Do not use this company. The ‘fit to fly’ postal PCR test is not fit for purpose. When you post your test back it goes to Barnsley, for them to then courier it back down to Cambridge?! Bonkers. I rang screen 4 as I was worrying about the length it was taking to arrive (not the 24 hours Royal Mail claim). I had to book another two tests, this time I used an Express Test site (they were amazing- results next day before 10.) The customer advisor was lovely and actually suggested I go get a walk in test as she didn’t think it would make it on time!
We made it on honeymoon and then on the second day we eventually got our screen4 results. 5 days after posting our tests!!!
It was even over the 48 hours from arriving at the lab. I’ve emailed to ask for a refund, two weeks later still no reply.

I used the Royal Mail pre printed envelopes included in the box my tests came in.
One test came back within 48 hours of reaching the lab. One didn’t. I have email with the time of 00:06 saying my test had reached the lab on the 9th Jan and then an email at 06:02 on the 11th Jan with my results. That’s over 48 hours.

I have finally received an email from screen4 that confirms that my best were over the 24-48 hours despite what the reply said on here. However they are now saying they don’t guarantee it within 24-48 hours.

Avoid this company for a travel fit to fly! Earliest I could test was 72 hours before flight, did that and posted within 1 hour. Now 19 hours before I’m due to fly and my results have not even reached the lab!

my wife had a pre-travel covid PCR test on 20th Jan 2022 - this was reported as positive the following morning. She suffered left sided chest discomfort on the same day and underwent NHS covid PCR test on 21st of Jan which was reported as negative!
We had to cancel our trip and lost £900. I am not sure whether screen4 really tested the sample!

Superb service from Screen4!
We ordered our pre-departure self test PCR kits on the Sunday and they arrived on Tuesday AM. Due to tightening of COVID restrictions in our chosen destination we had to switch holidays, I contacted Screen4 for advice and they replied within 3 hours. Changing the destination and flight details was easy.
We took the tests yesterday AM, dropped them in the Screen4 Barnsley drop box at 11:30, received email confirmation of arrival at the lab at 16:33 and then received the results at 06:46 today. Less than 24 hrs turnaround is much appreciated and means we can now relax and look forward to our holiday tomorrow.
Recommended! :-)

I recently ordered lateral flow tests and also PCR tests.
The day before the government changed the rules I received the lateral flow tests which I can use.
But the PCR tests are no longer needed which I've not received.This was on 3rd January 22
Asked for a refund and I'm still waiting and they are charging £15 each off the tests which they are 3x tests.
Its disgusting and I would never recommend them to any one.

I had my rt pcr done today at screen4 Harlow by Veronika. She communicates with clear instructions all the procedures involved. She was very kind, respectful and polite.

The Screen4 website to order tests are contradictory and can be misleading.
Booked a clinician antigen test at Cambridge for a trip to Iceland and these details entered during the booking. This turned out to be a clinician supervised test which is not accepted in Iceland resulting in having to quarantine until the airport test results came through.
Screen4 not willing to refund the cost of the tests as they declared the website clearly states this was a supervised test. Screen4 do not have a clinician performed antigen test that is accepted in Iceland so not sure how this booking was able to be sold.

Shocking. Do not purchase your tests through this company.
I had a holiday to Dubai booked and had to have a pcr test within 48 hours of travel for me and my husband.
My husband received his results on the morning of departing. I was at the airport still waiting for my test to come through at 1pm.
I called customer service on numerous occasions explaining the gate was closing and I was about to miss out on my holiday.
They couldn’t give a stuff about this, customer service was shocking.
If you can’t provide results within the 48 hour timescale you shouldn’t be trading.
I have now lost out on thousands of pounds due to their incompetence.
Tui recommended this company through their website, I have notified Tui of this awful service and advised they should not be recommending this company if they cannot guarantee results within travel timescales.

Website is disingenuous, fraudulent and factually incorrect with the service that they claim to provide. Staff are rude and totally unhelpful. Stay away from this feckless business.

I used Screen4 in Cambridge in November for my trip to Barbados and again yesterday for my trip to Trinidad this Sunday. Both countries require a clinician-administered PCR test.
Pleased with the fast turnaround, which is vital especially in the case of Trinidad as the test needs to be taken within 72 hours of arrival in Trinidad, meaning the earliest I could take the test was on the Friday for the flight on Sunday.
Both tests were processed quickly as shown below, even though they said it might take up to 48 hours.
Barbados test time Thursday 12:19
Result received Thursday 22:32
Trinidad test time Friday 10:00
Result received Saturday 03:05
I've dropped a star because there is no reception service at the Cambridge office and I had to wait outside in the cold until the clinician had finished dealing with the previous customers

Elise @screen4 customer service online chat was extremely helpful and friendly, she helped me to amend my booking and explained how the testing works and how/when I will receive my results. She was able to answer all of my questions and amend my in clinic booking to later in the same day, whilst reassuring me that I would meet the requirements for my arrival country. Thanks so much for your help.
