Joining Rock Choir us one of the best things I've ever done. It doesn't matter what your mood, you always leave feeling happy and lifted. It is utterly joyous to be part of the beautiful harmonies. The highlight so far has been performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. If this is something you have been considering doing, do it!

It’s unique. Emphasis is on fun making friends but singing at a high amateur /pro level as the teaching is different and simpler for those with no musical knowledge. This results in more confidence and in a short space of time people are able to sing even complex harmonies. There are so many resources between rehearsals to use on line. The concerts are voluntary but there is enthusiasm to attend.
The fees are in line with all that is offered.To summarise it’s a fun unique and friendly experience. It also helps making new friends.

Ever since my first taster session I have been made to feel welcome by everyone at the Weymouth choir. The rehearsals are fun and inspiring, preparing everyone for the varied performances we do. The online back up is really helpful, without that I wouldn't have been able to learn the back catalogue. Thankyou trust pilot for adding this in my sister's name...not entirely sure how you did that!

Great fun, good song choices, Paul is a fantastic choir leader who makes everyone welcome, regardless of singing capabilities. Since starting a year ago, made many new friends so my social life has improved as well. Love going to the gigs where we meet up with choirs from other areas.

I have been a member of Rock Choir for 13 years now. It was the best thing I did. I have sung at Wembley, the 02,The NEC and Party in the Park in Hyde Park I have recorded at Abbey Road Studios and recorded a CD with The Welsh Session Orchestra. Our leader Paul is a fantastic leader and the members are all very friendly. We have raised a lot of money for charity. If you do nothing else have a taster session and see for yourself. You won’t regret it.

I joined Rock choir 10 years ago now and I've never regretted it. We practice on a Monday night and it's so much fun, I go away feeling uplifted and happy. We do so much for many local charities in the Cardiff and surrounding area it gives me great pleasure to help raise much needed money for lots of worthy causes. I've made so many friends too. We have many social events that bring us together to sing. You don't have to audition or even have a great voice it's just nice to sing all the rock and pop songs we all know and love. I would recommend joining. To sing is great for your mental health and we are like one big family nation wide.

I’ve been a member of the Cardiff choir for just over a year and love every minute.. no experience or audition needed, the choir leader, Paul’s, ethos is to just come along, sing and have fun. All efforts were made to make me feel welcome and totally included from the first day and first gig. Incredible value for money as I could go to 4 rehearsals a week, all the gigs and weekly online vocal yoga for £30 a month.. honestly it’s hard to fit it all in! The main thing is the really uplifted feeling I get from singing and the fun with everyone else. Honestly the best decision I ever made to join.

Joined two years ago and I look forward to every rehearsal and enjoy the gigs. We have endless fun, special friendships and the singing is so uplifting. Our rock choir leader Paul is simply the best

Joining Rock Choir last year is one if the best things I’ve done. Groups are SO welcoming , fun and yet professional too. Our leader Paul is so talented and makes all our gatherings very enjoyable and fun! Made lots of new friends whilst singing popular songs. You don’t have to be able to sing well - all are very welcome!

It’s the encouragement, support and enthusiasm from our inspiring leader.

I joined Caerphilly Rock Choir in January 2025 and I have enjoyed every minute. Paul the Choir leader is amazing and everyone is friendly and welcoming. As well as the brilliant face to face teaching of songs, we have access to amazing song resources. I've sung at a few gigs now and loved every minute. Looking forward to the summer programme of events. I'd recommend anyone with an interest in singing should try this - it's nothing short of fabulous.

I have only been with the jordanstown rock choir a month now,and from the moment I walked in,it's been nothing but warmth and laughter. Making friends along the way,singing great songs and attempting to learn them,with the help,with our amazing choral instructor rachel,she's amazing. Rock choir,came at the right ,in my life and it has saved me . It has helped me with my depression and confidence aswell,id be lost without u all x.

Rock Choir brings Joy, fun and friendship to my life, together with great experiences and also all the benefits of singing together. I have been a member for 9 years, and it was the best decision I ever made.

Absolutely fantastic choir to belong to. I am part of the Cardiff group of choirs, and really look forward to my weekly sessions. Our choir leader is excellent, makes the sessions really fun and is a great teacher as well.
Although the groups are quite large, everyone is really friendly and welcoming. I love almost all the songs that we learn - it’s wonderful to sing songs that I already know and love, and I even think that some of our versions are better than the originals!
We also get to sing at various events /m- this is not compulsory, but is a fabulous thing to do.
In short, if anyone is thinking about joining then don’t hesitate - you can have a free taster session so don’t have to commit straight away.

I have been a member for 11+ years and have made new friends, and visited places I didn’t think I would . Recording in Abbey Road was a firm favourite.
No need to read music , just come and sing with a great group of people.

Rock Choir has changed my life! I am so glad that I joined about 18months ago. I love learning the songs in the RC sessions and backing that up with great online resources, which are particularly helpful to learn songs taught before I joined! Every RC lesson is brilliant fun thanks to our super Cardiff leader, Paul Mansford. It’s a really friendly and supportive atmosphere. The gigs are enjoyable and a great incentive to get away from the lyric sheets!
