Gulrez Khan was really helpful and responsive and got the job doen

We've been with Russell & Co for 23 years, bought 8 properties and sold 7. Always had a good, high-level of service with the team of experienced conveyancers over the years. My recent sale/purchase was carried out by Sarah Ely who has been great throughout the process, with the sale and purchase of complex properties with complicated issues to resolve. She took the stress out of it for us and efficiently got the completions done. We will be using R&Co again going forwards.

Absolutely fantastic service from Gulrez Khan and Kamran Raza who handled quite a complex conveyancing matter for us. They worked great together and both were incredibly professional and knowledgeable as they walked us through the process step by step. Nothing was too much trouble! Excellent communication via email and they were always available to speak to on the telephone whenever you rang. Given the nature of our case, we were very pleased with how quickly they completed for us. We would not hesitate to use Russell and Russell again providing we were allocated Gulrez and Kamran. We cannot thank them enough for their expertise and hard work.

Used their wills service, can’t comment on other services. Severe lack of compassion and communication, wasting several hours of family time during a difficult period. Given they can’t even get the basics right, I wouldn’t go near them with anything else.

The solicitor we delt with was very knowledgeable she was very helpful she kept in contact keeping us up to date with what was going on

We were very impressed with how easy it was to contact and deal with Gulrez Khan. He was always very communicative and kept us updated throughout the process managing to arrange completion remarkably quickly despite some complications along the way.
I would definitely recommend him and his team.

We used Russell & Russell for house purchase and sale of a property and my issues isn't necessarily with the company as a whole - I just had an awful experience with Alex Korko. Charlotte Cartmel I must say was very helpful when called upon, but she was only there to speak to because Alex never answered his phone.

On the day of receiving the quote, I tried to call Russell & Russell to talk through with them when we'd deciding to go with them (based on price) - but I never managed to get through to anyone even though I'd been allocated Alex. I had to email multiple times asking for Alex to give me a call which he did and was extremely rude and abrupt when speaking to me. He'd advised he was busy in the morning dealing with customers that were completing on that day and they were the priority. This reasoning is absolutely fine, however not at any point did I feel like a priority to Russell and Russell through out the whole process. That was 1 of only 2 phone calls I had with Alex over 10 months...

Fastforward to the end of the process which involved having to chase for simple information rather than being updated in a timely manor - all parties had agreed a completion date, but we didn't exchange contracts until 12pm the day before. Throughout that entire week Alex provided no reassurance or meaningful updates as to what was going on or whether we'd actually be moving house that week. It's an extremely stressful situation and Alex didn't do anything to help - so cannot recommend avoiding his services at all costs.

I'm sat in my new house doing this review i didn't think there could be so many obstacles in the way on a new build though Russell and Russell managed to sail through. One of the things that stood out was being kept in the loop at every stage by some of the nicest professional people I've had the pleasure to work with

My experience with my partner has been fantastic and continues to be very positive. The team has been incredibly helpful and supportive. Whenever you call, they respond promptly and are always willing to address any concerns without hesitation. They communicate with respect, professionalism, and reassurance, which makes a big difference. I truly appreciate the excellent support and service they provide.

Hi I used these lawyers for my family case.
They took my money from me stating they would help me do the c100 and pay for it.
Keith bull their head of the department is probably the most incompetent person I’ve met. My application was cancelled 3 weeks after it was put in due to them not paying the fee yet I had paid them in full. For the next few months they kept sending me payment links saying they have been doing work on my case yet i didn’t even have a pending application. So no work was being done and they was lining their pockets. After complaining which took them 3 months for a response they decided the would give me 100 pound compensation or go to the legal ombudsman. I will fight this till the end! Also the last nail in the coffin was they asked me for 145 pounds to be sent over to them when I moved legal firms so they could transfer my file over. No file had existed because my application was never paid for! My new firm uncovered their trail of fraud and deception but they still deny this. So keep away from this firm by reading all the negative comments look like I’m not the first!
