Amazing product and customer service

Expensive cheap trash
Bought to spray some hand made light fittings, very dissapointed poor pigment doesent cover well at all never seems to cure properly feels soft and can be easily scrached off with you nails. Caused a lot of extra work and prep £8 for a tin of uselessness. Wont ever buy again. As you can see rustoleum have replied suggesting that it is possibly unsuitable. For the record it was a hand made steel light fitting that i used it on. So should be very suitable. Wont use again.

Simple question WHY do you use Fedex for your delivery service ?????
They are letting you down.
Your service is great, their delivery service is useless.
This is the fourth time I've purchased paint from you and on each occasion Fedex's tracking has been useless.
Estimated delivery today between 9am to 1pm, actual time of delivery 17.30pm.
Its like this every single time.
PLEASE PLEASE drop Fedex and use another delivery service, hence just the 2 stars.

Unfortunately the timeslot provided by the courier is intended as an aim, not a guarantee. It is an estimated time of arrival, but regrettably delays can occur which can cause a consignment to arrive later than estimated.

Unfortunately, as advised, we do not hold information on our system with regards to orders placed via the Amazon platform. As a result of this, we are not able to view the status of the delivery.
Issues on the Amazon platform are required to be raised with Amazon directly, as they have the required information on their system and can provide updates for you. Hopefully this has since been resolved and you have received your order.

I purchased the Rust-Oleum Universal…
I purchased the Rust-Oleum Universal paint for my front door, the colour Thyme was my favourite, once painted it was grey, nothing at all like the colour on the tin. It did cover well and is a great paint just watch out for the colour!

Order did not arrive, silent customer service
I ordered some paint samples in January and they have still not arrived. I have now emailed their customer service twice and I'm getting no response.
They took my money but now I can't contact them.

Très déçu par la peinture murale
Très déçu par la peinture murale. Les promesses ne sont pas tenus. Rust oleum fait la promotion d'une peinture facilement lessivable et résistante aux petites rayures... C'est (très) loin d'être le cas. J'ai acheté la peinture murale "mûre" pour la chambre de ma fille et elle marque extrêmement vite malgré trois couches (pour deux recommandées), au moindre contact. Pour le prix je ne recommande pas.

Awful company
Awful company , I accidentally ordered the wrong colour but messaged them immediately, totally ignored me and sending the incorrect colour out anyway , awful customer service , we won’t be accepting the order when it is delivered.
Yes it was my fault but surely they could have just read my email and amended it .
I will buy from a company that actually cares .

Dear Michael,
As we advised when you contacted us, your request to change the colour was sent at 19:53, our office closes at 17:00. Due to this, the request was not able to be seen until 08:45 the following morning. Your request was not ignored, we were simply closed.
As our warehouse operates 24 hours a day to ensure timely deliveries, your order was dispatched at 05:37. This was several hours before your request was able to be seen by our Customer Services team. As the order had already left us, it was then not possible to amend the colour, it was already in transit.
This is in accordance with, and displayed in our Shipping & Returns policy, whereby if any correspondence is sent after 17:00, it will not be seen until the following morning, and may result in cancellation requests not being able to be facilitated during these hours. We also provided this to you when you made contact.
We explained this in detail, and also advised that we would be more than happy for you to return the item when it arrives and we would action a full refund for you. We are, of course, still happy to proceed with this for you.
Please do not hesitate to get back in touch with us if you have any further questions or queries.
Once again, apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

mixed neutral samples
I bought the mixed neutral samples. Arrived promptly and just got to decide which colour is best for my kitchen units. Fab quality.

This is a lovely paint
This is a lovely paint, only needed a couple of coats - the colour is lovely and rich - it's a bit chalky though for a kitchen paint. The only complaint is that it isn't durable near to my cooker. I have a stainless steel splashback, but the steam escapes a little bit and the paint has melted - such a shame as I now have to either think of extending the splashback or repainting the wall.

Rustoleum garage door paint
Used Rustoleum garage door paint in matt black in September 2025. Initially it looked fabulous. The door had never been painted before. Once the weather turned wet and cold the paint began to chip and peel. The door is a complete mess now and I will have to strip it all off in the spring. Absolute rubbish.

Where is the paint?
The paint has not yet been delivered by fedex. It was supposed to be Saturday, then Monday and then today. Firstly they said they had delivered it, on Saturday, which was a lie. Then it was supposed to be delivered yesterday between 8 and 12.30. That was later changed to 10.30 pm. And then to today. I stayed in all day yesterday and will have to do the same today. Painter was starting today so that had to be postponed. One of the reasons I chose your firm was because of the quick delivery and I have been let down.

I have been very impressed with…
I have been very impressed with Rust-oleum. It has been the first time I have purchased a colours and found them true to what is pictured. I will be only purchasing from this company from now on as I have wasted so much money over the years from big brands who fall short.

Terrible customer care
Terrible customer care. I mistakenly ordered satin finish. I meant to order matt finish. Corrected the mistake within 5 minutes, before anything had been dispatched. Request to replace with matt refused, meaning I have to order the matt in addition to being forced to accept the satin finish that I wanted it to replace.
