The driver was actually outside my house with his grandaughter. She delivered something to my neighbor.

I ordered, and paid for, vegan jelly granules. I received jelly pots-which I do not/did not want because I need the versatility of granules for cooking. Can I get ANY response from Amazon Customer Service? You must be joking. Amazon has, I am sad to say, grown far too big for its boots. Once, it was reliable. Now, no more. today i got notice that between 11am and 1pm i would receive my parcels i sat here waiting and refreshing the page waiting for the map to appear at 13.01 the page refreshed to say 15.30 to 18.30pm . this driver must have known at some earlier point that they was going to have to make this change. i am autistic somthing i have made known to amazon many times .so this change was devastating i had a serious job to do and wasted all this to me waiting FOR THIS!!!!!!! I brought a bathroom set from Amazon UK and was sent emails from the delivery company on the day of delivery told that the item hadn't been received into the depot in time for delivery. So contacted Amazon UK to discuss the issue told not to worry they would send a replacement I asked what about the original item told when and if it turns up I can keep it and i will not be recharged for the item again, I was sent a return request at the time of this being done but was told by the advisor to take no notice of it as it automated and he would cancelled it from his end. the replacement was delivered on 24/02/2026 again I contacted to double check what I had been told was correct and again was reassured that
1. I wouldn't be charged again for the item.
2. I could keep both item if they turn up.
the next day I get an email telling the orginally item was to be delivered on the 26?02/2026 again I contacted Amazon UK and was told again by a manager the same thing I could keep both and I wouldn't be recharged for the item. Then on the 01/03.2026 I got an email telling me that if the original item is not returned by the 07/03/2026 I would be recharged again I contacted Amazon UK explained again what I have been told then sent copy of the email I have been sent from these advisors and Managers and then I spoke with other manager who openly said there was no way of stopping the return and she would refund the amount back to my account to cover for the charge.
I then telephone Amazon UK and ask for a manager and this time I explain and he said to return the item I said why should I when I know that I will be charged and you will have the item back. I said I don't trust of believe any of you at Amazon UK. So now I have to wait see if I will be recharged and if I get my refund to cover and if not the situation will continue. Customer please beware if any manager tell you they have cancelled the return never believe then and if they say you can keep it don't believe them either as it not worth the stress and worry. After Saturday I plan to cancel my Prime and any other thing to do with Amazon UK

Amazon is increasing marking its deliveries as "Handed to Resident" when the package has NOT been delivered.
It's hard to know what is going on but they're becoming increasingly shambolic.

Lack of Customer Service
I am 91 years old and trying to buy kitchen knives on Amazon. I have given them all the information they ask for and the already have details of my payment card. The items are in my basket but when I tap "Verify" nothing happens. Going to Amazon's Help Page is useless - I just keep going round in circles. It is a powerful incentive to buy over the counter locally.
I have tried to buy these item probably 20/30 times over several days.

Another messed up order. So many laly do not arrive, get here late or are the wrong item. Customer service is easy to contact but usless. They are so big now they don't care about customer service.
Lack of joined up systems with Amazon Prime Business
Trying to get a refund for âundeliverableâ items on the Amazon app is such a pain- and time consuming. (Undeliverable because Evri, the worst courier service in the world canât be bothered to locate my address). On the Amazon app you are directed to input info and select options only to be sent back to the beginning again. Eventually got to speak to an agent but needed to give the order number for each âundeliveredâ item when itâs all there on my Order History with undelivered items clearly marked! Talk about joined up systems and wasting time. I pay £100 + per year for Amazon Business Prime and donât consider their service meets expectations. Will reconsider paying again in future.

Delivery driver who lied about my delivery
I usually have no problem with deliveries but today the driver left the parcel on the doorstep, in full view of the road. He didnât knock on the door and it was only that I saw him drive away that I knew someone had been to the door. The message said he had left it in the greenhouse, liar.
I tried to send this information to Amazon but it is a tick box exercise and nothing covers problems with lazy drivers who lie about your delivery.
If I could have informed Amazon about this I probably wouldnât have left this review, they obviously donât care about customer service.
Lucky I was in and it wasnât a very valuable item.

Shame I can't give a minus 10. I have had several products all fail in the last week. Still within warranty but outside the 30 day return window. Trying to speak to a person is a lesson in futility and when after over 2 hours I spoke to a real human they offered me a £5 discount voucher to compensate for a £150 product that was still under effing warranty. It seems Amazon runs roughshod over consumer law much like it does over tax law. Bunch of pirates.
Left items unattended
I canât get anywhere with customer service, itâs all chat bots that donât understand what I am saying.
This morning at 7.30 whilst my husband and I were still in bed our doorbell rang. We have CCTV and on our monitor we saw the courier leave my package outside and walk away immediately. He didnât even look back to see if anyone was at the door.
We live on a main road with an open drive. Anybody could have taken the items, gift cards to the tune of £120. If my husband had not been in I may not have been able to retrieve said items as I am a wheelchair user and cannot reach outside my porch.
This is not the first time I have had to complain about Amazon leaving parcels outside the porch in view of anyone passing by. Something has to change!

I opened this account years ago (just with mild curiosity about using it as a seller) I added my bank card then, shortly after Amazon debited my account £30 without getting my consent or even making me aware of this debit.
I found out years later, by which time they said it's too late to debit the money they stole from me.
They took it, saying it was a 'subscription charge', for what I have no clue, as I never used the profile to do anything..
I later wrote to Amazon in detail on multiple occasions saying that I would like a refund of the money listed on my profile that was taken from me, and they came back at me with small print saying that I was too late. because there's only a 90-day window to get a refund.
The website is shockingly clunky and hard to navigate. Good luck with trying to find a way to contact Amazon to get any support.
When you finally do. The staff are also cold and incompetent. Taking days to respond and not being able to respond with contradictory information.
Some staff told me I could get a refund, while someone told me I could not.
The amount of time and energy I spent trying to get my money back that they stole from me, out of principle, was horrifying.
I've ended up having to give up and feel powerless to do anything..
I imagine they are doing this to millions of users.

I placed a pre-order months ago for a Limited Edition of âThe Good, The Bad and The Ugly.â
The shipment was delayed two or three times.
The first time I contacted customer service, they told me there was no problem and that the order would be delivered soon. After several more weeks, I received another message about a delay. I called customer service again, and they said they would look into it, assuring me that customers are important to them â the usual talk.
Two days later, I received an email saying that my order had been canceled.
When I first called, I even saw the product available at MediaMarkt in Belgium, but I didnât buy it because Amazon had promised to deliver mine. Now itâs sold out everywhere.
For me, Amazon has become completely unreliable. Be careful if you pre-order anything from them.
