Rebecca did a great job in giving information about First Aid. I feel much more confident that I would be able to offer practical help should the need arise. Rebecca was particularly good at encouraging participants to ask questions and then giving appropriate answers. Many thanks for a day which had a base expectation of ticking a box for attending a course, and ended up achieving so much more.

Awful don't work for them.....bullying culture, sexist...

Just completed first aid course with Rebecca from Red Cross,
She made it a very relaxed experience, this made it so much easier for everyone to learn and understand the content,

I made a donation and now get begging letters every month

No respect for privacy or data protection

Despite many complaints the letters still come

I attended the training in Portsmouth today and Sarah was absolutely fantastic. She is an excellent and motivated trainer who had the uncanny knack of retaining the attention of the class. She was a treat and above all of this, an extremely knowledgeable and passionate person. Thank you Sarah...I have learned a huge amount and feel much more confident in first aid after today. The British Red Cross are completely letting down refugees from Ukraine whom I am hosting. My Ukrainian family arrived with very little in April 2022 and the Red Cross were promising cash based assistance. We applied for funds in April and despite follow up phone calls nothing happened. We were advised to apply again in May 2022 and again there was no response. In September we received an email with a secure link to apply yet again and upload documentation for the third time. A week later in October 2022 an email from the Red Cross said that the application was rejected, with no explanation and no recourse to appeal. We did telephone the Red Cross to say what a shambles this was and the operative looked up our guest's name and said "I can see an application here from April - but nothing else".
This supposed support for people in need is certainly not happening in our case.

Rebecca ia a great trainer. She explains everything very well, it's easy to understand her, even for me that English isn't my first language.

Trainer Donna is an excellent trainer who takes time with her trainees and makes the days enjoyable.

Rebecca our tutor for the one day First aid course was a fantastic, patient and encouraging tutor. It was very interesting and I learnt so much. There was a lot to cover in a day and she made sure we covered all the required subjects ( and more). It was a nice small group and we worked well together. Rebecca was very knowledgeable, and was able to answer any relevant queries even if was outside the course structure. She left her contact number for me if I needed further help with a recent environmental health issue that I have been encountering at my workplace too. She definitely went the extra mile for us by bringing in tasty treats she had bought herself. That was a lovely thing to do. Thank you so much Rebecca for a 5* First Aid Course!

I attended a 3 day First Aid at Work course in Banbury. I've had many such courses over the years and Pete was an excellent instructor. Full of enthusiasm and he had a lot of knowledge and experience.

Why have I just had The Red Cross banging on my door asking for money?? No I don’t ‘have a few pounds a week spare’ to give to this lot, so the bosses can buy new Audi’s!! I thought there were laws against these lot being able to do this! The worst thing is is the girl pretending to do charity work, when we all know she gets a commission and 85% of all money evaporates through ‘admin fees’!

Excellent course .. Rebecca hucheson is Fantastic.. very knowledgeable an very helpful. I’ve had a great time ..would definitely recommend.

How can these people ask for money when they won't answer an email asking for help?

No reply to two emails, no aid, no advice............

This company runs millions through front rescue groups but where does it even go?

This company has millions yet asks for more and more yet doesn't help UK people, is it because of me being white or are they just rude or what?

Either way I would never give anything to them and would rather help a charity that helps save hedgehogs and other cuddly adorables.
