Engineered for exceptional strength and comfort, the Reflections Bariatric Foam Mattress is our premium solution for individuals needing a firm mattress with robust support. Designed specifically for high-weight capacity and long-term durability, this mattress delivers uncompromising performance in both domestic and care environments. It’s also a highly practical mattress for single users in residential, supported living, or clinical settings where reliability is critical and the needs are specific. The firm foam core evenly distributes body weight, reducing pressure points while maintaining a stable, supportive sleep surface night after night.
With a 25cm deep profile and an ultra-resilient foam interior, this mattress is built to endure everyday use without losing its shape. Inside, a strong 60kg3 recon foam base provides the main support. This type of foam is commonly used in gym equipment and support cushions because it is firm, resilient, and made to handle repeated pressure. It helps distribute body weight evenly across the mattress, reducing the risk of dips and sagging over time.
The RX40 blue foam top layer adds a more comfortable feel above the firm support base, giving the mattress a steadier, more cushioned sleep surface without making it feel too soft. A 2000 compressed polyester pad adds further structure and resilience, helping the mattress keep its dependable profile night after night. Its firmness level helps promote spinal alignment and reduces motion transfer, key for those seeking a peaceful night’s rest. Encased in a breathable, hygienic cover, the Reflections Bariatric Foam Mattress is both practical and easy to maintain. For added protection, a Crib 5-rated waterproof mattress cover is available, offering enhanced hygiene and fire safety for care environments. If you're looking for a reliable, long-lasting option that supports higher weight requirements with ease, this is the mattress to trust.

The mattress is a little bigger than I expected my last king size mattress left a small gap inside the wooden frame of my bed however this one fits very tightly The mattress is very comfortable and the addition of the crib 3 waterproof cover gives me piece of mind that the mattress will stay clean in the event of any incontinence. I do have 2 downsides to the mattress when having the crib 3 cover on it. 1) there are no handles on the mattress to help with moving it or lifting the mattress to put bed sheets on and 2) there are no markings on the crib 3 cover so it’s difficult to know which way is the top and which is the underside to make sure we had it the right way round we opened the cover and compared the colour of the foam sections with the picture on the website.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We're sorry to hear that the Reflections Bariatric Mattress wasn't as comfortable as you had hoped.
This mattress is specifically designed to provide an extra-firm level of support for bariatric users, so we appreciate that it won't suit everyone's comfort preferences. Due to the high-density materials and reinforced construction used to achieve its strength and durability, it is also considerably heavier than a standard mattress. The weight of the mattress and firmness rating are all on our website to view prior to purchasing.
We appreciate your feedback and thank you for choosing us.
Very firm and supportive. A little expensive - but, quality comes at a price. It is very comfortable, though a stark contrast to it's aged predecessor, which has required adjustment on my part!
