They offer you a slew of fake profiles, thousands of bots (computer-generated messages) and also a few staff members are thrown in there for good measure. There are still some good and honest sites like J4Elit.com
- there are also free sites which are quite bad but at least they are free; and there is another category of sites like Rosebrides: expensive and totally phony. It’s plain rip off. Blatantly corrupt site with no real profiles. When a genuine woman tries to sign up they simply block her. They don’t need genuine profiles. They just want to con people out of their money – so fake profiles are perfect for this goal.

Seems like a Church of Scientology scam. You are bombarded with an interrogation of who you are, which takes nearly a half hour to complete, and then the drop the bomb of outrageous paid membership prices. I tried this with one other site a year ago, and they scammed me, started debiting my debit card right and left until I was left with no choice to cancel the card. Do not pay to date, especially online, because if you do you are just accepting the world's oldest profession and I suspect these sites are owned by men, who are welcome to meet me in the ring, who get their rocks off trying to get others to j off to their scams...

I signed up but my profile was immediately suspended. I sent in my ID (as requested), but it still wasn't reinstated and they said they couldn't tell me why.

I'm also trans so that might've been a reason lol

Most all of the profiles are scammers with AI pictures and made up profiles. Most all of the women will ask you to message on WhatsApp or Telegram, and immediately ask for money for online translation, sick relative, Passport application, you name it!

If we could just look at reviews before hand and discern what's genuine or not, we could save time and effort. I strongly advise to dismiss this website or you'll be at the very least disappointed.

There are mostly men talking about women in the reviews, and I'm not trying to invalidate them. But I will also tell my story as a woman. First of all, I have never asked for money, nor will I ever ask for it. I came to the page with the genuine idea of finding a relationship or friendship.

I came across several fake male profiles, some more obvious than others. I connected with two people, one from the United States and one from Canada. They both asked me for WhatsApp.

I just lost touch with the Canadian guy, and he stopped talking to me, okay? But the American guy... I blocked him because he wouldn't stop talking to me about his sex life with his "best friend." Even though I told him that we didn't have the right level of trust yet to talk about that topic.

The women on this site don't pay anything at all, so I understand why more men are reporting this scam.

I don't know if it's true, but I remember the Canadian telling me there were a lot of prostitutes on this page.

I was a premium member from July 21, 2024 until today, December 5, 2024.

I complained to Rose Brides numerous times about the women: every woman I talked with, or chatted with got around to asking for money. And the support people always say the same thing. They do their best to screen everyone.

When you contact a woman or they contact a man, they want to move to Whatsapp as fast as possible so they have you isolated.

I have encountered fakes profiles, men posing as women, constant requests for money. Playing on your emotions with complaints of starvation and hunger and other things.

A common scam is their cell phone was taken or they were robbed and need money for a new one.

Do not go there. Do not pay money for a premium account.

I can prove that I was a member. Stay away from Rose Brides.

Absolute scammers paradise, you will get multiple messages easily, usually from cuban and venezuelan profile. But on reply, almost all of them will attempt to move the conversation off the site to the likes of telegram or whatsapp as quickly as possible, where they can start the money requests unmonitored. Rosebrides admins try their best and do remove them (every login revealed a mass of profile suspensions in the messafe inbox) but more profiles simply take their place. It needs far more vetting and profile verifications from Rosebrides side to tackle such a problem. Until then, this is not a site to take seriously if looking for genuine people.

I signed up and received a ton of replies. I listed in my profile that if anyone wanted money - to move on. I correspond with this female from the Philippines. She said that money was not her goal. She was looking for someone who wanted a serious relationship. We chatted on WhatsApp until she began pushing on coming to the USA to meet me. She also was checking up on every move I made. Ex: I had to run errands - want a video chat - 4 times wanted to connect. I blocked her. The profile name she used was Maria.

At first I was overwhelmed with responses. After encountering multiple phone actress individuals and Reporting them to Rose Brides my responses died down to practically nothing. I would say that this site may be collaborating with scammers/ phone actress Enterprises. I hate to be that cynical but it seems there are just too many phone actresses. In fact one of them got very mad at me and said I didn't have a right to report her cuz she was just doing her job. I told her there are other sites which encourage this Behavior and why didn't she just move to those. All of which leads me to believe that there's a certain amount of tolerance for this type of activity on Rose Brides which makes it very difficult time consuming to sift through all the individuals to find out who's real and who's not.

Total scam guys - stay away. The site has a good format and lots of pretty profiles. It’s was overwhelming how many messages I received on literally the first day. I messaged with a few girls, but they don’t want to do audio/video calls or their phone is broke. And they start asking for money for a visa without ever even hearing their voice. I cannot tell if the entire site is an organized group of scammers or just crafty individuals, but come back to reality and try another site.

Most profiles are completely fake or abandoned months ago. As soon as you communicate with them on Whatsapp 8 out 10 women just ask or hint for money only with in a few days.

The Ukrainian women want money or a visa.

The Hispanic women only communicate in Spanish and expect the guy to do all the translations.

The Filipinas only want money and hound you until you block them.

Rose Brides does nothing if you report them; unless you only speak to them thru their site. And they do nothing if you show them text or emails offsite.

80% of the women are mothers; some lie on their profile. Then tell you they have children. I suspect some are married or have local boyfriends just running scams.

Rose Brides and the fake profiles will both just bleed you dry of money.

COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.

I set up a profile on this site. I briefly browsed the site, noticed a lot of profiles without pictures. A few hours later I received an email saying they suspended my profile until I send them a photo of my ID, because they need to keep their site safe. There's no way I'm sending my ID information to a site I know nothing about.

Received lots of messages from women who very quickly asked for money. So I blocked and reported them as scammers. Interestingly, rosebrides then blocked me.

O......M........G!!!!! LITERALLY a catfish site made for catfishers!! Don't bother setting up a profile unless you want countless messages from scamming time wasters asking you for money!!!

Rosebrides offers the worst scam protection I've ever seen. They care little about their paying customers, or repeat business... I cannot imagine a worse dating site.. DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY THERE!! I look forward to rebutting their answer to this review!!

I signed up for a free account at rosebrides.com and thought I'd get around to filling out a profile and adding a photo later. 48 hours later I noticed I had dozens of likes and messages telling me I was just their type and how they loved my photo, I'm reminding you, my profile is completely BLANK. Obviously, this site is nothing but a scam and malware, full of bots.
