A dreadful experience with RoninWear! I ordered a jiu-jitsu kimono that was supposed to arrive on Thursday but was only delivered on Saturday. The packaging was torn, the kimono bag was also ripped, and the kimono itself looked used, completely disheveled. I contacted the company, and their response was ridiculous: "Another customer may have tried on a size, as this is a physical store, and we also accept returns. However, if we notice the item has been used or washed, we do not accept returns." As an EU consumer, I expected decent service, not a used product and this kind of attitude.

In response to your comment, I would like to clarify the following points:

1. In your initial response, no alternative solution was proposed to address the issue.

2. I made it clear that I did not want a refund, as I knew the kimono could be sent to another person, which did not feel right to me.

3. No explanation was provided as to why the kimono’s bag was delivered torn.

4. You stated that no mistake was made on your part and that it is "perfectly normal" for a customer to receive a product that is already opened, used, and with damaged packaging.

5. I emphasized that, at the very least, an apology was expected, and the reason for contacting you was to help improve your service.

6. You use TIPSA, a transport company with very poor reviews in Portugal.

7. I have been a customer for several years, having purchased multiple kimonos, and this is my first complaint.

and was looking forward to receiving it but it never came. Didn’t mind waiting but it’s been over a month and customer service have ignored my inquiries still no reply, shame really I love their stuff, I would have bought more

Mejor trato al público, la empresa de transporte engañando y no buscan soluciones.

Foi efetuada uma compra na vossa loja com a minha conta na scalapay, já informei o banco. Não consigo entrar na conta da sacalapay.

A única coisa que sei é o número da encomenda e que foi pago em prestações com o meu cartão bancário. No total são 45,73€ que não irei pagar.
Quero que cancelem a encomenda imediatamente e devolvam o dinheiro.

Já contactei a vossa loja por email a informar a situação, mas ninguém responde.

El producto es el esperado, envío rápido. Además tuve que cambiar la talla de varios productos y se hizo de manera rápida y sin poner ningún tipo de problemas. Los recomiendo.

Colis reçu sans problème a la date prévue, jusque la tout va bien Les deux sweat sont trop petits, nous essayons de joindre le site pour un renvoi et prendre une taille au dessus et jamais aucune réponse. Trois mail envoyé aucun retour de leur part. C était mon cadeau de Noël de la part de ma femme et c est moi qui lui avait recommandé ce site. Je recommandais ce site aux parents de mes élèves pour les kimonos je peux vous dire que ce sera la dernière fois.

Cercavo dei paratibie abbastanza rari e l'unico sito dove erano disponibili era roninwear.it (non .com come il sito principale) a prima vista ero sicuro fosse una scam dal momento che il sito IT è brutto come un lutto in famiglia e per di più tradotto da cani con google traduttore.
In ogni caso decido di prendere questo prodotto, scelgo spedizione in 4-5 giorni lavorativi e a mia enorme sorpresa arrivano veramente (impacchettati un po' strani e senza tracking, ma arrivati per davvero).
Quindi nulla, sono bravi ma il sito puzza.

Commande passée, colis envoyé, mentionné comme livré malgré absence de signature de ma part, mais jamais reçu.
Après signalement de la situation, Roninwear m'écrit le plus naturellement du monde qu'il ne fait aucune confiance à son transporteur GLS (un comble) et me promet de m'aider à résoudre mon problème, puis cesse soudainement de répondre à mes multiples relances demandant simplement de m'aider à localiser mon colis.
Dès que je fais intervenir Paypal, l'enseigne me rembourse ma commande comme par magie... Tout en me priant d'éviter de revenir acheter sur son site à l'avenir.
Incompréhensible.
Conclusion : Expérience d'achat étrange et déplaisante malgré dédommagement final (par ailleurs non souhaité puisque je désirais uniquement disposer de l'équipement que j'avais payé).
Bref, comme une odeur de magouille, chez ce commerçant que j'éviterai dorénavant de fréquenter.
Passer commande chez Roninwear, c'est prendre le risque de ne jamais rien recevoir.

Excelente tienda online. Buen trato. Buen material, cuando fue necesario hacer algún cambio o devolución no tube problema alguno.

I had no need to contact customer service so I can't comment on that but the preparation, shipping and delivery was very quick and the product matches the description. I was informed by automated emails every time the status of my order changed so I knew the whole time what was happening with the order. Also the shipping fee was affordable. I have nothing bad to say about this website, I'm really happy with the experience.
