Attended a 5 hour beginners workshop today. Richard explained everything very clearly and was on hand with help and advice when needed. I came home with a stained glass bird hanging, which looks good if you don't look too closely at my soldering skills!
Really enjoyed the process and hope to go back for another go. Thanks Richard

Richard has created a pair of absolutely stunning stained glass windows in a bathroom door. He listened closely to our ideas and elevated them beyond expectations. We are so impressed that we're now splurging on two large windows for our interior front door.

I've just done the 5 hour Introduction to Stained Glass Workshop (Copper-foil method) and enjoyed every minute of it. Richard is a friendly, helpful and informative tutor. I'm seriously considering booking another session. Thoroughly recommended.

My experience was fantastic, Richard is a great teacher. This is a pleasure which I might have to do more of, hopefully for gifts and garden.

Ive Just done a 1 hours taster session where we made a scrappy bird. Richard showed the techniques and helped us when we needed it.
He was very patient and shared lots of tips.
I thoroughly enjoyed session, I thought it was going to be beyond difficult, however Richard broke it down and made it manageable. A great session which I recommend. Im going to now book on to a 5 hours session!

We had a fantastic hour making scrappy birds! We will definitely be booking onto a 5hr class soon

This was a lovely course, the beginners 5 hours, with a wonderful, patient and knowledgeable teacher Richard. Cannot recommend this highly enough and will be going back!

I've always wanted to make a stained glass window. The course was a present from my family which I had looked forward to. The place was easy to find with good parking and Richard, the tutor, made us very welcome. Throughout the day he was patient and helped me whenever I needed it. Richard instructed us clearly and demonstrated how to use all the tools we used. There were 4 in the group all doing the workshop for the first time. The workshop was well organised even though it ran over the 5 hours. There was a great choice of different glass for us to use. I enjoyed the day and came home with an amazing Leaded Light Sun Catcher. Thank you Richard.

Really lovely way to spend an hour or so. Richard was very patient, & good at explaining and demonstrating the new skills we needed to make our ‘quirky birds’. Overall a very enjoyable experience! Thanks Richard!

I attended the 5 hour, copperfoil stained glass class as a complete beginner.
Just want to say that I thoroughly enjoyed it and Richard was a friendly, patient and helpful teacher.
I was happy with the 'Siamese Cat' that I made :) Even though I forgot to make a couple of cuts, it turned out better than I expected. Would definitely take another class if the opportunity arises and wouldn't hesitate in recommending Richards classes to others out there, that are interesting in trying something different.
It's given me the confidence and knowledge to take this on as a hobby, when my finances allow.

I booked a taster workshop as a surprise for my mums birthday, neither of had done anything like this before and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Richard was friendly, helpful and knowledgable and I would absolutely recommend RP stained glass for workshops.

We attended a scrappy bird session, it was something as a family we’ve never done before and we all loved creating our own pieces. Richard was brilliant in guiding us through all the steps. I would highly recommend this experience. Thank you Richard 👍

Love every minute of these workshops. I have done 3, one all day and 2 shorter ones. Brilliant experience! Great way to spend an afternoon learning new skills. I absolutely love what I have made and friends seem really impressed which just goes to show how talented Richard is as a teacher.

I did the 5 hour introduction to stained glass (copper foil method). I can't overstate how much I enjoyed the class and how proud I am of what I made.

The class was well paced and covered variety of skills and techniques - everything you need to make a 6 to 8 (ish) piece stained glass project. There was a lot to fit into the time we had but we didn't feel rushed at any point.
Richard is an excellent teacher who makes sure each student gets the most out if their class. He is very friendly and made me feel at ease.

I would 100% recommend this course - I'm so pleased and surprised that as a complete begginer I got to make and take home a beautiful stained glass piece that is now in pride of place in my kitchen window!

Definitely want to come back and am already looking for project ideas!

I thoroughly enjoyed my day making a stained glass copper foil hanger. Richard was warm and welcoming and a great teacher. He explained everything well, there was no pressure and plenty of time for everything. And I left with a great piece that I will be proud to hang in my home. I will be back to try the lead course next.

What a great experience. The introduction course is an eye opener into a really interesting and rarely mention trade. Richard is a great instructor who takes the time with his students and explains everything so clearly that it isn't daunting and is a very enjoyable experience.

Richard is a friend of mine and he told me about his workshops for Stained Glass. Having never tried anything like this before, I was interested in doing something different. I did the 5 hour Introduction to Copper Foil class. Three learners were in attendance, me and another couple. We had a great time. I created a love heart for my wife, being the romantic I am, and the other couple created a lighthouse and a penguin.
We all left feeling tired but exhilarated by what we had achieved. Richard's teaching is calm, relaxed and friendly. The experience was professional and fun. I will be going back to experience more and develop my skills. Warning, creating stained glass art is highly addictive.

I had an old piece of stained glass which I wanted renovated and a missing fan light above my door.
Richard noticed I am a Star Trek fan and suggested something to signify that. He showed me some sketches of his design and made me a beautiful and amazing window in which he included the old pieces of glass from my original piece.
I can recommend Richard as an artist and perfectionist. He went out over and above to make sure my window was perfect.he is a master of his craft.

I did the Christmas Angel workshop mid December last year and it was a really great experience and way to get into the festive spirit and we came away with a lovely tree decoration to bring out each year.

I'll definitely be booking in again for another Angel but also looking at workshops Richard does other times during the year.

Luckily for me, Richard is very patient so if you aren't an expert with glass, like me, you will still come away with something lovely.

I can certainly recommend this.
