it actually wasted my 30mins to verify workplace as it was giving me one time passcode to enter but after that where it asks for work email after that its not moving ahead or sending any code to move further.

It seems buggy, slow to pick up credentials and has failed on me. I have enabled it and it still requires me to set it up again.

I hope this message finds you well.
I would like to bring to your attention a concern experienced by applicants from India and other Asian countries during the SEEK Pass verification process—specifically when selecting the option “I want to verify my Right to Work.”
Currently, the website seems to only support the upload and verification of documents issued by Australian or New Zealand government authorities. As a result, essential credentials from foreign applicants—such as those issued by Indian educational institutions or government bodies—are not being accepted or do not have an option to be uploaded.
Some examples of key documents not being accommodated include:
Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate (issued by Indian government portals)
Indian Driver’s License
Educational Qualifications (degree/diploma certificates from Indian colleges or universities)
I kindly suggest adding more inclusive document categories or a flexible upload feature to support international applicants, particularly those from India and other Asian countries, as this would greatly improve the user experience and increase accessibility for a wider range of job seekers.

I'm wondering if you shouldn't add Working With Children Check as well as Disability and Vulnerable people checks as these are needed for some work places. Eg, I have a WWCC as a volunteer which can be important information for employers to know.

Improving Employment Verification for Job Transitions
Dear SeekPass Team,
I’d like to provide feedback on your employment verification process. Currently, users who no longer have access to their former work email cannot verify past employment, creating challenges during job transitions.
Would you consider an alternative verification method? For instance, SeekPass could send a secure request to an employer’s official HR contact, allowing verification post-exit while maintaining integrity and security.
This functionality would improve usability, especially for those in career transitions or contract roles.

I am writing to express my deep frustration and concern regarding the current issues I am experiencing with your identity verification system. I have uploaded every required document, including my passport, citizenship certificate, car registration, and insurance—despite my hesitations about sharing such private and sensitive information on a job-seeking platform.
I was born in Australia and have lived here my entire life. I am a proud Australian citizen, and being told by your system that I am not a citizen, that I do not have the right to work, and that I do not own a car—despite clear evidence to the contrary—is not only incorrect but also incredibly insulting. This goes beyond a technical error; it’s a disrespect to my identity and heritage.
I’m now being blocked from applying for roles, despite meeting all requirements and complying with your intrusive demands. It is highly concerning that job seekers like myself are being asked to submit such personal documentation before securing a job offer. With the rise of cyberattacks and data breaches, how can I be assured that my sensitive information is safe with Seek?
I demand a full explanation as to why my identity is being denied and how this data is being stored and protected. Furthermore, I expect this matter to be resolved urgently so I can proceed with my job applications without being unfairly flagged or blocked.
This process is unacceptable and deeply concerning.

Our intent in enabling you to verify and share your work-related credentials is to help you stand out to potential employers when applying for jobs on SEEK. That being said, verifying is a totally optional process. We leave the decision of whether to verify and share your result with you, and you remain in control over the whole process.
I’d like to reassure you that if you choose not to verify and share your work-related credentials for any reason, your job application itself is still visible to the employer as normal. The employer will still see the details of your application, the answers to the role requirement questions, and your resume and cover letter as provided.
