Redrockbookwriters has done a wonderful job copyediting and proof reading my manuscript. They improved my book jacket and have stayed in constant contact every step of the way. Chris Reed has done a wonderful job.

Don’t be swayed by any negative reviews posted here — my experience with Redrock Bookwriters, and especially with my assigned editorial advisor Sarah Collins, has been nothing short of outstanding.

From the very start, collaborating with Sarah and the editorial team has been a wonderful and empowering journey. While I still have a long way to go before my manuscript is complete and ready for publication, the weight of this undertaking feels quite a bit lighter knowing that Red Rock — and Sarah in particular — are walking it with me.

Their feedback has been constructive, honest, and deeply valuable. They recognize my writing strengths and authentic voice while also providing clear, candid guidance on where and how I can improve. A shout out to Redrock Book Writers; Especially to Sarah Colins, who patiently listened to my frustrations.

I felt a connection with her as she shared how her company had the Expertise & the patience, I required. Writing on a topic of Spiritual Fiction, when is also my Memoirs takes the right person to understand. I did make a few other attempts in which I was handed off to the wrong person several times. With Sarah Colins, she suggested that I have a conversation with 'Neil'.

In an earlier intent to submit & publish my manuscript, I found a was 'lost in the world of finding the correct path.

After my 1st book was published, I found missing information, multiple words misspelled, and 1/3 of what I had offered. I was told: "The rest will make a great 2nd book."

Perhaps, not with them. So, again searching for a publisher that can understand the content of my manuscript; A few missteps and I am happy with the initial results,

I have several other manuscripts I will be submitting to Red Rock.

This place is unbelievable. So first I talk to a representative via chat who is rude and disrespectful. He didn't read my texts as I gave him my availability to receive a phone call and he recommends a time i am not available. I had a review up about this but was persuaded by them to remove it. Then they insult my intelligence by sending an agreement/contract with NO PRICE LISTED ON IT. That would allow them to charge any amount they wanted. Unbelievable.

I worked with Neil Maddox to make my first book-writing dream a reality, and I cannot recommend him highly enough! From the very beginning, Neil seemed to understand exactly what I wanted, even when I couldn’t fully articulate my goals. He took my heart’s work, my manuscript, and, using what must have been pure magic, transformed it into something beautiful without ever changing the “heart” of the story.

I’ve been truly blown away by Neil’s professionalism, creativity, and passion. My project has required us to meet nearly every day, and every single time, Neil shows up with joy, enthusiasm, and genuine care. He listens to my ideas, takes them to heart, and brings my illustrations and vision to life in ways I never could have imagined.

The customer service at Redrock has also been phenomenal. The entire team has gone above and beyond to ensure my experience has been nothing short of amazing. Before finding Redrock, I’d had an unfortunate experience with so-called “editors” who didn’t care about me or my book, and it left me unsure if I would ever write another. But thanks to Neil and his team, I now know I will write another book, and I will absolutely work with Neil again when I do.

Red Rock made my 1st book experience a memorable one. I knew nothing about getting a book published. They and especially Maria Shen, guided me one step at a time through the whole process.
