Seesaw is great because as a student who just did online learning via seesaw it has 0 bugs

See saw is a truly atrocious system. As a parent it's embarrassing asking a child to use it. It's not user friendly. It will take more time trying to get it to work, realising it simply doesn't work whilst trying to find workarounds (pen and paper) all whilst trying to keep a child engaged who has the right idea of simply not using poor software.

U r not that useful in school. That’s it.

Seesaw has been such a valuable tool in my classroom. It gives my students a real voice and lets them share their learning. I love how easy it is to collect evidence for assessment. Best of all, families feel connected to their children's educational journey and to each other.

Seesaw has most definitely created the learning environment needed for the abilities of our students today.

I've been using seesaw for many years as a 1st and 2nd grade teacher. It is easy for kids to use and great as a teacher to assign relevant content with many access points. Students can share their thinking in many ways, and can work together. Plus teachers can share work with parents. It also allows teachers and parents to communicate in more than 100 languages.

Love Seesaw! They have some truly amazing features especially at their top tiers. I would love to see a feature that an individual teacher can buy into their higher tiers to be able to access all of the features. It is my understanding that the only subscription that you can access is through a school paid subscription.

Seesaw is my favorite way to connect with families. We share pictures and our learning daily, and parents love the real-time notifications of their child's hard work! It has also streamlined my home/school communication.

Seesaw provides engaging activities for my students. It is a place for me to create learning opportunities tailored to what we are doing in our classroom in an easy format for both students and teacher.

Seesaw is a fantastic, user-friendly digital portfolio that my kindergarten students, their families, and I truly enjoy using. The platform is designed with young learners in mind, making it easy for children to quickly master the drawing tools, camera and video features, and microphone. These tools empower students to share their thinking, explain their learning, and document their growth in meaningful ways throughout the year.
The Seesaw platform, with the Seesaw and Community Libraries, provides a wide variety of engaging activities and lessons that make learning fun.
In my classroom, I use Seesaw in several ways. For example, my kindergartners take pictures of their writing pieces and then use the drawing tool to label beginning and ending sounds, while also recording themselves sounding out the words. Later in the year, they photograph their three-page stories and use the microphone and arrow feature to read their work aloud.
Once I approve a child’s work, family members can access their child’s personal journal. This provides a powerful way for parents to see and hear their child’s progress over time.
I also incorporate Seesaw during center time. At the Seesaw center, students choose from a variety of engaging activities I’ve assigned from the Seesaw resources or one I've created. The activities and lessons allow me to differentiate instruction and meet students at their individual developmental levels. This year, I’m especially excited to explore Seesaw’s new AI and assessment features.

We’ve been using Seesaw for years. I love the different ways I can assign practice to my students and give them feedback 1-on-1. It’s such a great way to offer students different ways to respond, such as audio, video, drawing etc.
