Spoke with Luke Thoroughgood at Rentokil about mould issues at my rental property. He had me booked in for a survey at the first possible availability. It was Luke who came to do the survey as well. He was very knowledgeable and thorough with his survey and made it very easy for me to understand his findings and report. My tenants mentioned to me after how professional and polite they thought he was as well. Very clearly know what needs to be carried out now to fix the issue.

Whilst Rentokil were renewing the whole of my ground floor as dry rot was everywhere, Dan Harper who is an excellent Rentokil surveyor found wooden pegs in the brickwork which another company had already treated for dry rot. This meant that the work I already was having done had to be extended into another job. This time it was much shorter. Again I was sent a great team- Jason Price, Callum Myatt and Alan Keeble. Each guy worked tirelessly and each did a great job. They really know how to work in a Team! Thank you Dan Harper again for your expert help and a gold medal to Jason, Callum and Alan! Well done Dream Team!

From start to finish, everyone was extremely helpful. Staff arrived on time and got the job done. When I didn't understand something, the surveyor was patient and explained everything. Very impressed. Recommend the company.

The workmen turned up on time and did great jobs. No hassles. The whole job was completed when i was told it would be. It was good to get a company who actually do deal with 'smaller' jobs unlike many who advertise they do but really are not interested.

I am most pleased with work recently carried out by Rentokil to replace a floor affected by wet rot in a bungalow we let out to tenants. Rentokil is not the lowest priced organisation but for me Rentokil's ability to supply and coordinate the efforts of half a dozen different specialists over the available period of three days, such that we could confidently schedule asbestos-safe cupboard removal; testing and certification; plumbing out; floor out; floor in; plumbing in during that time, made them very much worth, and more, their cost. I especially commend surveyor Sam Walsh; Carla Oddy and the contracts office folk; and Jonathan Jones + Jason Stowe and their teams who carried out the practical work. Many thanks.

I was very pleased with the service from Rentokil to treat a woodworm infestation which we recently discovered in our downstairs floorboards. The office team were very helpful in arranging the initial survey, particularly with regard to the fact that there was some confusion over the first payment which was quickly and efficiently sorted.
I was please that everyone turned up at the time arranged. Chris Breen was very knowledgeable and carried out a thorough survey, providing useful guidance regarding property maintenance including future damp prevention. The written report clearly stated what preparation would be needed prior to the treatment. Office staff were helpful in scheduling an appointment that was suitable for us, allowing time to make the necessary arrangements, particularly regarding overnight accommodation for our three cats.
Billy and Evert arrived promptly as arranged, carried out the work efficiently and left the floors clean on departure. I also received a courtesy call when they had finished so we knew when it was safe to re-enter the property.
The 30 year guarantee on the work is important, as this will provide peace of mind that there is no active woodworm infestation in the property.
We chose Rentokil to treat our woodworm as we felt they were experts in this field and we could trust them to carry out the work to a high standard. I am pleased to say that this was our experience with the company and I would highly recommend them in future.

Woodworm treatment carried out. Surveyor and Technician were both professional, polite and arrived on time. I was happy with what I saw of the work being carried out, but obviously had to vacate the property for most of the treatment time and some time afterwards. Communication with Rentokil was excellent.
My only niggle with the work is that the attic (flooring and insulation) wasn’t left quite as neat and tidy as it was before the treatment.
Regarding efficacy, I will have to wait until next year’s hatching season.

The surveyors, Sam Comer and Dan, came to carry out the review and were very efficient and thorough and friendly. They did a detailed survey of the whole property and provided a very reasonable quote to cure a long-standing damp issue throughout the property. Also some very good advice to resolve some minor issues which could be resolved by myself. Work commenced within 3 weeks of the survey, this gave me time to prepare 9 walls by removing the plaster myself in order to cut costs.
Sam emailed the Survey Report to me two days later for review. All great.

Over three days the work was carried out to high standards by three teams.
Day 1 - Matt and Maz did the initial treatment and preparation. Both were polite, friendly and hard-working to a high standard.
Day 2 - Andy and Jack applied the initial base to the membrane fitted prior to their work. Both were polite, friendly and hard-working to a high standard.
Day 3 - Andy White returned alone to apply the final coat of plaster and skim finish. Again he was friendly, polite and worked to an excellent standard.
The finish to the walls is excellent. The whole three days was an easy experience. At the end of all three days any dust and mess was cleared away.
In future in order to save wasting personal time and effort and money trying to solve any ongoing damp issues I would highly recommend getting the Rentokil experts in to resolve the issues. I wish I would have called them first before repeatedly trying and failing to resolve them myself. I would have saved a lot of time and money if I had called them years ago instead of the companies I used that failed to solve the problem.
I now have peace of mind knowing the job has been done right and issues resolved for good, together with a 30 YEAR GUARANTEE!!

Yes everything went well yesterday. Both technicians (James Fawcett and Tom Jenks) were courteous, polite and respectful of the property. They covered my cream carpet, moved some pictures to prevent damage and tidied up after themselves putting away the ladder to the loft and ensuring all was as it was. Excellent service. Thanks.
