Lovely holiday. Great food and service. Interesting tours. Staff helpful and cheerful. Also journey made easier being offered business class flight as we both have some mobility problems where long time queuing is difficult. Booking easy as done by phone rather than online. Thank you Scenic.

Very efficient & comfortable & excellent cruise director

The ship was immaculate, the balcony suite was spacious with lots of storage space. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble . The food was exceptional with a large selection of eating options. The trips offered a wide choice with excellent guides. The whole trip was a real delight it made our golden wedding anniversary very special.

Generally excellent, but let down by spending extra time on coaches for arrival and some tours.

Great location, great activities, very good accommodation, very good guides and lovely people on my tour

We have done many sea cruises with many different companies, but this was our first river cruise. We now much prefer river cruising because the smaller boat lends itself to a more convivial atmosphere on board. The staff on the boat were really good and on occasions were exceptional. My wife wanted to go to church on Easter Sunday in Lyon and a member of staff sourced an English speaking within walking distance of the mooring and accompanied my wife to and from the service.
The food was excellent and each evening the Head Chef and Restaurant Manager took the time to enquire amongst the passengers that they were satisfied with their meals.
Cabin staff were attentive without being obsequious.
The trips were excellent and well organised with an interesting variety of options. The French guides on all the tours that we joined were very knowledgeable, very affable, a pleasure to be with and they enhanced the experience of the trip.
We attended a couple of Enrichment Evenings which were unusual and very interesting.
Everything was included in the price which made financial planning so much easier. There were no hidden extras.
We enjoyed it so much that we purchased sales vouchers for a future cruise that we will definitely be doing.

Scenic are just such a great business.

Everything was first class. Accommodation, food, service from the professional and friendly staff and all tours were superb. Our 5th Scenic riverboat cruise and we will certainly be doing more trips with them. Have no difficulty recommending this company for 5 star holidays

The Quality and organization makes Scenic better than the rest

Excellent staff, well planned itineraries, comfortable and clean cabins with plenty of space, great food and drink, congenial companions.

Really interesting trip, great staff, great food, visited places I wouldn’t necessarily have opted to visit for a longer holiday, but were beautiful/ interesting. Local guides really brought everything to life.

Our experience with Scenic (Danube river cruise) was exceptional. This was our first cruise and we were not sure it was for us but we loved it, thanks in no short measure to the onboard team. The morale of the team was high, they were diligent, professional, responsive and personable. Also we were very impressed by the calibre of the senior team. The excursions we went on were all well run with highly competent, knowledgeable and fun leads.
The only small negative was the courier who accompanied us from Munich airport to the Ship. His rather manic, overly jocular style was at odds with the clientele. He described himself as an actor dancer. Most of us had had very early starts and we certainly didn't need lengthy descriptions of Germany's autobahns and power stations. The route was a dull motorway so not much to talk about. There was little to comment on and filling the time with 'teaching' us a German word and telling a couple of unfunny German 'jokes' was weird. I would have preferred silence and as we neared the ship an overview of the embarkation process. by the end of the transfer I feared thar we had made an awful mistake, thankfully we didn't meet his like again.

Very attentive staff, excellent service

The cruise, ship, staff and the food and drink were fantastic. Sadly the chauffeur service didn’t arrive and left me stranded!

Mostly truly amazing experience- shout out to all boat staff who were exceptional.
Only negative was lazy meet and greet scenic staff munich airport - in their office no sign - we had to phone boat to ask where they were - hopeless. Also terrible pick up by taxi at manchester - in wrong place and no meet and greet

Wonderful scenery, well organised tour, tour guide and coach driver very good company helpful and knowledgeable. Plenty of visits to interesting places. Good hotels and food.

Once we arrived on the ship our experience was five stars. The crew were attentive the level of comfort in the cabin and communal areas was excellent and the food at every meal had something to suit all tastes.
we were impressed at the planning of meals and the lack of waste that can sometimes be seen. The food quality was excellent. Drinks and food service was quick as was our nightly tea order from the butler service. we loved the daily port talks and there was lots of information around to ensure you got to the right place at the right time.
The organised trips that we enjoyed were well organised using local guides who brought towns and cities to life by giving an insight into daily life there.
Highlights for us were the private classical concert at the Vienna arsenal and our meal in the Italian restaurant whilst we sailed Budapest at night.
The only negative was our journey from Munich airport to the ship. We were left in Munich airport for two hours apparently waiting for passengers who did not arrive. Whilst we were kept informed at intervals we felt fobbed off and it was not the start we wanted or expected. The two hour delay meant we were last to board the ship and had to rush to make the orientation meeting followed by dinner. For the cost of the holiday after waiting an hour at the airport i would have expected some other form of transport to be provided for myself and another couple who were in the same situation as ourselves
