Biggest SCAM!!! We arrived in the evening in Antalya because our flight was delayed. We go every year to Turkey and every year we take a rental car. Never had any issues.. until we rented a car with “Right Cars” or also under the name (office) “Zezgo Car Rentals”. They picked us up at the airport, 45min to late, and they drove us to a abandoned street to their office. They had a huge list of prices when sometimes breaks down on the car. When doing the arrangements for the deposit, they claimed our credit card wasnt working. Weird because we use this card every year for deposit. Only option was to pay this cash, which we didn’t do.
They claimed we need a local insurance because a global insurance wasn’t enough.
They left us stranded in the middle of a abandoned road at 1:00 in the middle of the night. We had to take a taxi back to the airport.
Conclusion: AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!

Ich kann nur jedem empfehlen, hier nicht zu buchen. Erstmal wird versucht, einem eine Versicherung für 168€ aufzuschwatzen, da angeblich die in Deutschland abgeschlossenen Versicherungen nicht ausreichen. Nachdem wir es abgelehnt haben, würde die Dame pampig und sehr schlecht gelaunt. Das Highlight war die Bezahlung der Kaution. Kreditkarten mit Debitfunktion werden nicht akzeptiert, sodass man gezwungen wird, die Versicherung abzuschließen, da man sonst das Auto nicht bekommt. Die Dame ließ nicht mit sich reden und hat den Vertrag vor unseren Augen zerrissen und uns nicht mehr beachtet. Sowas habe ich davor bei Autovermietungen auf Kreta noch nicht erlebt. Mussten leider den Wagen nehmen, da zu der Zeit kein anderes Kfz verfügbar war. Dafür mussten wir 100 € in bar hinterlegen und die Versicherung für 168 €, bezahlen. Komischer Weise wurde hier die Kreditkarte akzeptiert. Die ganze Abwicklung war übel launig und in keinster Weise kundenorientiert. Und bitte auch keinen Sand im Auto hinterlassen, sonst zahlt man noch mal 80€. Definitiv lieber mehr zahlen, aber einen besseren Anbieter wählen. Dieser hat nicht mal einen Stern verdient. Nie wieder!

Car hire was different and much smaller than the one promised. When going through paperwork they told me the deposit would be taken and not just held but I would get it back within 28 working days. With no alternative and children with me I had to proceed. 6 weeks later I have still not got my deposit of €1000 returned and I have not had any response from any emails I send. Hugely dishonest company

Terrible experience with Right Cars.
We were given a diesel car, which has never happened to me with other rental companies across Europe. Not only are diesels more polluting, but the car was clearly not a recent model. During the trip, the DPF warning light came on several times – a problem typical of older diesel cars. The interior also showed signs of wear, which is unacceptable considering that rental cars are usually expected to be new or at least modern.
To make matters worse, there was a notice inside the car forbidding sand or wet clothes. Completely unrealistic, especially on an island known for its beaches!
The worst part happened when returning the vehicle: after refueling, the fuel gauge did not move up. When we reported tu to the receptionist, she said it was “normal” and told us we would lose our €100 deposit unless we filled up again. We were forced to refuel once more, ending up returning the car with significantly more fuel than it had when we first picked it up.
I have traveled all over Europe and never had such a bad rental experience. Strongly advise against using Right Cars.

Right Cars Vehicle Rentals'tan Carjet.com üzerinden bir araç kiraladım. Teslimat sorunsuzdu ve araç iyi durumdaydı, ancak aracı sözleşmeye uygun şekilde (hasarsız ve personel onaylı) iade etmeme rağmen, 650,00 € tutarındaki kautionsu iade etmediler.

Sözleşmeye göre kautionsu 28 gün içinde iade etmeleri gerekiyordu – bu gerçekleşmedi. Birden fazla e-posta ve yasal işlem uyarısına rağmen, Right Cars haftalar sonra ancak standart bir yanıt verdi ve çözüm sunmadı.

Araştırmalarıma göre: Bu istisna değil, bir sistem. Right Cars, kautionsu tutmak için müşterilerin iletişimsizlik ve yasal süreçlerden çekinmesinden faydalanıyor.

Sonuç:

· Ucuz fiyatlar, ancak kautionsu geri almak neredeyse imkansız.
· İade sonrası iletişim yok.
· Müşteri hizmetleri sadece ödeme öncesi var.

Right Cars'tan kiralamayı düşünenler, kautionsu için uzun bir mücadeleye hazırlıklı olmalı – ya da doğrudan güvenilir bir şirketi tercih etmeli.

Booked a car in advance through Economy Bookings, paid upfront incl. full insurance. On arrival we were told we had to leave a €900 card deposit. Our card works globally, but the terminal “failed” several times. Our bank confirmed no payment attempts were made. We even tested the card at a nearby shop – it worked! The agent refused to give us the car unless we paid for extra insurance in cash (£220!). At 6am, exhausted, we had no choice.

They even have a policy of giving you the car with an empty fuel tank, and you’re expected to return it empty as well – absolutely ridiculous!

Reading reviews later, we discovered others had the exact same experience – clearly a systematic scam to force unnecessary payments. This is unacceptable. Avoid this company at all costs unless you want to be extorted on arrival.

Rented from Prague airport.
The car was exactly the one that I ordered (Octavia), clean, new.
Next day after returning the car we received a confirmation mail that no damage was found and everything is OK.
The service was good, the staff is professional.
I liked less the fact that they don't have telephone support 24/7 for case that something happen, but only the insurance company can answer you at not business hours.

Je demande de voir la voiture avant de paiyer puis souprise Voiture deguelase avec réservoir vide et vollant moteur allumé. Franchement je du annulé pour évite de me faire arnaque 900 boule comme le reste de personne qui vit là-bas

Achtung Betrug!
Hier wird einem auf aggressive Weise eine Zusatzversicherung angedreht. Verweigert man diese werden alle möglichen Steine in den Weg gelegt. Man hat dann plötzlich unsere Kreditkarte nicht mehr akzeptieren wollen, obwohl diese den vorher kommunizierten Kriterien entsprach.
Bloß nicht hier buchen. Wir konnten zum Glück noch vor Ort bei check24 stornieren. Eine Meldung beim Tourismusministerium haben wir ebenfalls veranlasst.

Dont rent any car with this company!! They cheat you just to force you to pay an very expensive insurance with them, otherwise they dont give you the car. Dont matters if you have a credit card for deposit. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

I hired a car last summer from RC Zadar. When I returned, they found a scratch under the front bumper, which I don't think it was caused by me. I had to pay over £450. One advice for everyone: when you get your car, take 15 minutes of time and make pictures of EVERY detail of the car - inside and outside so that you can prove that everything was ok when you return it. If you do not, you WILL be charged for every little scratch, even if it was there before!

0 Sterne. Meine Visa Karte wurde als nicht geeignet eingestuft obwohl alles im Voraus bezahlt (360 Euro). Fahrzeug Abholung möglich NUR wenn noch 240 Euro im Bar mit einem neuen Mietvertrag. Sonst wird anderweitig vermietet. Die Damen am Schalter sind sehr versiert und wissen genau was sie tun. Die andere Kunden wurden weiter bedient und mir wurde die Aufmerksamkeit entzogen. Sobald ich gefragt habe wie lange es dauert wurde blöd angeguckt und mit unhöflichen Ton gekontert. Es kammen Bedrohungen dass ich das Fahrzeug nicht kriege wie zu einem kleinen Kind. Ich wäre der der was falsch gemacht hatte. Der Berater vom Easyjet Carrental durch dem ich das gebucht habe konnte mit denen auch nichts klären. Mir wurde mitgeteilt dass ich akzeptieren muss dass mein Geld weg ist!!! Leute vom Rightcars, wünsche euch nur solche Erfahrungen und nur solche gute Angestellten, wie die vom Flughafen Heraklion. Reklamation bringt auch nichts. Es wird angegeben dass ich am Abholungstag nicht anwesend war. So mietet die Firma das Auto weiter mit doppelter Gewinn.

When they say there “may be extra fees”, believe them! We ended up paying more for our rental car than the major carriers that would’ve been more convenient at the airport vs going via shuttle offsite. So be careful and don’t believe the low price deal you see online. It’s a trick!
The car was full of damage and it was filthy on the inside. When you get to the location you basically walk into this closet and talk to a guy over a computer screen which didn’t really bother me, but they don’t really go over all the paperwork. They just have you sign the screen and then at the very end when you think you were just about done, they tell you what the price is and your eyes will pop out of your head. they just shrug their shoulders. They say well if you would have read her disclaimers, it does say there may be extra fees… Then they give you a code and you have to go get your keys out of this little box in the entry. It wasn’t the easiest thing to find the car and then you’re supposed to take pictures of any damage that you see. I took over 20 photos because after my experience on the inside of “the closet“ I felt like this would be the kind of rental place that if a grain of sand hit the car, they would charge me for a new paint job. Beware! I wish I would’ve read the reviews first!!!

TLDR; The pick up experience was horrible and they did not return the 900 EUR depost.

Long version: I rented a car in Izmir airport and had paid for it online. In the airport, it took them a very long time to bring the car and even then, it required us to travel with them to a remote store.

The worst part was that they charged us 900 EUR as deposit stating that they would refund this after returning the car. The refund never happened. I contacted them a few times but there was no response. Eventually, I had to dispute the charge through my credit card company.

No shuttle as promised , I even called, cost $20.

Extra hidden fees even though I have my own insurance which is bs - they call it admin/insurance waiver fee. $64.95 and I had to argue to get it down from $95. Plus $400 deposit.

Took them over half an hour to get me a car cause there is no live person, only a computer to talk to some guy in the Philippines

I booked a pre-paid car rental through Car 8. The company they made the deal with was Right Cars at the Orlando airport. The low price seemed too good to be true, and it was! First, they get you away from the airport and that's when the SCAM begins! When I arrived to pick up the car, there were no live agents, just a screen and camera. I was told that my credit card could not be used to secure the rental as "Miguel" stated it was a pre-paid card. It was not. Then, he said I would be required to purchase THEIR insurance and Toll Pass, neither of which are required by their lengthy rental requirements, which I pointed out in the printed agreement, along with the credit card letter they required showing that insurance was covered by the credit card company. I was then told Right Cars wouldn't accept it and wouldn't rent me the car, even though all of their requirements had been met! After some choice words to "Miguel," and a second attempt to speak with another Right Cars representative, I found myself stranded and luckily, was able to convince another shuttle driver to return me to the Orlando airport, where I was able to rent a car from AVIS without the "bait and switch" BS I experienced from Right Cars. I don't fault Car 8, but they should be made aware of the fraudulent practices of Right Car and refuse to send people to get scammed by them! There is NOTHING right about "Right Cars!" AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Keine Abholung am Flughafen wie angegeben. Unternehmen muss erst angerufen werden das jemand kommen muss. Dann wird vor Ort unsere Kreditkarte nicht akzeptiert und Barzahlung abgelehnt trotz Zahlung per Cash laut Webseite möglich. Wir werden abkassiert mit 240€ Zusatzkosten für eine angebliche Versicherung da die Karte nicht korrekt sei. Leider kommt man von dort nicht mehr ohne Auto weg. Also keine andere Wahl. Das Auto entspricht nicht dem gebuchten und fällt halb auseinander. Während der Fahrt gehen dann noch die Kontrollleuchten an. Katastrophe

Appalling; no one from right cars met my family of two young sons and wife on our arrival at Dalaman airport, and no answer to my numerous phone calls. My young family were traumatised by the experience. I had to get a taxi to my hotel. No answer to my numerous phone calls to right cars the next day. Eventually the Turkish hotel owner got through and the (quite hard to believe) excuse that" they had an accident on in the way to the airport was the reason and that "they now had no car to rent to us". I am still bewildered as to why they did. It answer my 20+ phone calls to see where they were.

A shambles from start to finish! So let down by them. Stay WELL clear.
