Warranty protection is not provided. The contact information leads nowhere. No reply to emails. No one picks up the phone. If you buy products from this vendor DO NOT expect any service after sale. I have the emails and contact attempts to back this up. Buyer be ware.

Very disappointed with the customer service. The equipment is still under warranty, yet I have received no contact or follow-up regarding the warranty issue. Despite reaching out numerous times, there has been no meaningful response or effort to resolve the problem. Phone doesn't work.

If zero stars were an option, that is what I would select.

I purchased a salt cell from Salt Pool Store that came with a five-year warranty. I have owned the unit for exactly two years, and it is no longer functioning.

I followed the warranty instructions provided on the company’s website and submitted a request for an exchange. Their confirmation indicated that someone would respond within 2–3 days. After waiting two full weeks without receiving any response, I submitted a second warranty request. I still have not received any communication.

A five-year warranty is only meaningful if the company actually responds to customers when warranty service is needed. I have followed their required process, provided them ample time to respond, and attempted more than once to resolve the issue directly.

At this point, I am extremely disappointed with both the product and the lack of customer service. I simply want Salt Pool Store to honor the warranty that was included with my purchase and respond to my claim.

I ordered a salt cell replacement for my salt system. I purchased a Platinum Edition Replacement Salt Cell for Hayward, T-Cell 9, with a 5-year warranty. This was in May of 2024. I used it for two seasons, and now the cell is bad. The company will not respond to contact attempts. From what I am reading and experiencing, it seems they are a scam company. This is so disappointing that so many companies are like this. I feel like this is all I get done. Beware; stay away from this company.

SCAM COMPANY!!!! STAY AWAY, they sell you a cheap knock off cel with a “5 year warranty” That doesn’t exist once you purchase. True scumbags from Australia from what I hear. COMPANY NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN!!!

purchase a Platinum Edition Replacement Salt Cell in Jun of 2025 it failed in Jun of 2026. Tried every method I could find to contact the company for warranty (5 years) replacement. No response what so ever from the company.

Product is no good, Warranty is no good, Customer Service is non-existent.

I bought the premium compupool t cell 15 aug 29th 2023. The cell came with 5 year limited warranty. The cell stopped working lityle after 2 years. I tried to reach out to them to claim my warranty and first no one replied to my emails which i sent repeatedly. I privided all they asked for and still no reply. I called repeatedly and finally a lady answred the phone and told me she will call me in a week when they have the cells in stock. I found it weird because the cells were in stock and the were selling them. Subsequent calls went unanswered and a few days trying a Mark answered the ohone and said the warranty handled my our other store saltpoolstore.com and i will send them an email to reach out to you. You guessed it right no replies from anyone including Mark. Buyer be aware i definitely hada frustrating experience. I tried telling them my pool is turning green while you guys are yanking my chaim. If the did not want to honorntheir warranty the could have just told me so i could make other arrangements. I finally broke down and bought s new one, definitely NOT from them. T9 Premiere cell purchased may 2024 stopped working. After reading reviews im not gonna pursue warranty claim since apparently it is pointless, costly and time consuming. Submitting this for another 1 rating on a product that lasted 2 years for $309. Don't buy from them! I am one in a million who got scammed. Read reviews first!

ZERO STARS! Salt Pool Store is nothing but a scam. 0 customer support, 100% aggravation!

Stay away from this company! They do not warranty their products. Just try calling their number1-888-874-2120. None of the prompt's work. You will get a person on the phone 1 out of 10 calls. Once you do and give them the reason for call, they will say hold while I check on this for you and they never return and hang up. I am completely feed up with trying to get a replacement. I am now going to get a lawyer to make contact with them. Its completely crazy how they treat customers after purchase.

The salt cell is still running after 6 months, so I didn't give them a rating of 1. However, I did get a bill from fedex, after purchasing the salt cell 6 months ago, for the custom's charges that these shysters' didn't pay or make me aware of at the time of purchase. I'll never visit this site again and recommend that you don't either.

I bought a T-15 salt cell that came with a 5 year warranty. Product failed after 15 months. Filed a claim twice on this product purchase on SaltPoolStores' warranty portal and received an email after each filing claiming they would get back to me as soon as possible. It has been nearly a month and they have still not responded.

Like everyone else here, their product does not last and when attempting to submit a warranty claim, you get no response. Just stay away.

I purchased a Platinum Edition Replacement Salt Cell T-9 for my Hayward Goldline AquaRite 900 (~25,000-gallon pool) from Salt Pool Store on June 25, 2023 (Order #SPS64492) for $309.99. The prominent 5-year warranty advertised on saltpoolstore.com was the main reason I chose them - I viewed and relied on that ad multiple times before buying.

The cell failed in June 2025 after ~2 years. Symptoms: average salinity 300 ppm (test strips ~3,000 ppm), instant -0 ppm, amperage 0.00A (no chlorine), voltage 32.4V, temp 90–93°F, output 75%, no “No Flow” despite good flow (2000–3450 RPM >15 GPM min), AL-0 cell, r1.59 software - clear dead cell.

Filed warranty claim July 1, 2025 with diagnostics / photos. July 11 they said ship it. I shipped July 17 via USPS Tracking #9536 1123 9536 5198 1396 65 (delivered). Complete silence over 8 months as of March 10, 2026.

Follow-up emails ignored, phone calls dead air after 2+ min, early March formal demand (confirm Mar 7, ship Mar 11) - zero reply.

This matches Salt Pool Store's pattern exactly. BBB (saltpoolstore.com, Atlanta GA with Knoxville TN ties): F rating, not accredited, “Pattern of Complaints,” 286 complaints last 3 years, 141 last 12 months - mostly warranty non-fulfillment after shipping cells, ignored communication. Trustpilot / Sitejabber ~1.1 / 5; hundreds call the 5-year warranty bait for early failures and scam support.

With my pool opening April 4, 2026 I was forced to buy genuine Hayward TCELL925 elsewhere (~$700–$900) to save the season. The extra cost, wasted time chasing them, stress, and overall frustration are outrageous.

Now filing BBB complaint and small-claims under Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act for refund + costs.

Do not buy from saltpoolstore.com - their advertised “5-year warranty” is deceptive advertising meant to lure customers in. Save yourself the headache and money by going with established, reputable pool suppliers who actually stand behind what they sell from the start.

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM - I ordered a salt cell replacement online - they didn't send the right one - no customer service - phones unanswered. I got a bill from fed ex for shipping payment.

We have a warranty problem our salt cell is bad and only have it for a year and a half we filled the warranty form and waited for 48 hrs and no response then we send a follow up email and no response then we try to call lo luck there either we even tried to chat and nothing this company is a scam please don’t use this company save your money

I spent $25.00 to send the Cell to Michigan to an address that apparently does not exist. The cell is supposedly under warranty. There is no answer at the phone number or it just disconnects. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!
