Lugar estupendo para pasar unos dias tranquilos. Cercano a la playa, con piscina privada y restaurantes y supermercados cercanos. Equipación completa. Manuel, el dueño, una persona encantadora. Muy recomendable. Admiten mascotas.

We had a great experience booking through Ruralidays. We stayed in la Casita del Campo in Alcaucin for a week returning home yesterday. The booking process was very easy, regular communication from the Ruralidays team who were also very quick to respond to queries. We were put in touch with our host as soon as we paid the final amount and from there had regular contact with them too.

The location of Alcaucin is very rural and the description of how close local shops are is not accurate, it stated 2.9km so we were hoping we could walk to a couple of shops but they were 5 km away and with two 7 year olds this was not doable. Luckily we had a hire car so were able to get out and about.

The villa itself was beautiful, surroundings and views were stunning, and the host Noelia was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.

Verhuren villa’s waar camera’s in de woonkamer/keuken, hal badkamer en slaapkamers staan. Gaan ook totaal niet in op de vraag of hun dat wisten. Waarschijnlijk wel, maar spelen onder 1 hoedje met ELEapartments. We hebben dit gemeld aan ELEapartments tijdens ons verblijf omdat we dat moesten van ruralidays, dan nadien toen we landden in België alles opgelijst naar ruralidays, zeiden ze doodleuk dat wij dit tijdens ons verblijf maar moesten melden aan hun. Nu was het te laat. Alles maar dan ook alles wat je kan opnoemen was kapot of niet aanwezig. Een villa van 4000 euro voor 9 nachten hoop je wel dat die in orde is. Maar elke dag moesten er 1 of meerdere vreemde mensen bij ons over de vloer komen om iets te maken, brengen (Andalusië , geen paraplu’s) aanwezig. Een villa voor 6 personen. 3 ligbedden. Kregen niet meer. En dat al gevraagd voor onze vakantie daar. We hebben tape geplakt op de camera’s maar mss namen ze ook geluid op. Dat weten we niet. Tijdens ons verblijf daar naar politie geweest, want in Spanje is dat ten strengste verboden in de accommodatie verschillende camera’s hebben hangen. Uiteindelijk kunnen we nu via vrienden daar een officiële klacht indienen. Ruralidays laat ook totaal niet meer van zich horen . Huur hier a.u.b. niet bij. Wij reizen al meer dan 10 jaar en er kan altijd wel iets zijn, maar dit bedrijf… ook heel vriendelijk zolang je nog niet betaald hebt, maar van de moment alles in orde is, krijg je amper een mail terug met hoogstens 1 zinnetje!
Een totaal niet waardig bedrijf. Benieuwd of de camera’s er nu nog hangen na de officiële klacht… Ook bij ELEapartments niet huren a.u.b. zij zijn even erg. Ik wist niet dat het hun villa was, want als ik die reviews las was het al te laat.

Ruralidays helped rent out a house through Booking.com that had a non-functioning pool, a house that smelled strongly of cigarette smoke despite being advertised as non-smoking, and rats running around on the patio.

When we later contacted Ruralidays to seek compensation after leaving the property 8 days earlier than planned due to these issues, they refused to take any responsibility whatsoever and claimed that it was solely the owners' responsibility.

WARNING!!! DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THEM!!! They are not there for you when you need them the most.

Our experience of Ruralidays has been disappointing an unsatisfactory.

We hired a property through their website in 2026. On our first evening we discovered a mouse in the property and noticed dropping in several places including in the kitchen.

We quickly concluded the property was not fit purpose and it was unhygienic and a hazard to our health.

Under these circumstances we had no choice but to find alternative accommodation for the rest of our stay.

We informed the owner of our departure and contacted Ruralidays that we had left the property and let them know the reasons why.
Initially Ruralidays were very congenial but eventually took the word of the property owners over ours despite photographic evidence and refused to provide a refund over supposed contractual technicalities.

We hired the property knowing it was in a rural and rustic location, and we are fine with basic amenities etc, but when it comes to hygiene and our safety then we don’t compromise and neither should Ruralidays. Even if there had been a minor breach in the contract under these circumstances Ruralidays should have been more honourable and should have provided a full refund and assurances the property hygiene issues would be addressed to ensure the safety of future clients.

⁸Cecillia and her team made our week very comfortable. We asked for a new coffee machine and it was delivered within the hour. They checked in with Us everyday to see if we needed anything to make the stay better. The most peaceful villa. We brought all our gadgets to make the holiday exciting , but after 2 days we just enjoyed the peace. The drive up was equally exciting, just 25 minutes from Torrox centre. The villa was well looked after and had all the wishes we wanted. Would recommend if you want a bit of quiet. Yet the beach and towns are not far away. Torrox beaches are a marvel and the towns of Nerja and Fragiliana are speacial

Por parte de los anfitriones, amabilidad, trato personal, disponibilidad. Muy agradable.
Nos faltó poder celebrar la final del Mundial. Nos fuimos un par de días antes.
