Went i to the store to try buy our son a scooter and the man ry behind the counter paid us no attention of mind so we had to ask another shopper for help picking a freestyle scooter.

Imen at Cockburn Central went above and beyond to help us with a faulty scooter that was purchased online that we received the previous day, there weâre no technicians on the weekend we travelled quite a distance as was advised to bring in the store and was disappointed as no appointments for a tech for over a month she managed to help us out and was an outstanding help should hire more people like this. She is an absolute asset to the store very professional and knowledgeable.

Booked in for warranty work S1 INMOTION , couldnât look at it for 2 weeks ( throttle jamming on ) drop it in 2 day early as it is unusable. Hear nothing, I ring the day after it was booked for, they are so busy they hadnât looked at it. And may look at it today if they arenât too busy. I had my Segway scooter for a week IâŠ
I had my Segway scooter for a week I contacted the store in Helensvale QLD to notify them the seat had split, I sent pictures. I have mobility problems that's why I bought one with a seat, they immediately said I had damaged it. I made it clear that was not the case. Then I was emailed by customer services Tiann who told me she was the customer service manager and was an expert in customer services and scooters.
She stated that the seat had been damaged by me, that it was clear from the pictures that I had torn it and burnt it, which was not the case at all, in fact on closer inspection I could see the seat had been repaired with some sort of vinyl glue. I pointed this out to Tiann and she said I had done it which was not the case. She then told me I had to go to Segway directly as scooter hut does not undertake any warranty work for Segway. Horrible service no way of knowing who did the repair, Probably Scooter Hut and now are just fobbing me off. I bought locally so if I ever had any issues I could go back to them. I should have purchased on line. The scooter is great I really thought Scooter Hut would have just said sorry and swapped it over for me. So now I have to share my experience with everyone. Terrible after sales service.

Beware of Defective Products and Poor Customer Service
I recently purchased a scooter from Scooter Hut Balcatta, and while the initial experience purchasing it was pleasant and the sales assistant was friendly and helpful, my experience since has been nothing short of disappointing and frustrating. From the moment I received the scooter, it was evident that something was wrong. Not only was it defective and faulty, but it posed a significant safety hazard due to accelerator consistently cutting out randomly in live traffic.
After returning the scooter almost immediately and contacting customer service I was told they could not do anything until a technician looked at the scooter to confirm. After continually chasing up customer service and enduring a lengthy process, it took them a whole month to acknowledge that the scooter was indeed defective, the technician even told me that this was an issue with a few of these models that he had even experienced first hand after opening one brand new from a box.
Instead of promptly addressing the issue, they made me jump through hoops, constantly giving me false updates and telling me it would be looked at "soon". This lack of urgency and accountability is unacceptable, especially when it comes to matters of safety.
To add insult to injury, when I requested a refund for the defective product, they initially refused and attempted to offer me inferior models or store credit as compensation.
Finally, after persistent pressure, they reluctantly agreed to provide a refund. However, their begrudging compliance came with no apology or consolation for the inconvenience and distress caused. It's evident that Scooter Hut prioritizes profit over customer satisfaction and safety.
I strongly advise against purchasing anything from Scooter Hut. Their lack of quality control, poor customer service, and disregard for consumer safety make them an unreliable and untrustworthy company. Save yourself the headache and potential danger, and take your business elsewhere.

Disgraceful Customer Service
I have had my scooter for a few months and had only done 200kms when it completely stopped and wouldn't start up again mid ride. I took it back to Scooter Hut in Fairfield where they claimed to have fixed the issue by replacing the board on the scooter.
The very next ride, the scooter once again stopped half way to my work leaving me strandard.
I took it back again to Scooter Hut where they said they will possibly look at a replacement.
I called a few days later and spoke to the rudest man on the phone. His name was Massimo.
He was completely dismissive of all my concerns. He told me they will look to replace the battery next admitting it is trial and error to find the fault.
My concern being a new scooter with only 200kms on the clock should not have these faults happening.
I asked him if he was the boss and he said no. I asked to speak to the boss and he wouldn't let me saying this isn't how it works and that I can deal with him.
His answer to my questions on the constant failure of the scooter is that they will try replace another part next time until they get it right.
Massimo later admitted he was in fact the manager of the store. If this is how rude and dismissive the manager is, I can't wait to see how bad the rest of the staff are there.

Sent my scooter in for repairs and it came back 5 months later unrepaired. Absolute nightmare trying to deal with the Fairfield store regarding the repairs and completely unacceptable delays.

Terrible customer service
Bought a scooter from here two years ago. Had it serviced there before. Booking in for a service now and they tell us they donât service our brand of scooter and we need to sign a waiver to say if they stuff it up theyâre not liable. Also called the Malvern East store to enquire about a tyre tube and Steve was a total pr*ck on the phone and made be feel like a moron. Our relationship with Scooter Hut is over.

Have to pay for repairs after 2 weeks
Please say âdonât over tighten the bolts on the stemâ I have had this scooter for 2 weeks and will now cost $200 to repair it because they assume I have overtightened the stem bolts. With no proof. So no warranty. I followed this video very carefully. Repairs will be done with no guarantee it wonât happen in 2 weeks again. Furious this Scooter Hut and business. So disappointed. 2 weeks old.

Lateness is not a good look.....
Come to collect an Electric scooter after a 3 week wait for a service & warranty replacement of front headlight. (Store hours 8.45am - 5pm.) But am still waiting at 9am to collect scooter, so I can then go to work. Lateness is not a good look for a Store Manager. Service technician is waiting with me, great guy.....

Donât buy from them
This company does not honour its obligations to replace or repair defective items. Bought a scooter back in Sep and the rear tyre kept going flat. They put me onto the manufacturer in China FFS. it still isnât on the road now as getting tubeless tyres fixed for scooters is nigh on impossible.
Took the tyre off myself and discovered a big gouge on the rim hence why it was deflating.
Major defect which Scooterhut cowboys
should have repaired under Australian Consumer Law but they clearly donât give a damn once theyâve got your money. Be careful.

As previously wrote relating to the Kaboo GT my son purchased 26th August 2023
Then error code reading Day 1
Within 3 weeks oil leaking down front forks into wheel housing, brake caliphers, boots nuts, cables coated in oil & took scooter into Fairfied Scooter Hut
18th September 2023 after being told would be replaced, once we arrived were told would need to be asssessed when you can see all the oil & how dangerous this makes riding the scooter a major fault requiring a replacement or refund .
Instead it was dangerously repaired missing bolts nuts clamps to hold handle bars to frame & alot of oil sitting in wheel hub all in brakes bolts nuts cables.
Broken cables, burnt melted cable covering, scratched immensely,very dangwous as it will not stop if brakes are applied due to the amount of oil all over major components.
Reply from Massimo states brakes need oil to work . Is this persons knowledge out of a team training manual or is he serious stating oil in brakes , wheel housing is safe ?? This oilis a result of front suspension forks leaking immense amounts of oil all down forks into brakes & wheel housing .
As shown in photos they have not attempted to replace tje forks as they are full of dirt from their workshop & the oil is sitting all over the scooter with damaged lights as photos were taken in store & No Repairs to be conducted on a replacement is requested.
Now my son who turned 16 first week in September 2023 taking his scooter out only 5 times prior to this major problem occurring & he had to walk it home is. Now he is very scared doesn't trust electric scooters as this is his life your company is stating is safe to ride afyer viewing photos taken & Massimo sending email . He wants a full refund & this dangerously damaged scooter that is missing many parts that they left in the store be picked up.
Shaun finally replied to my review missing the important issues raised in my review . You contradict yourself as we spoke after you Shaun called Stephanie's phone number you didn't realise it was me you were talking to thinking it was Stephanie.
My son wanted a replacement as he worked hard for his money saving every dollar.

Updates not included or provided regardless how many times we sent emails & phoned customer service. Until I stated I am calling on behalf of my son from Stephanie's phone then Shaun replied. As did Tiana as I wouldn't give up calling or sending emails . Tiana stated no replacement would be given & wanted address to send dangeous scooter back to my son which gratefully was delivered to my neighbours house. This was a blessing as she has full security systems with voice recording & cameras. Otherwise wwre told without address it would be deemed uncollected & disposed of . As it arrived next door under surveillance on 26th October 2023 all was recorded as unboxed & missing many important parts, badly damaged in workshop & still very unsafe dangerous to ride . We are awaiting a decent reply when someone will pick up this scooter which is not the same one we took into the store in Fairfield on the 18th September 2023.
As stated my 16 yr old now dies not want a replacement but a full refund.
Many reviews on Trust Pilot require alot of details prior to putting up honest reviews thank you unlike other sites .

18th September 2023 took scooter into Fairfield Scooter Hut
26th October 2023 returned tp my neighbours house badly damaged dangeous scooter oil in brakes ,wheel hub , wheel housing , cables, bolts nuts coated in thick oil & grime from workshop . Dirt in front forks as shown in photos shows wasn't replaced only wiped down . They want my son to have an accident & possibly cause his death if ridden .
Grateful bolts& nuts & clamp to attach handle bars to front frame are missing as this has saved my sons life as he was upset & would of taken it out endangering his life & the lives of other road users .
Enough silly excuses the proof is in the scooter that was delivered under security cameras to my neighbours home. This is an act of God to have all this evidence & proof of negligence with emails from your employees stating it is safe to have copious amounts of oil in the wheel housing & all in brakes & pads , cables , bolts ,nuts .
Do the right thing & refund a teenagers money
Come pick uo this scooter have it delivered to independent technician to see what the store in Fairfield has done.
Will supply all video footage from day 1 including in store,conversations taken when phone calls were answered & surveillance footage from neighbours cameras to you Shaun but do what's right & have scooter assessed by independent repairer for proper analysis

The best place for scooters
We just went shopping for a couple of scooters for ourselves at Malvern East Scooter Hut. Jonah was super helpful and friendly. He really knew his stuff. We walked out with 5 scooters today. 3 for the grand kids. They had scooters different age groups and sizes. We got a bit of a discount as well. Thanks again Jonah.
