Don’t buy it!!!
Don’t buy it! The wristband wouldn’t fasten and the company used the delaying tactic of asking me to post a video of me trying but failing to put it on, which is laughable! They used tactics to put me off continuing the complaint. They stonewalled for days pretending to “absolutely understand this frustrating experience” and being “committed to resolving this issue”. But it turns out sending it back is at your expense, and they would not accept it unless I had the original packaging which I never thought to keep. They offered to swap it for the better model of a strap rather than bracelet wristband, which they never offered in the first place. They first came up with a 30% refund of the device with no need to send it back, then increased it to 60% 45 minutes later, then reduced it to 50% the next day. But that did not include the extra shipping insurance or shipping itself which they only mentioned on checkout when I was buying it. They are based in Texas so are not subject to British consumer law. If you’re in the UK, look for UK outlets so you are covered by these laws designed to protect you. This outfit’s behaviour is outrageous! There are other models out there and companies whose sales techniques, unlike Rise’s, are completely transparent.
