I would highly recommend Royvon. Our dog Betty had a fantastic two week stay. She was very well cared for by all the staff and came home a very happy Pup!
Special thanks to Kelsey and Tilly who looked after, cared for and trained Betty so well - we really loved the daily updates we received!
I will definitely be sending Betty to stay at Royvon again.

Bit trepidacious about dropping our dogs here as they’d only been to the Bridgend one. Needn’t have worried! The staff were great (some relocated from Bridgend) and our two were well looked after. We’ll be back next month.

We did a confidence stay with Royvon as we have a dog who is extremely anxious and reactive at times, and wanted to see how he would cope in this environment. Chloe was absolutely fabulous working with him and providing us updates throughout as worried owners. They ensured he was comfortable and acclimating throughout, and in the end he had a brilliant time. I cannot recommend the confidence stays enough if you are concerned whether this may be the right fit for your dog.

I used this service over the Christmas period last year and, unfortunately, my experience was disappointing overall.
Prior to drop-off on the 20th, I completed all requested forms (requested the day before) and also provided a printed document outlining both dogs’ personalities and, importantly, their dietary requirements. Both dogs require very specific diets due to medical needs—one has allergies and the other is prone to gastrointestinal upset—so this was clearly documented.
During their stay, I received some email updates. While the environment itself felt more akin to a shelter setting (with noticeable odour and frequent barking), I was reassured at the time that they were being cared for.
However, upon collection, it became clear that there had been a significant error with their feeding. Despite the documentation provided, the food was incorrectly labelled, and a 1.5 kg bag intended for one dog was fed to my 32 kg dog over approximately three days. After that, both dogs were fed the same food. As a result, one dog experienced an allergy flare-up and the other developed diarrhoea. Which I had pictures of.
I raised this with the team after collection. Initially, there was some confusion and denial. The issue was eventually acknowledged, but I was didn't like that I had not been contacted during the stay when the feeding error occurred. Communication was slow and, at times, confused on their end which give me a sense of total lack of organisation and oversight.
While I appreciate that the Christmas period can be busy, this was a paid premium period (approximately £800 in total), and I would have expected a higher level of care and attention—particularly regarding health-related requirements. I was not actively seeking a refund, but given the circumstances, I believe it would have been appropriate for this to be offered (which wasn't).
On a positive note, the training service provided was good. However, as a Vet myself, I found the standard of care regarding the dogs’ health and dietary needs to be well below expectations.

Great! Its so lovely being able to leave the dog somewhere you can trust and know that they are cared for and treated so well. We are so lucky to have found them. We wouldn't use anywhere else! Thanks to the team and especially Ella for taking such good care of Prim on her last visit.

This was the first time I have left my rescue bordeaux in 7yrs, He can be reactive to certain people and I was so nervous to leave him but was immediately put at ease, the professional way my boy was handled as soon as we arrived was outstanding, the handler was so confident and professional, it 100% put my boy at ease and he just wandered off with the handler, not a care in the world, daily honest updates put me at ease and I would 100% be confident to leave him in the future, what an amazing team 10 out of 10.

The company's approach to dog care made the experience really positive. As soon as we arrived it was clear that they had a really positive approach. Everyone we saw interacted well with our dog (Edna), who can be reactive and nervous. She showed no signs of anxiety and was immediately comfortable with her carer, Yvonne.
We received reports and pictures about what Edna has getting up to which was very reassuring. I was concerned that Edna would be anxious and not eating but she ate every meal - a clear sign that she was feeling comfortable. She was very happy when we collected her. I would highly recommend Royvon.

I took my very anxious girl Maggie for a confidence stay at Royvon Merthyr. What an amazing experience, they really took the time to get to know here and have given me so much peace of mind leaving her when we do go away.
Maggie is a rescue who struggles being away from us, she’ll shake uncontrollably and there is no way she will interact with anyone.
It was nice to see pictures of her playing and enjoying time there. She even went back to the handler when we picked her up for fusses. We will continue to take her for Daycare until we need to leave her for an extended time so that her confidence will build.

Happy dog, happy life. Looked after our pooch really well.

I had an hour with a trainer, I have two new German shepherds that were for their breed, a little anxious on a lead. I booked in for nearly an hour at very short notice.. All that fear went out of the window. Money really well spent. Been out today the day after, still a little nervous and we didn’t venture too far but much improved. It was a pleasure to see them sniffing and engaging. Slow process but they are so young and impressionable.onwards and upwards. Highly recommended.
Cannot wait for puppy classes next.

We attended an introductory meeting to discuss potential training and boarding options for our 6-month-old cockapoo. The team was incredibly welcoming, affectionate, and generous with their guidance.

I rehomed a breeding female Doberman 2 months ago but I have had a trip to Australia booked for a year now, so I need to find somewhere suitable for my girl. She has fear based anxiety, reactivity & aggression at times, therefore finding the right place was essential. I did a lot of research and decided to book her in for a Confidence stay. The staff were very professional and thorough. I could tell instantly that they knew what they were talking about and that she would be handled with the care and essentially space, that she required.
I received photos and videos and a written update that evening, even though she only stayed one evening.
When I picked her up she was happy and her energy was really good.
She is going to have another confidence stay, so that she really feels it is a place she can trust, but I am happy with her staying for a longer time frame when I am away

Royvon Esher did a great job looking after Chip and Fox, especially Chip who was very anxious. They were very kind and patient with him, and it was good to get the daily updates via the portal with images of them out for walks and playing together. I also appreciated the food diary which was a good indicator of how they were settling in. Booking, dropping off and collecting was also very smooth and easy. Would recommend Royvon to other dog owners.

Excellent care of our dogs with great communication with daily enrichment photos. Always very friendly and helpful but a bit more expensive than other kennels but would recommend them to other owners looking for kennels

Had a good session with Romeo. Learning how to regain my pooch's focus back on me when he becomes distracted out and about.
