Our love of books and beautiful textiles comes together in CHAPTER & TWEED Using genuine Harris Tweed, we create book sleeves, Bible covers, journal covers and other bookish pieces designed to protect and celebrate the stories that matter to you. Thoughtful, tactile and made to last, CHAPTER & TWEED is all about the pleasure of books, beautiful fabrics and things made by hand. Then there is BUTTON ALCHEMY— our more colourful and curious side. Here, ordinary buttons, beads and little treasures are transformed into unexpected pieces of art. Curious art made from little things. What starts as a collection of tiny individual pieces becomes something entirely different — fruit, flowers, creatures, wildlife and whatever else sparks the imagination. It's playful, tactile, colourful and a little bit magical. Two worlds. One creative spirit. Fantastic Communication Between Store and Client

Sarah Jayne Designs gets an easy five stars rating. One of the best things about dealing with this business is the communication between the store's owner and the customer. That's me! Whenever I had a question about the order, I received a timely and clear answer. Also, the merchandise is superb. I am really stoked about my new Bible cover, the third one that I have purchased from Sarah Jayne Designs.

Bought two bible sleeves after our trip


Bought two bible sleeves after our trip to Harris. Very pleased with the fit of bible sleeve for my book and will give 5 stars, the other is a little snug when lining up the magnetic buttons,to the point I checked the measurements that I submitted. Which were correct, Hence the 4 star review. A great product and would recommend to anyone interested in a book sleeve

Bespoke, heirloom quality

Sarah has created a bespoke, heirloom quality cover that gives great protection while matching the quality and magnificence of my premium Bible. I have found that the cover enhances my experience when I come to read it everyday and it is something I will last past my lifetime.

Beautiful book sleeve!

Sarah was very accommodating and attentive to my questions and requests. She even took some time to send me a sample of what I was thinking. She communicates throughout the process and gave me realistic timeline for delivery. The book sleeve arrived on time and was very incredibly well made. Very high quality and details!
