The products are hand-picked for a reason, and his outstanding service and deep knowledge base made the whole experience a pleasure. David even took the time to travel to my home (quite a distance from Lincoln) to install the HiFi system with fantastic care and meticulous attention to detail.

I inherited a Linn Sonek LP12, which had not been used for many years. I took it to David and he has fully restored it with painstaking care and attention (including sanding down and oiling the grooved plinth). He then helped me upgrade my system to achieve the best sound. It has been a pleasure working with David. He has great knowledge and experience, offers options and does not push you down avenues that will not work for you. I recommend him unreservedly. If you want top quality advice he is your man.

I’ve been buying hifi on and off for the past 40 years, and by far David at Revelation Audio is the most helpful, enthusiastic and accommodating person I have ever met, his knowledge of his products is without a bout superb, and he’s a really nice guy too.

We wanted to upgrade our Hifi and speakers. We researched and believed we’d found a model we wanted to listen to. Revelation Audio were listed as a seller but we had to make an appointment. We were nervous of a hard sell and kept saying to each other we wouldn’t be railroaded into something we didn’t want. We needn’t have worried. David made the process so relaxed and comfortable. There was no hard sell. David encouraged us to take some of our own music and we listened to it on our “chosen” system. Then we tried different speakers, a different Hifi unit and finally different speaker cables. We didn’t buy our original choice but something that we believe worked better for us. The sound was superb. The cost was reasonable. David delivered it and set it up, connected it to our WiFi, sorted out the registrations and made sure we knew how to play CDs and stream. We are over the moon with the sound and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend David and Revelation Audio. There was no hard sell, David takes time to listen and understand your requirements, he’s extremely knowledgeable and a thoroughly nice guy.

We were very pleased with our experience, great demonstration, enabling us to compare different systems. We are very please with our resulting purchase.

Finding David and Revelation Audio Lincoln ended months of searching for a music system professional who could advise on finding a quality successor to my sadly expired Meridien CD based system. Taking time out to visit my home to aid finding the perfect solution we successfully tried and tested the Naim Uniti Star. This remarkable piece of kit not only provides superb CD performance, but also online streaming services and streaming from music servers. David ensured that the Uniti Star knitted perfectly with the housing unit and speakers I wished to retain. And when I moved house a few months later, David turned out again to help move the system and ensure it was once again perfectly set up in the new location. First class service and attention to detail.

I arranged an appointment with David to audition a headphone amplifier and DAC to drive my Focal headphones. I found Revelation Audio in a Google search, and was impressed by how quickly David responded to emails and his willingness to advise. An appointment was made.

Revelation Audio is in a small pedestrian street just off the High Street. Beautiful old building, and the showroom is very nice indeed. Wonderful variety of top quality hifi. The amplifier was delivered later than hoped for (admin glitch at his supplier) but David worked to get it set up on time. He installed the Bluesound app on my iPhone and I logged in to Tidal through his network and listened to a playlist of songs / music I'd put together for the purpose. David just let me get on with it - he was there for questions and advice should I have needed him but there was no pressure to buy, just friendly advice and information. He's incredibly well-informed and knowledgeable. Thoroughly enjoyable couple of hours.

I bought the amp and sure enough, it's transformed my headphone listening. I was delighted by David's commitment to high quality advice, service, and hardware, I greatly enjoyed dealing with David and recommend you give him a call if you're in the market for top-quality hifi equipment or advice.

I am very pleased with my recent purchase from David, which is a Ruark unit. The sound is incredible. David was very knowledgeable and professional. David assisted in setting up the Ruark unit and very helpful in further assistance in how to navigate through the menu. I certainly will recommend David of family and friends. Excellent service.

Had an afternoon session with David yesterday to upgrade the system I bought summer of 24. Had an easy decision with his in depth knowledge and knowing wha I was looking for. Ended up buying the Goldnote PS5 and PSU5 to upgrade. Set it up! Awesome. Can’t praise David highly enough. Good man, knowledgeable, entertaining and very enthusiastic. Back again next summer for another upgrade! It’s addictive.

Having been a vinyl collector for around 50 years, it was time to update my hi-fi equipment. I made an appointment with David at revelation audio and he took time to explain all the options available to me and to demo various products. All this led me to make my choice and I’ve been delighted with the end results they couldn’t be more helpful and I’m now enjoying vinyl again with a higher degree of sophistication great service and great product. Visit Revelation Audio and you enter a hi-fi wonderland, David has a good range of systems on display and can arrange demo systems from his network of suppliers. David is very knowledgable and passionate about delivering excellent sound. I don’t really know much about hi-fi and so was gratified that David is also extremely patient and really good at explaining things.

To be honest I’d pretty much given up on listening to music and what I wanted from David was a cinema system. Our first visit was a couple of hours and David played some really interesting tracks on some cracking speakers, it turned out that in the dozen or so years since I’d engaged that music technology had come a long way. While we were there I was amazed by the style of the Ruark systems and we left that day having placed an order for the Ruark 810 radiogram and a recommendation for a high end streaming service. It was about this time that David started his weekly music recommendations which has opened up a whole new world of music to me. Who knew that Japanese Jazz fusion was a thing, let alone that I would quite enjoy it.

For my cinema room David didn’t just sell me some speakers he managed the complete installation of the room, this included installing hidden speaker cabling, hard wired ethernet, additional electrics and even hanging the huge flat screen TV. Once the infrastructure was in place the big day came and the speakers arrived, David spent hours setting up the system, and tweaking things that I didn’t understand and in doing so he has created a sound that fills the space and is totally immersive.

I am completely blown away by the cinema room, it ticks all the boxes I asked for and more. Movies are amazing, gaming is a whole new experience and the system and space look fantastic. What I didn’t expect is that I would find myself spending time in the room listening to the top ten experimental music albums of the year.

David at Revelation Audio Lincoln Ltd quickly established an understanding of our requirements and delivered a first class solution in terms of quality and value for money. Brought it to our home where we could assess its qualities in our own environment.

We wanted to be able to play out vinyl records but did not want a load of cables running into speakers etc so we thought we would go to Revelation audio to have a look at options, i.e. wireless speakers?

David (from revelation audio) listen to our needs and suggested a Ruark system. He demonstrated one that was set up in the shop and we listened to it and now two days later we have one in our kitchen and we can play vinyls to our hearts content.
