UPDATE Oct 9 2026 - BLACKMAIL FOR REVIEW REMOVAL

After my review, A Regus Customer Representative from this company emailed me. He offered early termination on May 31 2026 and refund of 762.65 CAD if I remove my Trustpilot reviews.

His exact email says I must remove my reviews to get the refund and termination. He even said I can update to 3 or 4 stars instead.

When I asked about my 4900 dollar loss for 68 months and 758 dollar debt collector letter, he replied on Oct 9:

I am unable to accommodate your request to terminate without first addressing the Trustpilot reviews.

He also said my agreement stays until Feb 28 2027 and collections will resume if I dont pay future invoices.

This is blackmail. They send you to collections and then say remove your review and we stop.

I am filing this as a formal complaint to Regus and as a public warning to future customers.

*1. I PAID FOR 5 YEARS AND RECEIVED NO SERVICE*

I held a virtual mail address in Canada with Regus under the reference name "Online English School" for 5 years. The legal holder of the account is me, *Sahinhan Kutlu*.

For 5 years I paid at least $60 every month - over $3600 CAD total. During this entire time Regus provided NO service. My mails were NOT scanned to my email address and NOT forwarded to my physical address. I paid for a service that was never delivered.

*2. MY REFUND REQUEST IS MODEST AND YOU ARE DELAYING IT WITH A TRAP*

I am only asking for a partial refund of *$1128 CAD*, which is calculated on a very low basis of only $20 per month for failure of service, not the full $60+ I paid.

I filled and submitted your official LATAM refund form correctly on September 29th with my personal Canadian bank account:

Account Holder: Sahinhan Kutlu - Peoples Trust / Wise - CAD account - SWIFT: TRWICAW1XXX

Regus reply was:

> _"I noticed however that the bank details relate to your personal account and not for Online English School. The bank holder name must be the same as the Regus account holder name. Can I please ask you if you have an alternative bank account under Online English School?"_

*This is an impossible trap and you know it.*

*"Online English School" is NOT a company. It is just the mail handling name I gave you to receive mail.* It is not incorporated, it has no Tax ID, no business registration. No bank in Canada or the world can open an account under this name.

The real account holder has always been me, Sahinhan Kutlu. You collected payments from me personally for 5 years. Now for the refund you pretend there are "two entities" and ask for proof of relationship. There is only ONE entity: me.

This is a deliberate delay tactic to avoid paying the refund.

*3. YOU OWE ME MONEY BUT YOUR COLLECTOR HARASSES ME FOR MORE MONEY*

While you owe me $1128 CAD and refuse to pay it, your collection agency is still sending me disturbing emails demanding *$758 CAD* from me.

How can you demand $758 CAD when you provided zero service for 5 years? I dispute this alleged debt 100%. This is harassment.

*MY DEMANDS TO REGUS:*
First I sent them emails to cancel this account they did not do it since they use this tactics to keep me paying their service and even report me to debt collectors.No real cancellation has been made by formal mail by Regus.
No Communication has been made by Regus to cancel that Debt collector issue either.
A) Process my $1128 CAD refund IMMEDIATELY to my personal account under *Sahinhan Kutlu only*. If you add "Online English School" to the beneficiary name, My bank will REJECT the transfer. You must send it to Sahinhan Kutlu.

B) Immediately instruct your collection company to CEASE AND DESIST and withdraw the alleged $758 CAD debt. Confirm in writing that I owe $0 and that no negative credit reporting will occur.

C) Confirm in writing that my Regus account is closed with no further charges.

If this is not resolved in 5 business days, I will keep my Trustpilot review active, update it with this letter, and file complaints with the BBB and Consumer Protection BC with full payment proofs and all your emails.

I trusted Regus as a global brand. Your conduct is to charge monthly, deliver nothing, keep the deposit with fake admin hurdles, and then send collectors to demand even more.

-5 Years of Paid Services Never Provided - Regus Markham Virtual Office - Total Failure & Deception*

I used the Virtual Office and Mail Forwarding service at Regus Canada - Toronto Markham location for 5 uninterrupted years.

From the very beginning, our agreement was very clear: Since I am frequently outside of Canada for business, all mail coming to me would be SCANNED and emailed to me, and upon my request, all physical letters would be FORWARDED to me.

For 5 years, Regus charged me every single month for this service.

For 5 years, *NOT A SINGLE letter was ever scanned and sent to my email.*

When I was abroad and urgently needed my mail, they refused to scan it. They then told me "We don't have forwarding service outside Canada." They told me "Come here and pick up your mail physically" - which completely defeats the purpose of a virtual office for someone living abroad.

During those 5 years, there was an arrogant staff member at that location who did not even bother to reply to my emails regarding this issue.

I was extremely victimized. After this huge disappointment and because they never provided the service I paid for, I stopped the payments 6 months ago. I did not want to do business with them anymore.

And then the unbelievable happened: After I stopped paying, they forwarded ALL the mail that had accumulated for 5 years to my new address in Hamilton. This proves they had been holding my important mail for 5 years without ever scanning or forwarding it. Among them were very important and sensitive documents.

Not only did they fail to provide the service for 5 years, but now they sent me to a collection agency and created a fake debt of $738 for a service they never provided.

Regus defrauded me.

I will take them to court in the strongest possible way. I will not only refuse to pay this $738, but I will also sue to get a full refund for 5 years of service fees that was charged but NEVER provided.

Stay away from Regus Markham. If you are abroad, this service is a scam.
