Things were great for the first 2 years. Now money has disappeared. Stay away.

Still holding my money closing in on a month. This transfer was a purchase for my business and it's now really affecting my business since the product I paid for is not paid for. Not a small sum either.

Would not recommend this service at all. As other reviewers have mentioned, it started out with quick turnarounds, but has devolved completely. They take funds out of your account immediately and are "processing" them for 2 to 3 weeks.

I have a transfer from Canada to US and it is pending since for 4 weeks now?! Are you freaking kidding me?! Customer support is a joke and even if you get a representative - they don’t help! I will never use this service again.

i started 1 transaction on september 7 and still pending, every time i contact them said sorry will do today, i will withdraw all my money from the system, if they don't process asap i will call the police and report them to FINTRAC as scam

As some other reviews have said, don't trust positive reviews of the past, for the last few months they've become unusable. You initiate a transfer and 10 days later it is still pending, no actions, they will tell you "we're sorry, we're working on it" but nothing happens, they don't fulfill as promised, I visited their offices and found it's just a virtual address, no actual offices there, possibly they are insolvent and don't have the money to pay using customer funds. Get out immediately!

Ignore past good ratings of Remitr.com. They have gone to hell, it seems they may have been purchased and gutted.
Been a very happy customer for 4 years and have moved roughly 250K over 13 transactions in that timeframe.
When I started with them they were very responsive, they did all the due diligence to ensure we aren't criminals, all that you'd expect.
My last two transfers have been unmitigated disasters. 13 days after initiating the last transfer, with the dashboard showing transfer complete, and me telling the vendor that the money must be there because we received the complete email days ago and it shows as complete, I get a query from their support calling the info urgent, requesting proof of purpose of transfer, clarification of who we are (I guess 4 years of transfers to very similar companies isn't a history for them). I reply to the Urgent request and 12 hours later, even though I fully replied to them, they have yet to even confirm receipt of the documentation.
They used to have decent online chat... GONE
They used to have responsive email... GONE
They are now trash, don't trust them with your money. It's looking like there's funny business going on.

Network issues

I am trying to sign up today was told I can get my KYC done in 5 mins and then browse around the site while Remitr validates everything.

Well its been over 3.5 hours now that I am trying to register myself.

Doing some analysis I have a feeling they are under DDOS attack and have not been able to thwart that attack.

The assumption of DDOS attack is based on following observations:
1) Trying to simple login takes number of attempts to get in. Usual errors in the page are 503: Service unavailable. Back-end server is at capacity
2) After few tries one can login and than operations you try to do after login are failing with 503 or 500 errors, all of them referring to issues where servers are very busy.
3) It 10:40 PM EST there are no chance that server will be that busy at this hour due to normal business

Gives me jitters about network security. Not sure if I should risk my banking information here.

After few hours of this post the issues was resolved and I have increase star from 1 to 4. The team was responsive including there CEO,

My business is global in nature, and involves a lot of cross border payments across both developed and under developed markets. The cost of transacting, at times, can be prohibitive, given the high fees the traditional banks charge in order to execute, not to speak of the inconvenience/requirement that you have to visit the bank to get wires done.
I signed up with Remitr with some skepticism- wondering if they could deliver on the promises they were making. But did so nonetheless because the cost and convenience advantage benefits were too appealing to ignore.
I have used the service now the last six weeks. And while there have been some very minor hiccups, I am very impressed with the service.
I can send payments to clients and investors with the click of a button, from the comfort of my home- and at a fraction of the cost.
This service is incredible. And the team behind it is extremely responsive to customer needs. If you are in the market, believe there isn't a reason not to try this out.

It works.
Once your accounts are set up, it does what it is supposed to do, simply, efficiently and timely.
Impressive, and functional.

Very disappointed with the over promise and under delivery. Managing customer expectations is very important and when your website and team says that payments made on one day can be made the very next (as long as they initiated before a certain cut off time) and that does not actually happen - TWICE - is infuriating. Be up front. Under promise and over deliver = a very happy customer.

Once the initial setup was completed, the service worked flawless

I was looking for a service that could do international transfers with a minimal fee. Our company has used several different services in the past, and by far REMITR has had the lowest fees, and a great exchange rate. It is also very simple to use and to transfer money abroad.

Bad service, bad customer service. They didn’t make the transfer and didn’t return my money back

There were one or two glitches in the process, but the fact is I received GREAT support. Couldn't have been better!

I would only make a feature request: That you not delete the fee from the amount I am requesting to transfer. This is very confusing and messy for everyone. The fee would much better be *in addition to* the amount I am transferring.

Works great. Got the job done with no bank hassle

I use this for all our international payment needs like vendor payment, salaries and forex conversion. Very easy to use and payment is always fast and on time.

Remitr services are reliable, inexpensive. They operate in the majority of the markets, support by email and phone is provided trying to fulfill our requirements.

Worst experience ever. Did not process my transaction, did not respond to any of messages, and then all of a sudden I couldn't log into my account.

all good but wire transfer takes too long time to arrive to beneficiary.
