Very nice watch, different from all the other major brands. Thank you!

REC makes very unique watches with bits of airplanes or cars or motorcycles built in. They use top movements and are very easy to deal with. I myself own about 5 of their watches with several on order.

While the watch was a bit delayed, they were communicative and responsive and when the product arrived, it looked perfect. I'd much rather have delayed and good than on-time and bad.

The watch looks fantastic and runs great. I was actually surprised by the accuracy as I was worried about that before delivery, but it's been great.

I ordered the Habu watch last year on pre-order, and have been waiting patiently and following RECs news and website regularly. The Habu watch was delivered a week ago and I must say it is TOTALLY worth the wait, and an amazing watch with an amazing story and history behind it. All of the materials, strap and packaging are absolutely first class. REC have my absolute admiration in a world where you can spend far more on a watch that is ordinary in comparison. I will regularly keep and eye out for any new releases REC have as I would 100% recommend them as a brilliant company who have delivered a unique product in a world where so many watches are all the same thing. Incredible job REC, and thankyou again!

A truly 5-star boutique watch brand, with an outstanding and unique timepiece from REC. My first, which won’t be my last.

Everything from the initial contact with the founders to find out more about the provenance of the timepiece materials (I bought the SR-71 Blackbird ‘Habu’ watch). To the design, the limited run number, availability of spare straps. The swift response to each and every query, excellent answers, top courtesy, superb knowledge and willingness to help.

The cleverly designing packaging, boxing and high quality inner case kick even Apple (in their heyday) into touch for presentation.

It’s how a luxury brand should be. And is not the level of service or response I have had from many much bigger, more famous haute horologie houses as a collector of over 25 special timepieces thus far.

The DNA concept of reusing pieces of legendary cars, planes, motorbikes et al is genius. One that can run and run into wider and wider mechanical and transportation fields. I look forward to what’s next.

The execution is flawless, and the actual quality of the watch is on a par with timepieces I own costing over twice the price.

The movements may not yet be as exclusive as the top tier “in-house calibres” from the usual suspects. But then neither are the prices! - And they are still high quality Swiss components.

I’m sure over the coming years with their much deserved success, REC will move toward even higher grade movements and maybe even get to the point of commissioning their own ‘manufacture’ exclusive calibre, which I for one would be more than happy to pay a big premium for, versus choosing from the rather generic array of over-priced ubiquitous fayre from the usual luxury brands.

I can only congratulate Jonathan and Christian for their hard work and innovation in creating a truly unique watch brand, AND backing it up with first class service. Well done!

Das Warten auf die Habu Armbanduhr hat sich wirklich gelohnt. Alles an der Uhr ist wie aus einem Guß. Ich bin stolz eine Uhr zu besitzen die ein Bestandteil der legendären SR-71 enthält. Mich hat dieses Flugzeug schon immer fasziniert.

Now I'm a happy double "offender". Wearing the X4009 Spitfire since 2023 I really like the idea of REC to combine a watch with a special story. Being an aircraft buff I could not resist to order the HABU SR 71 - and I have to tell you - just amazing. REC watches are made with greatest craftmanship and outstanding details. Hopefully the strap of the HABU will hold the promisses and I keep the REC team updated about the usage & wear. So "unfortunately" could not guarantee to not return again. Well done team REC - the waiting time was hard - but finally the REC HABU flies😉

Apart from a manufacturing issue causing a small delay but caused no worries personally. The watch received was worth the wait better than expected a comfortable and impressive watch on the wrist would use REC Watches again without a doubt

I’m really happy I got my watch, was very excited to get it.
The company kept me updated on my order status, even if there is delay they always email me to notify me when it will be delivered.
I trusted them, they made a really unique special watch, happy to have REC watch, won’t be my last for sure.

The main positive is the watch itself, that I think is a remarkble and well designed one. The usage of pieces of the Ayrton JPS it is a fantastic choice.
Then the box itself is a good experience to unbox and uncover all the history behind.

I first saw the watch on a Facebook AD, and it was a compulsive buy.
Often in that case you accept to compromise, and hope that receiving the item will at least meet expectations.
In fact were not only met, but exceeded.
From the first contact with the customer support to the actual management of my order, everything was well managed and proactive.
I've been asked if I wanted a particular SN, and that was granted.
Waiting was a bit longer than expected, but the reason was because of quality control and that is the best reason if you are talking of a limited edition item.
And the watch itself, a 98T/4 is actually very, VERY nice.
Besides the great thing of owning a piece of automotive history (albeit a hidden one in the rehaut fusion of a Senna Lotus F1 car's chassis) the watch is a beautiful one.
I have a fairly good watch collection, with the best pieces ranging from Rolex to TAG, from Hermes to Audemars Piguet, and this piece really holds its own in my watchboxes.
Great "in hand" quality, and visual perfection.
And the caliber is a great looking one.
So, I really recommend REC Watches.

Order a limited edition watch as a gift for someone.
A few delays and had to wait for watch to be delivered.
Quality of the watch and presentation is excellent. Could not fault a d pleased with my purchase

The dial is really well done. The feeling of the SR 71 definitely shows itself. The movement is beautiful. The strap however, in my opinion, was a bit of a miss. It feels like an afterthought and kind of looks like it. It makes the watch look super cheap and it does not "hug" the wrist very well. This is obviously a preference but if they did a steel band, it would have been stunning, absolutely stunning. I've been told this by my coworkers as well. They said the dial was striking until they focused on the strap and felt it was a let down. I have had this watch for a day and the stitching is already starting to fray.
So in conclusion, the dial is beautiful and, as a pilot and aviation enthusiast, it totally embodies the glory of the SR-71 but the strap makes it look like a cheap toy watch

I pre-ordered the V-Eight in January 2025 and it was due in June. It was a bit slow in arriving but landed in July well packaged and in a lovely presentation box.
When i opened the box I was presented with a lovely watch which looks really clear and crisp and has a nice smooth action. It is powered by motion and has a meter which looks like a fuel gauge to show how much power is left. Lovely watch which is a bit different representing American muscle cars from the 60's and 70's. I'm happy with my purchase ☺️
