Paperwork is very confusing, response erratic (sometimes good and sometimes really slow to the extent you think your question has gone into a bottomless pit), person responsible for property seems to change frequently and no-one informs you of the change, when maintenance needed often just get sent a quote with no info about problem.

Having had the worst experience with other property agencies, my experience with Scottfraser was so professional and customer orientated. Having had limited time to leave my previous house, thanks and gratitude goes to Sofia and the team that were involved during house search. I am so happy with the apartment.I will continue recommending your services a thousand times. Thanks once again for your support.

Living abroad necessitates us having a fully managed service for our house with Scott Fraser, we are therefore reliant on the relationship we have with our property manager to keep us updated and to act on our behalf as & when the need arises.

For the past year or so, we have had the good fortune to have Simon Butt as our property manager. During this time Simon has displayed professional, courteous, knowledgeable and very pro-active attributes. We had the misfortune to have issues with a tenant who instigated an early termination that eventually had to go through arbitration. Simon provided us with excellent support during the whole process & provided a wealth of documented evidence to the arbitrators to backup our case, resulting in the positive outcome of our claim.

I have exchanged e-mail messages & spoken on the telephone with Simon numerous times since he became our property manager. He is equally adept at written & verbal communication. His whole persona displays a high level of empathy & genuine willingness to help, he has a way of making any issue seem manageable and truly has gone that "extra mile" to ensure that we have been totally happy with & have fully understood the information he has provided.

Having Simon as our property manager has given us a trusted, professional & friendly point of contact for all rental matters regarding our property & tenants. In the 14 years that we have been landlords, we have dealt with numerous estate agents & property managers, I have never before felt as comfortable with or experienced the level of support & commitment that we receive from Simon.

I called Scottfraser Summertown three times to chase the return of my deposit. On each occasion I was promised a call back, and not once did anyone follow through. No one seemed able to explain why a straightforward UK bank transfer could take up to 10 days, nor did anyone take responsibility for providing an update. After almost 10 years as a tenant, the complete lack of courtesy, communication, and basic competence has been genuinely appalling. A very disappointing end to a long tenancy.

We have been landlords with Scott Fraser for a few years now and, while our experience has been quite mixed in the past due to issues with the Property Management side, we have noticed a huge improvement since Simon Butt became our Property Manager.

In the short time he has been our main point of contact, Simon has been extremely helpful, responsive, and professional. He has dealt with a couple of issues quickly and efficiently, keeping us updated both by email and phone. Most importantly, his communication has been excellent, which makes all the difference.

I was so impressed that I went into the Witney branch to let Samantha know personally what a great job Simon has been doing managing our property. We feel reassured having Simon looking after things and are very pleased with the positive change he has brought.

This is the first time my wife and I have engaged with Scott Fraser and we have been delighted with the experience. Renting a property can be stressful but from the moment we engaged with Callum all went well and we look forward to our moving in. It helps that the Landlord of the property is also incredibly helpful; she too deserves praise.

We were scheduled to have a viewing today at 10:00 on the 16th August. We called the agency to tell them we’re on our way and called them once we’d arrived, only to be told different stories.

First we were told there was no scheduled viewing booked for us. Then we were told the booking was actually scheduled for 12:30. Which we didn’t mind because we would’ve spent time in the city while waiting. WE THEN RECEIVED A CALL STATING THAT THE CURRENT TENANTS ARE ON HOLIDAY AND THE AGENT DOES NOT HAVE KEYS FOR THE HOUSE, FOR A VIEWING TO TAKE PLACE.

I’m sorry but this is very unprofessional and inconsiderate of our time. We drove all the way from Worcester. I’m at a loss for words. I won’t mention the names of the people involved because I believe we all make mistakes, however I needed to vent about this because I’m very annoyed.

The lady on the phone was lovely, apologised, and promised we’d get called on Monday to reschedule…

The agent by name callum, he is an amazing person, very patient and understanding, I still contact him if I don't understand anything. He returns your call anytime he is unable to answer your call. Such a wonderful person.
