Total garbage! The fee that you have to pay to open messages and reply to them is extremely high. It's a lot higher than on reputable legit platforms like J4Feel.com
However the most terrible thing is that you get to pay this high fee to exchange messages with bots. It's plain AI. Don't expect to get connected with real people. Bots never misspell, they may use slang unnaturally. You often notice that scripted phrases are repeated by different bots (the alleged women) in different (sometimes inappropriate) situations. And if we ignore our ego and face the truth we will easily notice that the photos are suspiciously perfect.

I am genuinely astonished by the poor standard of customer service and the overall quality of the app. In my view, there are several alternative apps that function far more effectively. I used this app a few months ago and purchased a three-month subscription, which is due to expire on 3 December. However, every time I attempt to reinstate my subscription, I am met with the message, “Oops, something has gone wrong,” and this has been happening for several days now.

I have emailed Salaam on at least six occasions and have received only one response. To make matters worse, even when I try to purchase a new subscription—simply to avoid the inconvenience—the app will not allow me to do so. Once you manage to access the app, the experience deteriorates even further.

If a member of the Salaam administrative team is reading this, I would appreciate it if you could kindly get in touch.

What A Scam, Do Not Waste Your Money,

Just like the many others, I can only echo that this is pure fake bulls**t…full of bots and no genuine people. Stay away people.

Biggest scam ever! This app is pure trash and a total money trap. They fool you into buying a subscription, then keep sucking more money for every single thing — likes, messages, boosts — and in the end you get NOTHING! It’s a complete rip-off, run by greedy scammers who just want your cash. Don’t even download this garbage app — you’ll only lose your money and your patience. Stay far, far away from Salam app!

I signed up to Salaam on the Gold plan, and shortly after was encouraged to upgrade to Diamond with the reassurance that my Gold payment would be refunded. Unfortunately, that refund has still not been processed.

I followed their instructions to reach out via the in-app contact form while logged in, and have done so three separate times. Each time, I receive the same unhelpful response: “Unfortunately, we were unable to locate the profile with the details you’ve provided so far.” This has left me going in circles with no resolution.

In terms of functionality, the app itself feels very underdeveloped. For example, despite setting my preferences to a 30km distance, I was repeatedly shown profiles over 1000km away. It also seems the user base is extremely limited, and basic features you’d expect such as seeing which profiles you’ve liked are missing entirely.

I have since cancelled my subscription and am still waiting for my refund. Overall, this experience has been disappointing and gives the impression of a poorly managed platform, if not outright misleading in its practices.

Don’t sign up for the Salams app if you’re Muslim. They will make it impossible to delete your profile. When you message them to help delete it they provide vague reasons and road blocks that don’t make sense since you need a phone number to sign up in the first place. They claim we can’t find the phone number or email that you signed up. They are not user friendly and their customer service is automated and when a person does respond and you ask for further help they will ghost you.

It is a well designed algorithm scam. I purchasing the app and during my membership i only got “friends likes” as in other guys. As soon as my membership ended, “blurred girls” started appearing in the likes section stating “you received alot of attention while you were away” please save your money and stay away

After paying £58.99 for 3 months subscription, 6 days in, I randomly get logged out of my account with no option of logging back in!!!
Worst app ever! Ive emailed customer support and have had no response, and on top of that, google play will not refund me either. A lot of money for service i never received. AVOID THIS APP!!

I don't know who's more r*tarded, the AI used to scan profile pictures or the so-called "admins". Constantly removing pictures for no reason and then being rude when you contact them. BTW - use the free version as the paid version is no better

I had the same experience as Mina, I cannot log back into my account since the last update and the customer service does not bother to help. There is no way to reach them and you will instead only be spammed with auto messages. Don't bother to create an account here as you won't even be able to access it. So comforting to know there is an account of myself with pictures and everything yet unable to access it or get it deleted in any way...

If i could i would give 0 rating Waste of time seriously, this app is horrendous. Do not download it. Do not waste your time and money. They don't show your face to anybody. They just want your money, that's all, it's not about dating, just taking your money. I just unloaded it. After 4 mounth wasting my time it even depressed i feel like a loser woth this bs app

I am absolutely gutted. I was a salams member for a year and felt it represented what Muslims today were looking for in support of the searches, which was free for women, however i just paid for the first time and this app is horrendous.

It feels very seedy and budgeted, they have lost all of the best features and I definitely will not be subscribing again.

Waste of money. It is just another app for to spend all of your time on and they will charge you for the most basic things.

HOW DO I GET MA MONEY BACK????

The latest update and change of ownership has destroyed this app. I’ve been a paid member off and on for 5 years (spending €00s) and have just cancelled my membership, how does a software update strip an app of 70% functionality (e.g no zoom, no bookmarking, filters don’t work, no location info, no history of likes, passes etc..). It used to be called Minder and the joke was that it’s a Muslim Tinder. Now it has become Tinder.

Used this app in the past and it was decent but went off it for some time and came back on and in the past 24 hours, Iv had 4 males like my profile (I am a male) it’s like there is some kind of deliberate attempt to mess people about on the app, As previously Iv had likes from women but not one since the update/change of ownership.
