Ik heb een Sella royal Loire zadel maar die is verschrikkelijk als het een tijdje in de zon heeft gestaan kun jet er niet meer op zitten. Het wordt ontzettend heet je zou verbranden

Vor einem Jahr ein neues E-Trekking-Bike gekauft und einen Selle Royal Unisex Lookin Evo Relaxed - Stracciatella Fahrradsattel (Neupreis ca. 79 €uronen) montieren lassen. Was soll ich sagen. 1 Jahr bequem unterwegs, heute ist der fordere Teil des Gelsattels eingerissen und der Sattel dadurch aus der Halterung gerissen. Pünktlich zum Garantieende.

I highly doubt they regret it. For whatever reason, they delivered it three weeks after the purchase, and I am no longer in the country. I notified them several times and asked them to return it, but they didn't care.

Purchased 2 "Lookin Selle Royal" bike seats. one started splitting within weeks and was replaced by the dealer. A year later that replacement and the second seat started splitting and were replaced by Trek itself as a good will jesture amid discussions over how unreliable Selle Royal was as a bike partner. Now the one replaced two years ago split and is unusable. Selle Royal basically told me to fly a kite because it was 5 days past the so called two year warranty on the ones replaced by Trek. We will never be buying their products again. I suspect they are made in China and just stamped as made in Italy.

Eigenlijk 0 ster. zadel na iets meer dan 3 jaar gebroken.
Garantie verlopen,na contact met SellaRoyal konden ze niets doen garantie was verlopen.
Voor mij NOOIT meer SellaRoyal zadel, kunnen blijkbaar geen kwaliteit maken

Ik heb een fietszadel Sr2 duur gekocht na 2 jaar is kapot, de vraag waroom is dat duur als de kwaliteit heel slecht

Ich möchte meinen 16 Monate alten Sattel reklamieren. Er ist komplett nicht mehr benutzbar, weil er aufgeplatzt ist. Leider bietet Selle Royal zwar einen kostenfreien Versand an, aber nur innerhalb von 30 Tagen nach dem Kauf. Der Händler hat mich auf den Hersteller verwiesen.

3 Selle Royale saddles and each split in half within 6 months of use - all used correctly and purchased from an authorised retailer - however the retailer closed down so I had no alternative but to contact Selle Royal direct - if I thought the dreadfully constructed saddles were bad enough getting customer services to deal with the warrenty claim was just the start of my woes - delayed replies, dragging out the claim to telling ME to have patience AND NOW - complete silence - saddles unfit for purpose so having to go to litigation and compile a report for Trading Standards - disgusting and unprofessional company AVOID AT ALL COSTS

2 zadels van het type 'selle royal looking relaxed' in gebruik gehad, de ene kreeg overal scheuren, de ander bleef in dezelfde tijd helemaal goed.
Geen vertrouwen in deze zadels.

A saddle broke and I really needed a good one to replace it but mine was no longer in production. Customer service answered within 2 days what type of saddle would suit me best. Good quality products.

Nach 18 Monaten Nutzung (3200 km) ist der Sattel aufgerissen und Wasser eingedrungen. Auch hatte ich dann das „Gel royale“ am Gesäß kleben. Der Händler hat mir den Sattel gegen ein einfacheres Modell derselben Marke umgetauscht, dieses hat 2 km gehalten, dann war die Halterung gebrochen (wiege 86 kg). NIE MEHR!

Non metto in questione la qualità dei prodotti, ma il sito web è a dir poco amatoriale. All'inizio era impossibile accedervi (ricevevo una notifica di utente bloccato). Una volta riuscito a fare il login risultava impossibile aggiungere prodotti al carrello. Il codice inviatomi per l'iscrizione alla news letter che dovrebbe garantire uno sconto del 15% risultava inoltre non valido.
Ho scritto due volte al servizio clienti ma non ho ottenuto alcuna risposta. Non sono riuscito ad acquistare il prodotto e ho dovuto rivolgermi a rivenditori terzi. Esperienza online pessima.

Leider ist Selle Royal kein anständiges Unternehmen.
Auf der Webseite der Firma ist zwar ein Kontaktformular, keiner antwortet aber auf deine Anfrage. Und das ist schon verständlich: die Qualität von Fahrradsätteln ist total schlecht, meiner ist nach 4 Monaten beim Fahren zerfallen. Kein Wunder - alles nur dünne Kunststoffteile, wie soll es halten. Preis 40€ !!
Natürlich antwortet der Kundenservice nicht, weil sonst müssen Sie die Kosten erstatten.
Bei Kaufland habe ich einen Fahrradsattel für 14€ gekauft und der hält schon paar Jahre.
Leute: bloß nicht Selle Royal! Viel zu teuer, keine Qualität und absolut frecher Kundenservice!

No clue how to get in touch with the company. Logged a ticket twice (with a week in between) but they never came back to me. Not even getting a confirmation mail of the receipt of the complaint.
The saddle started leaking on the bottom where the glue of the seam let go. This is within the two year guarantee period.
Just annoying and unprofessional.

Am 19.10.2021 kaufte ich ein Cube Nuride Hybride Pro Fahrrad bei XXL Franz in Koblenz. Wie das so ist war ich mit dem Sattel unzufrieden und kaufte mir bei XXL Feld in 2022 einen neuen Sattel von der FA. Selle Royal Typ Respiro. Im Mai 2023 musste ich feststellen das die Spezialschraube die das Federpaket mit dem dem Sechskant an der Sattelplatte verbindet der Kopf abgerissen war. Dies passiert natürlich auf einer Radtour . In einer Autowerkstatt habe ich den Sattel zerlegt und da ausbohren nicht möglich war musste ich das angespritzte Sechskant mit einer Kneifzange etwas kürzen um an den Rast der Schraube zu kommen was auch gelang. Die Autowerkstatt stellte mir zwei unterlegscheiben und Stahlschrauben für Kunststoff zu Verfügung womit ich eine Notreparatur durchführen könnte um meine Tour zum Ende zu fahren. Daraufhin kaufte ich im Mai bei M&M in Troisdorf einen neuen Sattel von der FA. Selle Royal Typ cool xsenium und führte mit diesem Sattel eine Radtour an der Weser entlang nach Cuxhaven und von dort bis nach Münster. Jetzt im November muß ich feststellen das der obere Teil der mit einer PU Verbindung an der Sattelplatte verbunden ist, einreist. Ich Frage Mich ob ich der einzigste mit diesen Problemen bin. Habe mir aus lauter Frust jetzt einen Sattel für 14,99 von Kaufland gekauft , wenn der kaputt geht muss ich mich nicht mit Händlern rum schlagen, und dauern in die Filialen rennen sondern schmeiße Ihn in den Mülleimer. Darum habe ich gleich zwei gekauft. Sollte er länger halten als ein Jahr werde ich mich hier wieder melde. Ich bin Mal davon ausgegangen das ein Sattel 20 Jahre hält, aber wie man sieht ist die Qualität nicht für Jahre gedacht. Das hat nichts mit Nachhaltigkeit zu tun. MFG.

It's possible Selle Royal makes seats that last longer than mine, but it's also apparent that quite a few people who purchased their seat have had the exact same problem - the seat literally cracks underneath across the middle, which makes the seat potentially dangerous due to collapsing downward and it certainly renders it useless.

Contacting Selle Royal triggered a return customer service message saying you have to buy *direct* from them to receive any warranty otherwise, go talk to Amazon about your problems. And wouldn't you know it, Amazon makes no provisions for dealing with a product that they consider to have only a 12 month warranty, even though Selle Royal claims it has a 2 year warranty for manufacture defects (they don't consider and improperly made seat a manufacture defect).

Just be aware, most people review a product like this in the first 30 days so we're unlikely to see how products like this wear. And lastly, the Selle Royal seat was purchased to replace a 20 year old WTB seat that was just barely showing signs of tearing on the seat cover. It never showed cracking and potentially dangerous subpar engineering methods.

Do not trust this company. They take your money but do not send any item. Just emails with some standard text where they tell they are delayed because of a new logistic system. This is the worst experience I ever had with a company. They don't answer on phone or on emails I send, just some standard text.
