While we understand the magazine and podcast may not be to everyone’s taste, we’re proud of the work we produce and the community we’ve built — a community that values honest discussion, varied opinions, and real cruising experiences.

We’re also proud to stand by our editorial independence, which includes calling out behaviour we believe damages the credibility of the cruise community. We’ll continue to focus on producing content that resonates with our readers and listeners who value transparency over polish.

Sail Away Magazine is created by a global team of experienced writers, including contributors with bylines in The Washington Post, The Telegraph, and The Guardian, as well as authors, naval architects and respected travel influencers... who don't cheat! Every issue is edited and proofread by a professional with over 25 years in journalism, and our design is handled by a creative lead with more than a decade of experience working with leading cruise brands in the UK.

We’ve built something we’re incredibly proud of – a magazine that offers a mix of trusted expertise and authentic opinions from a broad range of voices. Judging by the overwhelmingly positive response from our readers, your view is very much in the minority. Nonetheless, we appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. You can't win them all, as they say!
