great experience with Maz buying a new car

After having trouble at another dealership, I came to Hyundai in Bognor Regis, and Maz Miah was absolutely fantastic. From the beginning of my car search to the day I collected my car him and sales manager Ben was amazing and both really looked after me :) Thankyou very much and definitely will recommend family and friends come here in the future!

Car was booked in to rectify a fault at Richmond Cars Bognor. As arranged my car was collected and a courtesy car was left for me. Later in the day I recieved a call to advise that the car had been repaired, but it was too late to return my car and that it would be brought back the next day. As promised, my car arrived mid morning the next day, and the driver took the courtesy car back. So I took my car for a drive to find that the fault had not been fixed. I called Richmond Bognor, to be told that the service department was busy and that I would get a call back - I did not get that call back (this was on a Friday) So I again called on Monday, to again be told service department was busy and I would get a call back - no call back. I went on the live chat, and left a message about the issue with my car - again no response. Really not happy at all, as my car still has the fault. Genesis GV60, booked in 30 October 2025.
UPDATE 11 November 2025
I have another booking to hopefully rectify the fault, not until 27 November though. But hopefully this will cure the issue with my car. Just a shame that it took a bad Trustpilot review to get things moving.

The customer service we received from Maz Miah was exceptional and really made us feel valued as a customer.

Maz at Hyundai Richmond Bognor was 10 out of 10 in his expertise, communication, friendliness and looking after us.
I will be going back to request Maz to purchase another car.
Very professional, approachable and patient with any questions asked.

I recently purchased a Hyundai from RMG. I have to say the process was seamless from start to finish. Ben W and Finley M were two exceptional young men and very professional salesmen. No forceful extras, simply explaining what is available leaving the choice up to me. Communication from Ben Has been outstanding even to the level he responded to a query on his day off late in to the evening.

If you're gonna get a new car, I would highly recommend the Bognor Branch.

Great experience dealing with Ben from sales. From first contact Ben was helpful and professional gave me all the information I required, and sent me a filmed walk around the car. Arranged a test drive the next day, on arrival car was ready and getting going was straight forward. Ben was able to give clear answers to my questions and was helpful throughout, including part exchange. Agreed to purchase the car and collection was seamless and car well prepared. He went out of his way to help out with everything i needed, communication was brilliant and was the perfect salesman. Highly recommended.

We dealt with Finley who was very friendly, polite and easy to talk to. He made us feel at ease and nothing seemed a problem for him. He was very enthusiastic about the product he was selling and we didn't feel at any stage pressurised into making a decision too soon.

Was a very easy and smooth service from choosing the car, to buying the car - all the sales people was great and very helpful.
Communication by emails was perfect.
A little disappointed as the valet of the car was not very good - think it was being rushed through, so not very clean inside.

Went to do a test drive, and came out 2hrs later with a superb car. Thanks to a lovely young salesman Benjamin WAWMAN, extremely professional and helpful. Ben really made sure the all process was smooth with out putting any pressure on the sale . He sorted straight away couple of minor issues with the car . Ben is certainly a credit to this establishment with the way he approached us and looked after us ..5 stars is well deserved. I do hope he'll still be there in a couple of years when we'll return to buy another Kona ..thank you 🙏

During the sales process everyone at Richmond Hyundai was friendly and helpful, but unfortunately once the deal was done the customer service completely disappeared.

I purchased a car from them to work as a taxi driver, and they gave me a green slip with a black bar across it, leaving me unable to use it. Instead, they applied for the logbook through the Post Office — the slowest method — and after over a month I am still without it. This has left me unable to work for 4 weeks.

Worse still, despite their promises to help me, they have now stopped replying to my emails. This lack of professionalism has caused me serious financial loss and unnecessary stress.

I am escalating this matter to the Motor Ombudsman and Trading Standards, as no customer should be treated this way.

Friendly faces at the point of sale are meaningless if the aftercare is this poor. Avoid this dealership if you want proper service and support.

This is my first time getting a car and maz Miah has been exceptional, he answered each and every question and made us feel confident and comfortable throughout the whole process, making sure we knew exactly what we are getting and taking the time to help us with our needs, I am very happy to say we are very confident and would definitely recommend this place thank you maz, just a quick update all the staff and team are polite and friendly and non judgmental of your situation I am so relieved and we are very happy with the new car thank you for all your help maz and making the whole process easy to manage, 10/10 service 🙂
