining that we were not allocated enough stock to offer it to you at the time of invoicing.
