Home Emergency no phone number?
Just took out cover for my BTL property and I added âHone Emergencyâ as an extra cover. When trying to find the number to call on their 44 page document it doesnât seem to exist? I called operate number that are on the document and they donât know either and I am awaiting an email back. Not a good start. May have to cancel if I canât the number to make a claim.
Update 12th May:
I have cancelled this policy but unfortunately have now been charged a £50 admin fee.
Your reply to me asking why, as I have a 14 day cooling off period was this:
âAs per our term and condition there is a £90 cancellation (£50 if cancelled within 14 days from commencement).â
My the main issue with this being the key wording on your document is "£50 if cancelled within 14 days from commencement"
The cancellation clause refers to cancellation within 14 days from commencement. My policy had not commenced when I cancelled.
Needless to say I am very glad I didnât buy insurance from you.
Complaint has been sent and review downgraded to 1 star from 3 to reflect this.
