In case of delayed delivery, passengers must go to the airport's Lost & Found immediately and keep all receipts for essential purchases made while the baggage is missing.
Once the baggage is delivered, it is essential to inspect it for any damage.
If itâs damaged, you must report it to the courier immediately â this report is necessary to submit a formal claim.
According to the Montreal Convention, the claim must be submitted within 7 days of receiving the baggage.
If an airline gives a longer deadline, please know that this is not valid under international law.
In your specific case, you contacted us when the legal deadline for delayed delivery and damage claims had already passed.
You reported expenses of â¬150, but submitted receipts amounting to approximately â¬120.
Despite the limitations, our legal team managed to recover ⬠300 on your behalf (less our commission) â not ⬠200 as you stated.
