Do not order anything from this company!! I ordered two items and returned them as they were terrible quality. I stuck the invoice to the outside of the parcel with very strong tape, as requested. The lady in the shop where I dropped it off confirmed the invoice was attached. Now they are saying it is stuck at customs as the invoice is not attached, they are returning it to me for me to send back (with the invoice that I don't have) at my expense!!! Including customs expenses! I will end up nearly £100 out of pocket, how can they get away with this?!
Bad customer service
If I could, I wouldnât even give one star.
When I made the purchase, I was never informed that refunds were not allowed.
When I went back to the store, they only told me that exchange was possible but refund was not.
This is extremely unfair to consumers and does not protect consumer rights at all.
100% do not recommend this store, and I will never go back again.

20+ years of loving this company, sad to see it following the trend of way too many brands where they reduce the quality of its products to being totally useless while keeping the high prices and having the policies blame the faults on the customer. I bought a $220 watch that has no smart technology. Its just meant to tick and be waterproof. 1 week after buying and not even getting to the beach/pool yet and theres water in it. Ripcurls policy is that its my fault the damage occured and instead of replacing it they'll "kindly" send it to get repairs, ive been waiting 2 weeks and still heard nothing from them, i called the other day and they said they just received it in the post.

I guess once yoy are a big shot you can do what ever you want, i just cant believe the response i just got from thier customer service. I am a 60 year old male who does very well and dont even care about what things cost. this last week when i was at a vacation and had packed one of their swim trunks i realizeed the crouch area of the swim truck had busted open. this was not a swean as it was an infused process to keep this area together. I just could not believe that swim trunks that are suppose to last under a lot of differnt weather and watera nd activitiy situation had come apart like this. I could have easily thrown these away but due to the curiosity of the manufacturing defect, i tried contacting them and all theiy had to say is that we stand behind our warranty for 3 months???? that was their answer to . this shows me these guys are all about $$ in their pocket. dont buy their product

What in the world I have to send them the photo of my ID??? It doesnât make any sense at all! Like is it even legal that they want my ID?! Again this is online shopping, if it was in the shop I have no problem to show my ID, i get it, but when itâs online purchase and I am providing all the information needed like the order number, address, my full name why the heck youâre asking my ID?
They say theyâre trying to protect their customers from fraud! From what fraud? Am i asking smbâs credit card?? I get it if I wasnât giving them my name or address or order number, but I was giving them everything then what fraud are you talking about?? DELIVERY DELAY / LOST EVERYTHING
I MADE A PURCHASE OF US$ 472,85. TO BE DELIVERED IN TO 2 DAYS. I SENT SEVERAL EMAILS WARNING THEM ABOUT THE DEADLINE, IF IT WAS DELAYED THEY COULD CANCEL. THEY MADE THE DELIVERY AFTER ALMOST 5 DAYS AND I WAS NOT ABLE TO RECEIVE IT. THE STORE CHARGED ME IN THE SAME WAY AND THE ORDER WAS NOT DELIVERED TO ME. EVEN THOUGH IT WAS THEIR MISTAKE FOR THE DELAY IN DELIVERY. I LOST THE ENTIRE PURCHASE AND PAID FOR IT EVEN WITH SEVERAL NOTIFICATIONS.

Definitely not worth the money paid for a bikini top only 2 years ago. Worn once and only around house. Never swam in it, clips broken and gone green. Wasted money. Thanks Rip Curl.

I bought a ripcurl flashbomb (£434.95) in nov 2020 and by oct 2021 the zip had broken which was repaired under warranty.
The wetsuit had a more use in the first year and less use in subsequent years due to a lack of wind to windsurf.
The zip has now broken again in exactly the same way and is out of warranty so I'll have to pay for the repair.
Comparatively, I have an O'neil wetsuit that's 15 years old and the zip still works like it did when i bought it and friends of mine have wetsuits from brands like Dakine, Neilpryde, Xcel and C-skins and they haven't had these problems.
TLDR: If you buy a ripcurl wetsuit, expect to pay for zip repairs every couple of years on top of the £435 you paid for the wetsuit!
I can't recommend ripcurl and I certainly won't be using them again!
Ripped off by Rip Curl
After my repaired Rip Curl watch stopped working, I contacted Rip Curl 4 weeks ago as the watch they repaired exactly 2 yrs ago has stopped working. No reply. No follow up. And no way for me to phone them and speak to a living person. I rang Rip Curl Adelaide..." We are a franchise, we don't have a direct number". I finally tracked down someone in another store willing to share a contact number. Spoke to service centre Woman and she states that Rip Curl give their batteries 18 months. At $50 a pop (for repairs), that means Rip Curl expect you to give them $33 every year for the life of your watch. Effing crooks. I'm throwing the watch away as Rip Curl needs to cease circulation. I also boycotting this once great Aussie company indefinitely. A horrid experience all round.
No tide information after a few years
Only useable for a few years, because tide information is not stored for longer in the future. You can send it to Rip Curl for updating, but that would cost more than the watch itself. I guess this is another case of planned obsolesce. Very disappointing.

I would give zero stars if that was an option. This used to be a reliable company to deal with online. Now they are horrendous. I ordered a pair of wet gloves online and I received no email confirmation of the purchase nor at tracking number. Thereâs no email from them in my junk or spam folders. Their phone customer service has very limited hours of operation and they take a long time to answer the phone. it turns out my online order was successful, but I spent hours trying to deyermine if this was a fraudulent transaction but itâs simply a transaction from a company that doesnât have reliable web service. Their customer service represented confirmed to me that she often speaks to customers who made an order online, but never received an email confirmation nor a tracking number. If you like their products, I would suggest purchasing from a local brick and mortar store.
