Donna was a very good trainer. Hands on. Makes it fun.
A great 1 day Emergency First Aid at work course which was really well led by Trainer Donna Cabral
Donna was direct with her training methods and very knowledgeable but also made the day fun and enjoyable whilst learning.
I would highly recommend this course (1306832) and Donna as a trainer

"I want to express my gratitude to Donna - course ref: 1036832. Donna my first aider who provided exceptional training in the Harrow centre today. I was not too confident to begin with itâs been years since my last certification. At the end of the course felt if I was required to perform in an emergency; I would not hesitate. Her quick response and calm approach made a stressful situation much easier to handle. She answered all our questions with such knowledge and demonstrated a high level of skill and confidence, making sure that everyone was safe and well cared for. Not once did I feel singled out and treated every one equally in our class of 14. It was evident that she were well-trained and dedicated to helping others. I truly appreciate the fantastic assistance she provided. Thank you for being so amazing Donna!" We all passed!
Donna Cabral is an amazing teacher, she was really detailed in her practical work and she also has good banter.
Really enjoyed the course.
Thanks so much!
Donna Cabral she was ecently took a first aid training course with Safety First Aid, and I couldnât be more impressed. The instructor was knowledgeable and kept the class engaging with real-life scenarios. The hands-on practice made me feel confident in administering first aid in case of an emergency. Highly recommend this course to anyone wanting to feel prepared for any situation!â
It was a very well thought and organised course.. again as it was my second time coming here. Donna was a breath of fresh air and a pleasure to listen to and learn from.
Would higly recommend my colleagues to come and have their courses done here.
Donna Cabral was amazing! Direct, thorough & lots of humour to help with the learning process!
First Aid at work Donna Cabral 1307560 The course although only a few candidates was brilliantly delivered although we were only a small group which I preferred she made us work hard made it fun but engaging! we all took something extra away from this course and enjoyed getting our qualification
Donna the trainer was very professional, very informative and made the experience interesting
Completed 2 day First Aid at Work refresh under instructor Mr Smith. Have been doing First Aid now for over 2 decades, the instructor was one of the best I have had. He was clear, entertaining, knowledgable and put everyone at ease. Would thoroughly recommend.
Open smug condescension from senior staff ( Manager Lauren) in Southbourne Charity shop today. We pointed out a T-shirt we wanted was covered in short grey hairs on the collar which was soiled with a âtide-markâ : obviously unwashed. We asked if she could âtake something offâ whereupon the Manager, with a trite grimace replied âyes, a hairâ before plucking one off, casually dropping it and handing the garment back. Hardly the response one should receive in the charity sector in these days of austerity. Very disappointing from the British Red Cross. Is it their policy to sell soiled garments ? If they do, mores the pity. If they shouldnât, why didnât the Manager apologise and duly discount the T-shirt. Lauren list the sale and two customers today. I hope she reflects on how this impacts on those she ostensibly serves âŠ

What wonderful caring people, and its nice to talk to individuals with a Christian ethos, they work very hard and really care for their clients, my care was excellent.
Dunfermline store at duloch park
I was in store today and greeted by a big smile and friendly hello by a young man called Lewis .
The store was immaculate and cosy , it was frozen outside .
I shared my day with Lewis and he kindly listened .
What a lovely young man an asset to your team and a credit to the company
We donated everything to the Red Cross. Nearly new clothes etc very high quality coats etc from our deceased family. Advised they did not want anything from such a house clearance. We understood that if any item not fit for their shop it would be passed to another agency I.e Salvation Army, or help homeless etc. We were shocked to find out that they just throw things away to landfill. I complained direct to Red Cross stating many homeless, or people without anything would appreciate items. Surely they could give items away rather then send to landfill. I wrote to their head office. I was advised they only want high quality goods and anything else really not interested. I mentioned homeless people and need for thrift shops and they indicated this was no longer their priority. Concentrating on raising funds. They are a disgrace and people should be made aware of their policy on operating boutique shops rather than a genuine charity shop which could not only raise funds but support people from all walks of life. Will never donate again. They should be exposed for what they are.
Show me the in depth of an everyday first aid excellent training useful information and understanding the importance of everyday incidents in the workplace which will come in handy in life threatening circumstances thank you for the time and knowledge
Just been on a First Aid course in Blackpool, our trainer was Karl, what can I say, Karl was really good, explained everything in a way we could all understand. He made it enjoyable, encouraged us all to participate, and put us all at ease, best First Aid course iâve ever done.
Thankyou majd you was amazing and made the process of hiring my mum a wheelchair so easy id give you 10 stars if I could ðð€ââââââââââ
DOOR TO DOOR SCAMMERS ? ? "No Cold Calling Area" clearly signed on lamp posts in our Cheltenham area. Suspect canvassers unprofessional with "Hi Yah" approach and no offer of I.D. and when told it's a no cold calling area the two young women continued door knocking regardless as scammers do. Yes, they had tabards but so do the various scammers who frequent the area. The Police were too slow off the mark to confront them and the British Red Cross H.O. absolutely hopeless when we tried to ascertain authenticity.
I was a volunteer with the Red Cross Newcastle and trained as a first aider, then an enhanced first aider, on the ambulance pathway. Turns out though that a module critical to both the enhanced and ambulance routes, medical module, was only half-taught due to expediency so didn't count for the ambulance pathway and wrecked that - but did count, weirdly, for the enhanced first aider role for which I was sent out at a premium I guess for the BRC (not that I was paid). When I complained one manager mocked me for lacking observation skills (when surely being in charge of all this he'd know better than to send out unqualified first aiders in breach of contract and insurance) and the training manager told me to join St. John's. Really nasty little enterprise.
This wasn't in 2023 BTW, it was before, but it stems from an embedded cultural problem that without doubt extends across the entire organisation. Volunteers are 10 a penny, expendable, there to be used, shouted at, and blamed.
