Really sorry to only put 4 stars it would have being 5 but some of the holes didn’t line up with the nutserts. So I had to drill a couple of holes slightly bigger. But overall the quality of welding & power coating and staining of the wood is really good. Looking forward to receiving the rest of my order just hope the holes are better placed, cheers, yorkshire Yorkshire 😁

Purchased a table and legs from there website. Upon delivery found that the legs and the inserted threads in the table top did not line up. Had many e mails between each other as its not worth the listed selling price. These are faulty in manufacture techniques. I have since found reading reviews that someone else has had the same issue. Its never been put right by the seller. Out of the 12 holes i have a table top and legs assembled by 24 off screws only. Will have to machine slot the legs at my own expence to make fit. be wary of quality of this item.

Ordered two shelves, which are excellent quality! Customer service is great and responses are prompt.

I Ordered a kitchen table and 2 benches from rust & Oak albeit the table was slightly narrower in width on arrival in relation to what I initially ordered .

I contacted Kristian at rust & Oak via e mail informing him the table top wasn’t sized to my order, he apologised and made the necessary arrangements to have it collected by courier and replaced with a new one to the size I had initially ordered asap.

This replacement table top arrived 7 days later and was again delivered by courier.

Kristian at Rust & Oak was more than helpful on each occasion I spoke to him via e mail & telephone and We are more than happy with the quality of this product and I would defiantly recommend and buy again from Rust & Oak.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this company, which compels me to share my story in hopes that others might avoid a similar ordeal. I ordered a table in early 2023, eagerly anticipating its arrival. However, my excitement quickly turned to frustration for several reasons:

Upon delivery, it became immediately apparent that the table had holes drilled in the wrong places, rendering it impossible to assemble as intended. This fundamental flaw should have been caught in quality control, if such a process exists at this company.

When I reached out to the seller seeking assistance for the return, given the product was clearly not fit for purpose, they refused to help. saying I needed to package and retrun it myself, which for a table of this size (6ft wide) was not possible. Their customer service was as defective as the product they sold me.

Despite my best efforts to salvage the situation by attempting to fix the table, it remained wobbly and unstable, a constant reminder of the poor quality.

A skilled carpenter later revealed the table's "upcycling" was poorly executed, with amateurish attempts at repair, such as the use of Polyfilla, further highlighting the shoddy workmanship.

It was only after frequent complaints about this table to friends and family that I realised I should share my experience more broadly. Purchased off Etsy, I had hoped for a unique and quality piece, but this was far from what I received.

Ultimately, I had no choice but to replace the table top with quality wood myself, adding insult to injury for the time and money wasted on this debacle.

I was in the midst of moving when the table arrived, and in retrospect, I regret not voicing my dissatisfaction louder and sooner. The entire process, from start to finish, was sloppy and utterly disappointing.

In summary, I strongly advise against purchasing from this seller. The lack of quality, poor customer service, and refusal to address legitimate issues have left me with no choice but to warn others to avoid these guys at all costs.
