What persuaded me to pay the extra is knowing that the animals were well cared for and fed good stuff in accordance with halal requirements which make's animal well being very important. I didnât like the order came 1 day late and had doubt on the meats whether it was safe to eat or not. It did have a smell but the staff at saffron alley said the meats usually will last around 50 hours during transit.

Delivery was on time in a chilled box. Meat was in packages that you can freeze all labelled which is great.
Tatsewise,nice and tender we have had chicken thighs and mince so far with other meat in the freezer to try. I have ordered twice,yes its dearer but you are paying for the quality and no hormones for me is a major one especially my children. Will be repurchasing I would say order in bulk to save on delivery charges.
