Ravenair Flying School offers the highest professional standards with many years of experience in flight training, taking student pilots from their very first lesson through to their Commercial Pilot’s Licence, Instrument Rating and beyond. The company holds more UK CAA and EASA training approvals than any other North West organisation, and more than most training schools across the UK. Many of our students progress through the company as flying instructors and commercial pilots flying Aerial Survey and Air Charter before progressing onto airline careers.

Great Flying School

I have completed almost all of my flying training at Ravenair Flying School including PPL, hour building, Night Rating, IR(R), UPRT course, CPL and most recently the FI course, so i feel i can offer a broad overview of the company.

The quality of instruction has been fantastic across all the courses. It’s been great to learn from so many different instructors from a variety of different professional pilot roles. From current airline pilots to survey pilots; the shear wealth of knowledge and experience between the instructors as a whole is unbeatable!

Whilst daunting at first; flying in/out of Liverpool Airport in-between commercial jet traffic has been a really useful and enjoyable experience. From my very 1st PPL lesson I had to get used to not just a busy; but a highly professional aviation environment requiring precise R/T and good situational awareness. The school encouraged me to always aim for a professional pilot standard even at the very beginning of my training.

In short, I’d highly recommend Ravenair Flying School to anyone looking to pursue a career as a pilot. It’s a friendly, open and professional environment.
