Very limited restaurants are participating in their program in Orange County area. To make it more difficult, hardly any Indian are there. Their site is also more difficult to navigate compared to their competition

I have made reservations on the site several times, and it's always drama. Many times I can't get the restaurant calendar icon to work so I can proceed to make a reservation, but refreshing a few times will get it to work. Today was the absolute worst, with it not working at all. Am giving up and can hopefully call the restaurant to make it work
American Express Platinum & Resy Falls Short on $100 Offer
American Express Platinum offers a $100 credit to use Resy quarterly. In December, I made a reservation at the Hermitage Hotel in Nashville for Christmas Brunch. We arrived, the service was horrible (waited a long time to be seated with no one at the podium to welcome us & the waiter was non-attending, the food was horrible (cold, waterlogged). Jimmy the manager was the saving grace. He did the right thing and backed out our bill. However, I lost the $100 credit that was promised for using Resy. And Amex would not credit me. I will only use Resy to get my quarterly credit going forward and other reservation services like Open Table for all my other reservations. This is not cool. I used Resy. I did not get the credit. Period. It is not my fault the experience was sub par and the manager was a professional. If I would have had $1 go through I would have gotten my $100. Do I have to call the hotel and ask them to put back through a $1 charge? Not doing that. It's now a dead conversation. Shame on you Amex Platinum for not stepping up.
Resy booked us a closed restaurant at Christmas, away from home
We came from overseas for Christmas. Booked a restaurant that came up on a Resy list of restaurants open on Christmas. Received confirmation on 25 November, received notifications from Resy this week, just days ahead of our reservation. On Christmas Day we were dropped off with two hungry teenagers to a completely closed restaurant. We had to scramble to figure out somewhere open that could feed us right away so we could get to our 3pm event, in an unfamiliar city on Christmas Day (we did find a good place using google). I can't recommend Resy; the process was disappointing and caused us unnecessary anxiety (and money for a useless uber). If I have to do so much work to double check whether Resy has good information, I may as well book directly.

I cringe when the only way I can make a reservation at a chosen restaurant is thru Resy. Consequently I avoid those restaurants as much as possible. It just now took me 2 days and about 2 hours of my time to make a single reservation on Resyâs website. I have spent over an hour trying to update (unsuccessfully) payment info on my profile. Their website says its wants to hear from customers, but there is no way to contact them (unless you want to make a reservation.)

We tried to make a reservation through rest in app. Showed no availability but on resturants website plenty of availability so it is not accurate!
Absolutely the worst serice
Absolutely the worst dining reservation app! Time after time, with various restaurants, Resy doesn't recognize the code they sent me to be able use the site as a guest, then when I try to login it doesn't recognize the email or password I've set up. One of our favorite restaurants in Santa Fe finally switched to Open Table becuase of customer complaints with Resy. I end up having to call or email the another favorite restaurant for reservations because their Resy service doesn't work, which discourages me from dining there more often. Bummer!

Resy is an absolutely horrible app. Do not count on it when you are making a reservation. We made a reservation online and it was never put through to the restaurant so when we showed up we were SOL. Also if we hadnât shown up, it would have charged us $100 per person for our no-show which wouldâve been $400 in total. I get how this protects a restaurant but it is absolutely obscene for the consumer. American Express owns this app and I cannot believe they let it be this crappy.
Horrifically Frustrating Waste of Time.
Horrific navigation process to find restaurants in any given area. Very limited restaurant selection and virtually no familiar high-end, popular restaurants are supported by the app. Mostly an exercise in frustration and disappointment. Its like they took the all the superior features of Open Table and and deliberately destroyed them with this app.
No Support from Resy for unfair cancellation fee.
Forced by restaurant The Port in Harwich MA to use Resy to make a reservation for that night, literally 5 hours later. Needed to cancel 10 minutes later and received a cancellation charge of $100. The restaurant told us at 1:30 pm that the restaurant was "dead" and no trouble getting a table. This is unfair and a ripoff. No support from resy at all.Do not go to the Port or use resy!
