RNG Classics - Self drive classic cars  レビュー

We had a fantastic day renting the Porsche 356. Robbie couldn’t have been more helpful, welcoming and friendly. The car was phenomenal and it all felt very special having use of it for the day to celebrate a milestone birthday. We would highly recommend RNG Classics, the range of cars epitomise classic elegance and beauty.

We rented a red Ford Mustang from Robbie's incredible collection for music promotion for a track release. From beginning to end Robbie was accomodating and the communication was great. Plus the car was gorgeous and in perfect condition. All in all, what could have been a stressful experience for us, (because anyone knows who does production, knows how many moving parts to it there are) was made easy and relaxed. Grateful to you Robbie.

So here we go ...
It was our tenth wedding anniversary, and I wanted to do something to make the weekend really memorable. Early on I hit on the idea of hiring a classic car for the drive to our hotel, but had no idea whether this would be possible or how to make the logistics work. I contacted Rob about six months ahead of the date and he was fantastically helpful: we put together a plan whereby the hire car (a lovely little Triumph Spitfire) would 'appear' on our front drive on the morning of the getaway weekend, magically replacing our distinctly boring Audi. Said Audi would be driven to our hotel and left there, and we'd have a lovely day pottering along country lanes in the Spitfire.

On the day the whole plan worked beautifully. My wife's face when she saw what had 'happened' to our car was magnificent, and we had a great time driving the Spitfire to the hotel.

All through the process Rob was really, really helpful. He helped pick the car, arranged a clandestine test drive (so my wife didn't rumble the plan), and was on call on the day in case anything went awry with the car swap. Overall the whole experience was absolutely first class!

We hired the White Rolls Royce for our wedding day in June and it was the perfect touch to make us feel special on our way to the venue! Both the groom and I did separate rides over in the car and Robbie was so lovely, chatty and put all our nerves at ease. The process of booking to the day of was seamless and I'd recommend RNG Classics to anyone for a special event / occasion / wedding. Thanks Robbie + RNG team!

RNG has an amazing selection of cars! I took the green Mercedes SL out for a day and had loads of fun. But Robbie's customer service is what makes this place 5 star for me. Great communication leading up to the rental and very friendly and personable when we met for the collection.

Great car, great experience and great service! Robbie drove directly the 365 speedster to our house and after the handover we were ready to go! Always been my dream to cruise on this car. Thanks Robbie!

We had an incredible experience with RNG Classics!

I began planning a surprise experience for my Stepdad’s 70th birthday months ago, and Robbie was so helpful and understanding of what I was trying to pull off. He has always wanted to drive a Triumph Spitfire and the one in the collection is an absolute beauty!

Robbie couldn’t have been more responsive, lovely to deal with, and flexible - he went above and beyond to make it a special experience for my family, and his knowledge of the cars themselves was an added bonus.

My stepdad hasn’t stopped smiling - it’s been Robbie this and Robbie that since we returned the car and we will definitely see him again!

We were really appreciative of the service received, the level of professionalism mixed with personalism, and would highly recommend!

Had a fantastic experience with RNG Classic cars and Robbie. From talking me through the various options for my dream wedding car, to delivering on the day. A seamless experience from start to finish. Would highly recommend and would definitely use again!

Robbie was the most accommodating when providing the iconic Porsche 356 Speedster for a wedding. It was the perfect car top off the feel to a perfect country wedding. Car was in perfect condition too and ran like a charm.

Truly amazing experience. I contacted Robbie fairly last minute looking to organise a surprise for a 100th birthday. We wanted an E type Jag. Can't praise Robbie enough - excellent communication from start to finish, nothing was too much. Robbie even chauffeured himself and was so lovely with the birthday boy! Highly recommend RNG Classics.

Had a fabulous time with Robbie, we had a trip in the Rolls Royce a surprise for my daughter and her best friend beautiful car great experience.

Great experience dealing with these guys. Hired a Vintage 365 Porsche Speedster for my husband's 50th. It was effortless and we had great communication and services from them. Would definitely recommend!

Having rented classic cars from most options in London, I wanted to try something new, so I rented a Porsche 356 Speedster from Robbie at RNG Classics. From start to finish, Robbie was absolutely phenomenal. He was super quick to respond, always available, and truly a passionate car enthusiast with an incredible stable of classic cars.

The level of personal service Robbie provided was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. His dedication to ensuring a perfect rental experience was evident in every interaction. He even went above and beyond by driving me back to the airport in an Audi SQ8!

Every minute of the experience was pure joy, thanks to Robbie’s exceptional service and expertise. I can’t wait to return and work my way through the rest of their stunning collection. If you’re looking for an unforgettable classic car rental experience, Robbie at RNG Classics is the guy to go to!

Beautiful person to deal with
Mr Robbie is a true gentleman
Beautiful place to drive to and to pick your car from.

I recently booked RNG classic Jaguar E-Type for my brothers wedding.

We had zero issues and the whole experience was fantastic. From the admin of getting the car to us on the day at the correct time, to the car itself. All was fantastic

A wonderful experience. Robbie was very accommodating and allowed us to pick up the car at 5am! Had the best time driving the Spitfire Triumph around.

Would highly recommend RNG Classics for car hires!

Robbie is a pro. The car was great, the communication and ease of booking is superb. We had the best time with the e type jag and will be back for further bookings!!! There are so many people who make this sort of thing difficult.. these guys don’t. Do not look any further.

Back in 2023, my family booked me in to drive RNG Classic's Jaguar XJS for a day as a birthday present. Unfortunately, just a few days before I was due to pick up the car, I broke my ankle so had to postpone the experience.

By the time my ankle had healed, the XJS had developed some faults and so was out of action. Robbie, kindly offered some rather lovely alternative vehicles instead, but my heart was set on the XJS, so we postponed again.

When the time came, the XJS was still unavailable and again, Robbie offered to send me out in one of the other vehicles - this time for free! And I'd STILL be able to take the XJS out when it became available.

So, on a gloriously sunny winter's day, I had 4 hours cruising around the countryside in a convertible E-Type Jaguar!

The E-type was beautiful, smooth and a real pleasure to drive. You feel really connected to the driving unlike what you experience in more modern cars with their power steering, traction control and various other driving aids. I loved it!

Then, 2 days ago, I finally got to drive in the XJS! It was brilliant. The 4 speed auto was very responsive and the car was a joy to drive. A wonderful GT cruiser and just brilliant on the various A roads that criss-cross the Kent countryside.

Robbie, has been extremely helpful and accommodating with everything. He is very knowledgeable about cars and it's been a real pleasure chatting with him about all sorts of different cars and motoring in general.

I can't recommend RNG Classics highly enough. Great cars, great service!

5 stars isn’t enough! Having hired RNG Classics, Robbie, in October 2022 for a multi-day driven trip to Bath and The Cotswolds with (airport transfer), I could not wait to do it again in May 2024. Just returned from a 5 day trip, where my friend and I were hosted to a magical and memorable Holiday.
The selection of Cars and the level of personal customer service is unparalleled to any other car hire I’ve used. Robbie, has the most lovely demeanor and my friend I felt safe and cared for us as if we were lifelong friends! RNG, is a family operated small business that I will continue to patron, support and can recommend easily and with glowing positivity.
A+ A+ A+

Very smooth and easy process from start to finish, Robbie explained everything clearly and was really accommodating to all our needs. He was a pleasure to deal with. His Rolls Royce was a big hit at our wedding. Wouldn’t hesitate to use RNG Classics again
