Works really well, far better than ScrapingDog which I also tried. Results are abit on the slow side but still very happy.

I've been using Scrapebadger for several scraping and data collection projects and have been very happy with it.

The API is straightforward, the data has been reliable, and it saves me a lot of time compared with managing the scraping infrastructure myself.

This platform will facilitate the use of network analysis in an upcoming academic study. The platform is very useful for avoiding the high cost of the Twitter/X API.

It's easy to use, it's fast, and the price is not that high. Sometimes, with certain searches, it takes a lot longer than usual — if the average is around 6s, some requests take more than 20s. Aside from that, I think it's really good value.

As someone building AI agents and sentiment tracking tools, getting clean, real-time social data has always been a maintenance headache. Rotating proxies, solving CAPTCHAs, and dealing with Cloudflare challenges usually eat up half the build time.

ScrapeBadger completely removed that overhead. The endpoints return clean, structured JSON, the MCP integration fits naturally into agentic setups, and the reliability has been rock solid. I used ScrapeBadger for a social science research project where I needed to collect data from X systematically over specific time periods. So far, it has worked quite well for what I needed.

The advanced_search API was pretty straightforward to work with. The documentation is clear, the cursor-based pagination is predictable, and I like that the credit system is easy to understand. The PAYG credits also don't expire, which is useful for research projects where you may not need to run everything at once. There's also a free endpoint to check your credit balance, so you don't have to spend credits just to see how much you have left.

I ended up building my own pipeline around the API, processing the data in fixed time chunks and adding retry logic. I've left it running unattended for fairly long periods without major issues.

Overall, I'd say ScrapeBadger has been a reliable option for structured social media data collection, especially for academic research. Another advantage for me is the price. Compared with some of the alternatives I looked at, it seems quite affordable for the amount of data you can collect.

I've been using ScrapeBadger primarily to scrape Reddit data, and it has been an excellent solution. It's one of the most affordable scraping tools on the market while still delivering reliable performance. The implementation was very straightforward, and I was able to get everything running quickly without a steep learning curve. Interesting company, grateful for the easier access to google search APIs for keyword research - much lower barrier to entry than competition.
