Not your fault but the Mahle blower fan


Not your fault but the Mahle blower fan I bought for my Mercedes Sprinter was made late on a Friday afternoon. The electrical plug has 2 barbs on it that are supposed to catch on the plastic housing and prevent the plug pushing backwards when you push in the male connector plug. The barbs Miss the keeper in the housing by a good mm. If the genuine plug in my buggered blower fan fits then I’ll have to solder it into the unit instead of the one that won’t stay in place or failing that slop a lot of plastibond around the plug to hold it into the plastic housing.
