I used Safe.I.S for both fire extinguisher service and FRA, they turned up when they said they would, they were lovely polite people, done the job and left. no fuss, no mess, no messing about. their costs are also really reasonable. I will be continuing to use them in future

Most unimpressed with Safe IS and it just keeps grinding on and on. We are a charitable foundation running a retreat centre and had the fire system installed (brand new at a charge of more than £12,000) by the company 18 months ago. Apart from the 3 (falsely!) alarming occasions on which sensors went haywire last year, we have just had a terrible week of the entire house (with paying residents) being woken repeatedly in the middle of 2 consecutive nights with 2 more sensors faulty. Three times in 48 hours our whole evacuation routine for 10 (supposedly resting!) guests and staff had to be mobilised. Now we have been presented with an eyewatering bill in which the callout fee alone is £150 which, strangely, seems not to cover any travel or labour, which are additionally billed for. And then VAT on the top of all of that as well. The engineer who finally turned up (after we were forced by the office to agree to inflated fees before they'd even make a call to an engineer!) was on site for about 15 minutes tops, replacing the faulty sensors but nothing more. The questions are these:
1. What does the callout fee actually pay for if not travel and labour?
2. Surely any record of our historical dealings with the company might prompt a more thorough check of other equipment in the building as they were all installed at once? An entire faulty batch perhaps?
3. How many times do we, as a charity, have to pay a full rate of VAT on equipment that is possibly dodgy?
We certainly do not feel well looked-after by Safe IS at all!!

Joe carried out our inspection. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable and helpful. There was none of the usual pressure of being worried about an inspection as Joe was very approachable and friendly and explained any issues we had - without being judgemental. He gave good, helpful advice, which is an excellent approach. It really felt that he was there to help us, not to cause problems - after all it is about keeping everyone safe and we both had the same goal.

Good overall experience. Would recommend to use.

Great service, very detailed training with a great tutor. I've done a few courses like this and it is by far the best.

The training was informative and succinct. The instructor was knowledgeable and has a great way of explaining procedures and risks.

We received training from Nick Barnes who was amazing and very knowledgeable. The level of training was to a very high standard.

Grant came to complete our fire safety assessment which was a large piece of work. He was extremely pleasant and polite, did not interrupt the workflow on the day and was very competent and well informed. He provided advice to find reasonable solutions, considerate of the potential financial impact on the organisation

Feed back from staff attending the course was positive, everyone said it was interesting and concise, a good refresher for those who had done the course before and detailed for those whom, had never done the course before. Thank you.

it was interesting and real life situations and examples were used to aid trainee understanding

We have used SafeIS twice now for fire marshal training and each time the delegates have been enthusiastic after the training. The content is up to date and relevant and the trainers have real life experience which makes a huge difference.

The response times are quick and prices are reasonable.

We will continue to use SafeIS for all of our training needs.

SAFE I.S. has been completing work for our Charity for a number of years and are always prompt and have done great work.

Attended our Secondary school for Marshall training. Prompt and well addressed to staff. Good price for the staff refresher.

Friendly service. Attended site at appointed time and carried out risk assessment in a friendly yet professional manner. He also gave me time to find documents that I'd forgotten to print and put in the folder for him, and provided advice and information when asked.

The Online Fire marshal training, was delivered at a steady pace for all, although we did get some technical issues and some could not see videos that where shown. The presenter was friendly and delivered the course well. If i was to score it I would say 8/10.

great provider with great fire warden instructors. Will definitely use them for future workshops.
