Paul and Connie are an absolute credit when they trained my GSD Bella(Bear).

Amazing school for dogs!

An amazing dog-minding service, but they do way more than that. They have the most amazing farm in the countryside with so many animals! Donkeys to dogs to turkeys! Such a happy place! Highly recommend..

Only place we would ever trust with our beloved Bucie when we go away. In the past, she’d always come home a bit down after our holidays - whether she’d been boarded or had someone stay with her. But not here. At DDR, we pick her up happy, healthy, and looking (and even smelling!) amazing. The team are wonderful - you can tell straight away that they genuinely care about the dogs and really know what they’re doing. It gives us complete peace of mind knowing Bucie is in such good and capable hands. Highlight was the Halloween pics ! Thanks team x

I can’t recommend DDR Guard Dogs highly enough. We sent our dog Chase there for their 4-week intensive reactivity training course and the results have been incredible.

A big thank you to Ben, who runs the place, for putting together such a professional setup. You can really see the experience and high standards behind everything they do.

While we were there we mainly dealt with Paul, and he was absolutely brilliant with Chase. The progress Chase has made in just four weeks is amazing. Paul clearly has a real understanding of dogs and his patience, knowledge, and dedication really showed in the way he worked with him. Chase’s reactivity has improved massively and he’s come back far more calm, focused, and controlled.

Another thing that really impressed us was the food. Chase has always been quite fussy with what he eats, but since being there he’s been having Ben’s homemade raw meat and absolutely loves it. It’s great to see him eating so well.

It’s clear the team genuinely care about the dogs and take real pride in the work they do. A huge thank you to Ben, Paul, and the whole team at DDR Guard Dogs for the fantastic job. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for professional dog training.

Ben’s team and there services are invaluable to a Belgian malinois owner like myself. Confidence and ability to manage and train is exceptional . Not enough words can express how amazing they are . Highly recommend

We sent our three month old Golden Retriever puppy to DDR Guard Dogs and the transformation has been incredible. Before training he had extremely challenging behaviour for such a young puppy – aggressive tendencies, constant biting, mounting, and very dominant behaviour. He wasn’t listening to commands and we were really struggling.

During the three weeks, the team kept us updated with training videos so we could see his progress, which was really reassuring.

When we collected him he was a completely different puppy. He is now much calmer, more relaxed and happier. His obedience has improved massively, he listens to commands and the dominant behaviour has gone.

Ben, has also been fantastic since bringing him home, continuing to support us with phone calls and video training sessions.

A huge thank you to Ben and the team at DDR Guard Dogs. Everyone was extremely friendly, supportive and professional. We couldn’t recommend them enough.

We sent our 1 year old boerboel for 4 weeks boot camp we wanted recall ,heel,sit,down and stay we had a problem with him jumping up at people also.
We were kept up to date with daily videos of his process and what an amazing job this team do at DDR I would especially like to thank Connie for all the hard work I know Dennis will miss you. When the 4 weeks were up we had 2 hours training with Ben and Connie which we found extremely helpful I couldn’t believe the difference in our dog they talked us through continuous training at home and the continued support they offer after we have left and also a day back at DDR for a refresh day course I would highly recommend this company and all the team there as they have provided an excellent service for our dog but also for us

rude people, i wouldn’t trust my dog with them ever

DDR designed a special 4 week intensive residential programme for my unusually stubborn and wilful 17 month bulldog pup. The results have been astonishing. His behaviour has been transformed and he has thoroughly enjoyed himself in training- something I could monitor as DDR sent daily videos of his progress. The staff are friendly and highly professional, being absolutely committed to the welfare of my dog as well as the outcome. I am delighted to recommend DDR.

If you are looking for an intelligent guard dog this is the place, Ben knows his stuff and the dogs are very good, mine can be the best guard of a night and a good family dog during the day.

Very disappointed by the lack of professionalism when dealing with enquiries.

Unfortunately, will now be taking business elsewhere. Had called to enquire about a dog for sale on their site. I had a few basic questions and wanted some more details but when I received a call back, whoever I spoke to shouted the price down the phone then hung up as I was mid question.

It was so dismissive and rude, I'm so disappointed. I had such high hopes and yet due to the dismissive nature of the staff member, I wasn't able to get anymore info. Was very unprofessional and rude. Such a shame

Expertly trained staff who really care. I have all my dogs attend training in areas of obedience and have had support with reactivity. It’s a breath of fresh air having a happy dog and meeting its needs

couldn't have asked for more positive experience from jordan and mighty in training Blue. jordan has been brilliant throughout is exceptionally good at her job and we would have no hesitation in recommending her or leaving any of our dogs in her care again. well worth every single penny. updated videos every single day we're reassuring.

I just want to start by saying these guys are top tier and thank you so much because it was my first time putting my dogs into a kennels or boarding as some people no it so was a little nervous but the guys at DDR Guard Dogs was so professional and made me feel at ease with a couple videos each day of both of my dogs they communicated with me everytime and my dogs seem to really enjoy them self my big boy had board and train and within 11 days of them having him his pulling on the lead has stop his heal by my side is excellent his sit recall im so happy thank you so much to the whole team at DDR

We sent our bouncy, boisterous puppy to DDR for “stay and train”.
After two weeks with them, the tendency to jump is significantly reduced and he walks to heel so much better.
The daily videos were very comforting and reassuring and he undoubtedly loved their food.
I’d have no hesitation in recommending them and my concerns that a “guard dog environment” would not be ideal for a family pet were definitely unfounded.

DDR is Very strict with a nervous dogs, and it was really nice to receive a videos of our doggo during his play and training g 😄 he doesn't like to be touched by others and it is a miracle that he was comfortable around DDR staff. Quite pricey stay, but dogs are having really good food, and they are being look after. We got a clean and brushed dog back.

I’m so impressed with the training my 6-year-old Golden Retriever received! He used to be very undisciplined, and I honestly thought it would be too late for him to learn at his age. But thanks to this amazing team, he now walks so much better on the leash and even gets into the car with no problem — something he never did before. I’m really grateful for their dedication and would highly recommend their services to anyone looking for professional dog training!

Amazing place, I felt very safe leaving our dog with the staff who were great and very caring for him! 2 weeks training completed and what a difference!
