I recently had a hair transplant at Saphir Hairclinic, and I have to say that I was very satisfied with the entire process. When I arrived at the airport, I was received without any major problems and taken to the hotel where I was accommodated during my stay. The hotel was really good and offered all the amenities one could wish for.

During the operation itself, I had no pain, which I appreciated very much. The staff was very professional and friendly and answered my questions at any time. It was reassuring to know that I was well taken care of throughout the process.

Even after the operation, the contact person remained in regular contact with me and answered my questions at any time. I really felt well taken care of and supported, which is very important when undergoing such a treatment.

Overall, my experience with Saphir Hairclinic was extremely positive. I would recommend this clinic to anyone considering a hair transplant.

I have waited a year to write this review. If this review refuse a single customer, I'll be happy.
With so many hair transplant clinics with a great results, this clinic should be avoided.
First of all, even during texting I said I'd prefer to do at least 5000+ grafts and a 2 days procedure. They said it wont be neccessary, that max 3500 will be enough. And I'd said I want my crown area to be more filled as it was my desired area to have more hair.
Upon arrival we had a meeting where they finally acknowledged my wishes and decided they will upgrade me to DHI technique, free of charge. As that technique is more seccessful for that area. Although I said multiple times I want my crown area to be done properly, doctor always repeated "yeah, but your frontline is something you'll always see and what others see". My answer to that is that I dont care as much for the front line as for my crown area.
After meeting with a doctor, I had surprise meeting with some guy, who sold me a year supply of supplements for a more successful procedure. For a 6 months as a minimum recommended period it was 700€, 9 months 900€ and a year a 1000€. I bought a year supply.
The procedure itself lasted from 7:40 when they started to give me anesthesia in a donor area and was done at 12:10. 4,5 hours overall.
After that doctor came, as the procedure was done by technician and she said they've done a 3000 grafts. I'd like to know, how have they managed extract 3000 grafts and insert 3000 grafta within less then 4 hours (anesthesy time excluded). And with a techique that takes more time. A friend of mine had also hair transplant and his 4200 grafta took full 11,5 hours.
After that I got an sandwich and a drink and I managed to see myself in a mirror.
I was horrified with what I've seen. They filled my hairline and left my crown area sporadicly filled. Like we never had the meeting where they did acknowledged my wishes. I've called for doctor, but some other doctor came (not the main female dr., but some with a beard) and he pursuaded me it is a good amount for crown area and that specially because I bought that hair products my hair will be much denser and full after some time, that I think at that moment. And if I wont be satisfied with the result I'll come back, free of charge and they'll fix it.
To be honest, procedure was not easy. In that moment I was so exausted I lacked the energy to fight for what I have asked and paid for.
I'm mad because that procedure took 3 weeks of my vacation time, costed overall over 3500€ and recovery was not easy. A lot of sleepless nights in the first few days, a lot of pain in the donor and transplanted area. Just to go back and do all over again. No, thank you.
Do I have more hair, in comparison prior procedure? Yes. Do I amount of hair I wanted and was ready to pay for? No.
You can see photos right after procedure and a year after. As you can see, I got their "hairline" but not what I wanted.
Avoid this clinic at any cost.

There aren’t enough words to write here that would describe my wonderful experience with Sapphire Hair Clinic.

I had considered a hair transplant for over a year before finally setting a date and choosing a clinic. Being from the UK i researched a number of local and abroad clinics and finally decided that Turkey was where I should go to have it done. I done lots of research on clinics and eventually found Sapphire Hair Clinic. Their reviews and work looked amazing and after a very thorough consultation by WhatsApp I knew it was the right clinic for me and I felt safe being in their care.

The coordination and translation team were so helpful with all my questions, also helping me arrange flights, they booked my accommodation and arranged transfers to and from the airport as well as the hospital for the surgery and check up appointments.

I’m now month 4 post operation and the results have far surpassed my expectations. Thanks to the wonderful team at Sapphire my confidence is back and I’m feeling a lot happier in general.

For anyone considering Sapphire Hair Clinic for a hair transplant, do not hesitate booking! I can assure you will be delighted with the treatment and results.

Received a quote based on photos for Saphir hair transplant. After arrival, an additional charge was imposed for an additional technic. This seems to be common practice. Highly overpriced vitamins were also imposed. The surgery took 8 hours and the whole setup was rather unprofessional and cheap, unlike their pricing. The promised washing on the next day did not happen. The shampoo and lotion were confiscated at the airport, as they were in 125ml bottles. The doctor promised that there will not be an issue at the airport and refused to write a perscription. I received a credit note for the vitamins with the promise that the money will be wired the next day. This has been pending for 3 months now and I will have to get legal assistance to receive my money back.

L'opération c'est très bien passée, ils sont à l'écoute, très professionnels et la clinique impeccable.

I had my first of 2 HT at Sapphire hair clinic and i was pleased by the experience of their professional staff and consults. They are with you in every step you take. I was so happy with the results i got and booked the second HT for next week knowing im in a good hands.

I’m very happy with the doctor Okan Morkoç. He was very attentive to my needs and very human.The result of my BBL I did 8 months ago is exactly what I was asking for. Everything went perfect.
The clinic and clinic rooms are spacious and clean. The personal and nurses are very professional and competent.

I was very impressed by the professionalism and service of this clinic. Melissa was instrumental in working with my itinerary and handled logistics to best fit my schedule as I was flying in to Turkey for this procedure. The translators were helpful in effective communication. Overall the expertise of the doctors and nurses showed experience and boosted my confidence.

I had the best experience ever. Been on another clinic in uk and they did an horrible job. Went to them had the fantastic breast augmentation that I was expecting from dr okan and my husband had his hair transplant in January they are growing every day more!!! The team was lovely . Every person took care of us and the doctor is the sweeter person ever he really listen to your needs and do his job with passion!!

I can give my best recommendation for the whole team and Sapphire Hair Clinic! I fly all by myself to Istanbul and got a hair transplantation and liposuction, but it feels completely safe. The whole team plan the transport and hotel from day one. The service was in top and people are very kind and friendly!
The whole pre operation procedure and interviews was very professional so it feels safe to start the operation. The surgery are very professional and have made an amazing and natural results! Now it’s 5-6 months since I got my operations and I love it ! My hair is growing well and my body looks completely as I have hoped.

I will for sure recommend my friends this clinic because you are guaranteed top quality what comes to service, location and professional surgery.

I had the transplant 2 months ago and therefor can not say much about the result but the experience as a whole with Saphir was not negative. Just one aspect really bothers me: a friend of mine who had been to another clinic had the area under his chin also used as donor area, with excellent result and without extra costs
When before operation at Saphir I asked if they also use the beard as donor area the doctor said no. When I asked why not she answered that it is possible but for an extra payment of 1000 euros which I considered too much. Then they asked what I was willing to pay and I said 500 euros and they accepted that. In the end very few grafts were taken from the beard area, certainly not the 500 they said they would take from there. All in all the handling of my request seemed more appropriate for an bazar than at a hospital and until today I have the feeling this has been money not well spent because also now I don’t understand what justifies the extra payment they asked for and because in the end they didn’t take much from this area.
Pity because this leaves me somewhat suspicious about an experience that otherwise would have been overall positive.

From staying in luxurious hotel to the surgery and post-surgery, everything was such a pleasant experience. All the staff of Sapphire Hair Clinic was very supportive and helpful at every point. Doctor suggested me to go for DHI and FUE Sapphire, which was really necessary for my hair thinning and male pattern baldness. The surgeons were expert and very careful with the procedure. They pay special attention to each and every patient. All my doubts and questions were solved before and after surgery. Thank you so much Sapphire Hair Clinic Team for everything.

I visited sapphire for breast reduction surgery with Dr Okan Morkoc. I am from the UK so going abroad for surgery was a very daunting aspect for me. I received a quote for the surgery but I suppose I was hesitant as the clinic is called sapphire hair, so I presumed that's what they specialised in. However this is not the case so don't be fooled by the name, the clinic does every type of surgery you can think of and to a very high standard. I had contacted a number of medical surgeries abroad but none were as helpful and thorough as sapphire. Melissa was and has been my go to person and answered all the questions I had, she has been invaluable throughout the process and the most helpful lady, nothing has been too much trouble. I had plenty of notifications from leaving home to getting the operation done and the recovery and follow up appointments after. I am still here and due to fly home in 2 days time. After the operation obviously there is an element of pain immediately, I told the nurses and were given pain medication and I can honestly say I have not felt a thing since, which I think is quite remarkable after a 5 hour operation with such big wounds. The Hilton Garden Inn Hotel they use for your stay after the hospital has been amazing too, very helpful staff, very good food standard, and so polite if you require anything at all. There were translators at the hospital at every appointment they spoke very good English and were very helpful. The transport between the hotel and hospital and airport have all been so pleasant and on time and very nice private cars used. I have to say the hospital standard out here outweighs any NHS hospital in the UK. It was so modern flat screen TV's built into the wall, meticulously clean and modern and so bright to recover in. I will be recommending to many friends I have to visit here for procedures and not to have it done in the UK. I Had the best Operator ever. She took the time to explain me everything, she was always there for explanations and advice, the clinic was good structured, and the translate helped me a lot by understanding what the next step will be. Ezra the one who did the main part of the surgery was really passionate and understood what I wanted! After the surgery we cried together bc it was so emotional for me and I was so happy with the result. Still looking forward to let the hair grow. All ppl put so much effort in it. I’m really glad that I did this in the clinic. Even the aftercare with my operator Melissa was cute and lovely and professional as always. She was a big help to calm me down when I got nervous. The hotel is the only thing I would not recommend. It is pretty but the walls are so thin I could hear everything on the floor.

The moment I stepped of the plane I already knew exactly where to go because they sent me pictures of the waiting area.

Everything was taken care of, from transport, hotel and the surgery it’s self. The whole thing is planned and implemented with precision.

La semama pasada me hice el implante capilar y debo reconocer que iba con desconfianza por ser en el extranjero, por algún comentario negativo leido sobre la clínica y porque me costaba creer que casi todos los comentarios sean tan buenos. Después pude comprobar la razón de que esto sea así. Afortunadamente mi experiencia fue fantástica, el trato recibido fue muy bueno y la profesionalidad de la Dra. Ezra y su equipo de 2 personas ha sido altisima, me he sentido muy bien tratado en una operación que duro 8 horas y en la cual no pararon ni un minuto. El postoperatorio esta siendo muy bueno también y estoy muy feliz con el resultado. Dato práctico, al momento de pagar, recomiendo hacerlo en efectivo y en euros, os ahorrareis las comisiones de las tarjetas y estamos hablando de una cantidad importante de dinero. En resumen, totalmente recomedable.

I have been debating and wanting to have a hair transplant for many years. After much research and lots of conversations I settled on Sapphire Hair Clinic. I am not your average patient as I was born with a Heart Defect and as a result take certain medications. Throughout all the conversations I was always open and honest about this and Sapphire were so helpful and engaging with me in helping me to make the procedure happen. They took every precaution possible and even made an appointment for me to see a Cardiologist the day before surgery to double check everything was safe and I was their number one priority.

From the very beginning Melissa was always on hand to answer my questions. Naturally some of my questions (health related) were technical however she was always able to speak with the team and come back to me. This was very reassuring as I had to be a little more careful than most. She is amazing.

Upon arriving in Turkey I was still a little anxious however once I got to the hospital and met the team my reservations were quickly put to ease. The hospital was amazing and the staff couldn't do enough for me as a patient. I was involved in all the conversations and everything was explained clearly to me.

From start to finish the procedure and the people exceeded my expectations. Very little to no pain with the operation, and 6 weeks out so far I am very pleased.

If I was to add one point which is not as positive it would be that whilst at my first consultation I was advised that I should buy shampoo for the 12 months after the operation. The price was very high and I was surprised I had not been told that I could potentially need this. If I had have known prior to arriving I could potentially have budgeted for this. The aftercare was provided, a bottle of serum and shampoo however I am a little unclear as to what next now my shampoo has run out. I felt some options and solutions could have been better communicated.

Needless to say it is the best thing I have done and I am delighted I went with Sapphire Hair Clinic.

Well, I should have done more research. My expectations was not met. if you are thinking of getting a hair transplant in Turkey, avoid Sapphire Hair clinic.

I was very hesitant at start and didn't want to think too much about the process. Sapphire clinic explained everything very clearly beforehand and once arrived. The staff are very polite and friendly. The service from airport to drop off was superb. The surgery itself done in less than 5 hours and no pain after the surgery at all. The hotel was very nice and helpful too. I am now just waiting for the results. The staff are constantly in contact with me after I have left turkey for any questions and further instructions. Excellent service.
