I booked a flight through Cheap
Fly Shop with Jordanian
Airlines, scheduled for April
2025, flying from Heathrow
Airport to Erbil Airport.
Unfortunately, my husband
suffered a sudden and serious
heart attack, which led to him
needing emergency triple
bypass surgery. This completely
unexpected medical emergency forced me to cancel my travel
plans.
I fully understand that the
ticket was non-refundable. I
wasn't expecting a full refund-
but I did hope for some basic
compassion or flexibility. I
reached out to both the travel
agency and the airline,
explaining the situation and
offering medical documentation.
What I received in return were cold, dismissive responses and absolutely no
effort to support or assist
during a very stressful time. I wasn't asking for special
treatment-just a little human
understanding. A credit, a
rescheduling option, or even a
sympathetic response would
have meant something. But
unfortunately, I was treated
like just another booking, not a
person facing a genuine crisis.
This experience has left me
deeply disappointed in both
Jordanian Airlines and Cheap
Fly Shop. Emergencies can
happen to anyone. How a
company responds in those
moments says everything.
I won't be booking with either of
them again-and I urge others
to consider how they might be
treated if the unexpected
happens.

Very old airline shaking I was worried about the cabins part falling over our heads, no good service and very little portion of food, no offering coffee or tea.
Delayed from Heathrow around 45 minutes,
When we arrived transit quickly they gave us vouchers which you couldn't redeem it. I got diabetes and High blood pressure

The Amman airport is just rubbish no good foods, there pizza is tortilla with cheese on it crazy, expensive than UK

إلا أننا تفاجأنا بمنعنا من الصعود إلى الطائرة بحجة أن الرحلة قد بلغت طاقتها الاستيعابية القصوى، وهو أمر غير مبرر وغير مقبول، خصوصًا أن إجراءات السفر قد تم استكمالها بشكل طبيعي حتى لحظة الوصول إلى البوابة.

ما زاد من استيائنا هو الأسلوب الذي تم التعامل به معنا، حيث تعرضنا للإحراج أمام المسافرين الآخرين، دون تقديم أي توضيح مقنع أو بدائل فورية، مما انعكس سلبًا على تجربتنا مع شركتكم وأثر بشكل مباشر على التزاماتنا الشخصية والمهنية.

نلتمس منكم فتح تحقيق فوري في هذه الحادثة، وتزويدنا بتفسير واضح حول الأسباب التي أدت إلى هذا التصرف، كما نطلب الاعتذار الرسمي والتعويض المناسب عن الضرر المعنوي والمادي الذي لحق بنا نتيجة هذا التقصير.

Royal Jordanian Gave Me Nothing But Disrespect

I booked a flight from the UAE to Syria via Amman. The entire itinerary showed airport-to-airport travel, clearly advertised as a full flight route. At no point did it mention that part of the trip would be by bus.

When I arrived at the airport, I was shocked to be told the Amman-to-Syria leg was by bus. This was never communicated to me. When I expressed concern, they canceled my entire booking on the spot.

I received no refund, no assistance, and was treated with complete rudeness and indifference.
No apology. No responsibility. Just “leave.”

This is not how a professional airline operates. It felt like a scam.
I advise anyone considering Royal Jordanian to think twice — your money and dignity are at risk.

Rj112 London to Amman , my seat , I could feel the plastic on my back. Foam worn away. Ain’t a Dreamliner. Our row of 3 , none of the usb chargers and the below seat plug adaptors worked and others said the same. Such slow service in every thing

قبل شهرين، حجزنا معهم رحلة من برلين إلى دمشق مع ترانزيت في عمّان، وكان من المقرر أن تكون الرحلة بتاريخ 02.04،يعني بعد يومين. منذ ذلك الحين، تم تأجيل الرحلة عدة مرات، لكن المشكلة ليست في التأجيل فقط، بل في أن التغييرات تتم على جزء من الرحلة فقط!

مرتين على الأقل، قاموا بتغيير توقيت الرحلة من عمّان إلى دمشق، بينما تركوا توقيت الرحلة من برلين إلى عمّان كما هو. وهذا يعني أن المسافر يصل إلى عمّان في يوم، ثم يضطر للانتظار حتى اليوم التالي للسفر إلى دمشق! لا أعلم كيف تم التخطيط لهذا بهذه الطريقة غير المنطقية.

الآن، الرحلة بعد يومين، واليوم فقط أرسلوا بريدًا إلكترونيًا يخبروننا بتغيير موعد الرحلة من عمّان إلى دمشق مرة أخرى! أي أنني سأصل إلى عمّان في 2/4، ولكن عليّ الانتظار حتى 4/4 لأتمكن من السفر إلى دمشق! هل يتوقعون أن أبقى في المطار لمدة يومين؟

والأسوأ من ذلك، أنهم لا يردون على الإيميلات أو المكالمات! بعد محاولات عديدة للتواصل معهم عبر البريد الإلكتروني والمكالمات الهاتفية، لم أحصل على أي رد. اضطررت إلى الاتصال بصديق لي في عمّان، وبعد محاولات استمرت ساعة للوصول إليهم، أخبروه بأنه لا يوجد أي حل آخر.

عندما سألناهم عما إذا كان من الممكن إلغاء رحلة عمّان - دمشق والسفر برًا بدلاً من ذلك، أخبرونا أن هذا غير ممكن، وإلا فسيتم إلغاء رحلة العودة أيضًا! علمًا بأن رحلة العودة أيضًا تتضمن ترانزيت في عمّان.

ليس هذا فقط، بل بسبب كثرة الإيميلات والمكالمات التي اضطررنا لإجرائها معهم، تلقينا فاتورة هاتف بقيمة أكثر من 140 يورو!

ما الذي يمكن فعله مع شركة كهذه؟ من الشخص الذي قام بتغيير جزء من الرحلة ولم يرَ أنها رحلة ترانزيت؟! لا يرسلون سوى بريد إلكتروني دون أي تفاعل حقيقي مع العملاء، ولا يردون على أي استفسارات.

سأقدم شكوى رسمية ضد هذه الشركة، وسأنشر ما حصل معي في كل الصفحات والمجموعات حتى ينتبه الجميع لأساليبهم. كما سأطالبهم بالتعويض عن جميع الأضرار التي تعرضت لها، سواء التأخير غير المبرر، أو المصاريف الإضافية، أو المعاناة التي سببها سوء تنظيمهم وعدم استجابتهم للاستفسارات.

وجب التنبيه للجميع حتى لا يقع أحد آخر في نفس الفخ!

The worst airline in the world! They change the booking date on their own, as if they are still in prehistoric times.

Sur 4 vols , 2 vols retardé. Sur 2 des 4 avions pas de tv disponible , sur les 2 autres vols les TV étaient là mais ne fonctionnaient pas. Nos deux valises ont été endommagés. Le seul point positif est la nourriture , mais servie a des heures insensé ( le déjeuné a 15h30) . Bref dans un système concurrentiel il n'y a aucune chance que je conseil ou que je reprenne cette Compagnie.

I booked a flight for a family holiday on April 13th. However, for some reason, the flight was canceled. Their agent suggested booking from another airport, so my agent rebooked the flights. But then, Jordan Airlines canceled my flights again.

This issue started on February 17th, and after nearly a month of back-and-forth, they finally closed my case and issued a refund for my tickets. However, I had booked my package holiday four months ago, and now the same trip costs me £1,800 more.

Their management showed no interest in resolving the situation. I called every day, four times a day, and they kept making excuses, saying they were too busy. What kind of airline management takes almost a month to fix an issue? Absolutely the worst airline experience!

I’ve booked a flight back in October for me to go to umrah on 13/03/2025 but RJ rescheduled my flight for 02/03/2025 without my knowledge the funny part is they want me to stay in Amman until 14/03/2025 as a transit wait for my original flight in Amman customer service is nonexistent tried everything for them to understand this can’t happen but they insisted there’s no other option but to take that flight 11 days earlier my flight was from Stansted and they have another flight from Heathrow at same date but they won’t reschedule me from different airport so my advice is to avoid this airline as you can see on here trust pilot there’s no single positive review and I’ll make sure to let know as much people as I can avoid avoid avoid

Booked and paid business class some 6 months in advance from Istanbul to Bangkok (Feb 19, 2025) only to be downgraded two weeks before flight time on the Istanbul-AMMAN leg. There was no offer of refund, use of lounge, upgrade to front row economy, nothing! On top of that, the whole RJ network lied by emails and at check in that I could use the lounge and that within 3 days someone would get in touch with refund documentation. I’ve seen none of it and was turned down at Istanbul Business class lounge. The airline intentionally screw passengers in every way.

Via Booking.com en daarmee Gotogate een reis vlucht geboekt met Royal Jordanian. De reis had een tussenstop op Ammam. Eerst werd een deel van terugvlucht gewijzigd waardoor de terugvlucht na lang communiceren werd gewijzigd. Dat heeft weken gekost en uiteindelijk opgelost. Niet veel later kreeg ik doodleuk het bericht dat een gedeelte van heenvlucht is gewijzigd terwijl wij daarmee onze vlucht op Ammam niet kunnen halen maar daar wordt geen rekening mee gehouden.

Ils demandent un "certificat d'irréparabillité" (frais d'envoi de la valise à la charge du client pour q'un entreprise à Paris vérifie que la valise est cassée).
Ils savent que les clients abandonnent.
Donc ils cassent ma valise et ne la remboursent pas.

Avions vétustes pas confortables. Films datant de l ère des dinosaures. Le pire de tout j ai demandé à l enregistrement d avoir avec un supplément un siège vers les issues de secours et on m a demandé si j étais complètement bilingue j'ai demandé pourquoi. Réponse pour pouvoir expliquer aux passagers en cas de problème quoi faire vers les issues de secours. A quoi sert l équipage??? Était ma réponse et j'ai eu un siège réservé à côté des toilettes. Je ne vous parle pas de l arrivée à Amman. Compagnie à fuir

I booked a flight trip from London to Jeddah Booking.com on Jordanian Air. I suppose to fly from London on 16th Mars, but it has changed to 18th Mars two days after. Furthermore, I prebooked and paid the hotel in Makkah. Then I called both to transfer to an alternate aeroplane, but they said there are no flights available that week. I told them I am willing to 18th if they compensate the two days I paid the hotel, they refused to pay me. I will never book again from booking.com and air Jordanian.

Retraso de 4h, no nos dan ni agua, en Jordania, donde nos llevaron a un aeropuerto militar. La experiencia fue surrealista, nadie explica nada, nos hacen correr, nos dicen que somos los últimos para que ni paremos a fumar, los asientos están medio rotos.

Didn’t fly with them yet but booked a flight directly via the airline website (not some other booking platform) and they keep bombarding me with spam emails… daily calls to upgrade or purchase extra services. And no way to unsubscribe from these. This is a direct violation of the CAN-SPAM law and may be illegal and could result in hefty fines for the company! Hopefully some lawyers pick this up and sue Royal Jordanian for unlawful conduct.
