Great experience. After a disappointing encounter with another trader who couldn’t diagnose or fix the issue, Ian from RJ Martindale arrived and resolved everything within an hour. He was polite, knowledgeable, and incredibly conscientious — wearing shoe covers indoors and laying down carpet protector. Great service, highly recommended.

The gas engineer was very professional and thorough. Easy to talk to and a very nice man.

I joined the RJ Martindale home care plan for piece of mind and during the initial inspection I was given some recommendations on areas of my system to either correct, or improve.

The full list of jobs was quite extensive as we were undertaking some home improvements: 4 new radiators including one huge cast iron rad, installation of a smart Hive heating system, flushing/cleaning the central heating, fixing the flush mechanism on a toilet, improving pipework in/out of the boiler, replacing an expansion vessel - the list goes on!

I have to mention both Dylan and Edward, absolutely top guys. This work was done over a few days here and there and you can see that they take pride in their work by how professional, tidy and efficiently they operate.

I’d like to also thank the team on the desk at the office as they always pick up the phone super quickly, which is exactly what you need if you were in an emergency situation.

The engineer who came to our house, Theo, was very polite and professional. He serviced our boiler and got all our radiators working. Some of the radiators were not working properly before.

Theo arrived on time and was polite and professional, servicing the boiler in a clean and tidy manor. Definitely recommend this company.

The installation of 1 new radiator appeared to go well. However on returning to my home I found the boiler leaking into my new utility room cupboard . We contained the small leak, Called What’s App number as requested , by 11am all resolved - thanks

I telephoned Martindales looking fo a quotation to replace 6 radiators and for help with the boiler in a house I've recently purchased. The lovely lady who answered was very helpful and quickly arranged an appointnent. 2 days later, a plumber called Warrren arrived promptly at my property. He was friendly, polite and extremely efficient in measuring up and identifying small changes that might be necessary to accommodate my requirements. He explained everything fully and had my boiler working perfectly and producing hot water within seconds. What a hero! I am now awaiting my quotation for the radiators and hope I will be able to invite him back to install them very soon.

I found this company to be very professional, very honest and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Everywhere was cleaned after the job was finished.

I can’t fault the professionalism of this company or the great guys who come out to carry out the work. I’ve recently had a new boiler installed, followed by a subsequent visit for a service and some other surveys around my home.
